I'm working on nhl and adding scores together for each team. then dividing to come up with an average. is there a faster way to cap this. software or some other method. I'm finding interesting results.

#2what you have posted is quite vague. I'm very involved in working with betting and the NHL and if all you are doing is something along the lines of adding scores and averaging, you have a long way to go, especially if you are doing it by hand.
the answer to your question is yes, there are pieces of software to automate calculations and parse through 1000s of games, I use Excel, others use Python. Again if you are simply doing averages, those are available on NHL or ESPN's website and will not help you win at betting.Comment -

#4Yes I'm doing it by hand. Basically adding up the scores for the 6 games that were previously played by each team and dividing by 6 for each team not very far into it yet
But I did the same for mlb and came up with a

#6Where are you getting your info? SBR odds, matchups does that for you, albeit avgs for the year.
Been tracking the ML fav of the day in all sports. NHL this year went 123- 65 65%. Playoffs are 18- 6 75% so far.Comment -

I hate to see people struggle with something when it's right in front of their faces. You don't have to bet, just
keep track. That's what I did and saw the light. I had paper work from floor to ceiling capping games trying to find
the holy grail when I realized, duh, the books do the work for me just by looking at the odds. My man cave is now clean.Comment
