    Betfair football (soccer)
Anyone got any idea what data provider Betfair/Paddy Power gets it's competition listings from? I'm trying to build a results database that uses the same team names and league names that Betfair does. I'm currently scraping data from various places, but I don't have data for many of the games on Betfair, and when I do have data the Betfair events listings often have team and league names that are different to my scraped data, so my bot can't find the game to place the bet. Any help would be appreciated, I wouldn't mind even a paid feed.

A lookup table with all the derivations?

Sure, if you work on it hard enough.

But why work on it so hard when easier pickings are available?

Thanks for the reply. Lookup table with derivations? You're pulling my leg ain'tcha?
Big league games carry odds so much lower than probability that you've no chance of an edge.
