Is there an online calculator that can tell me ML significance? Or a formula anyone knows about? Here are some NBA ML I was have been looking into this season. Yes, it is only 27 games. Thanks in advance.

Need to be more specific with your question. And you have a math error, the +145 loss should only be -100.

Interestingly, if you had bet the four underdogs only, your bottom line would have been close to the same. But that is even tinier sampling.

Good catch LT. I will watch the underdog angle. I updated my spreadsheet. I have been following a hunch all season. The early season losses maybe the books having poor lines. Looking back at some of the lines, that is what it feels like anyway. I was just trying to find a way to show significance given the small sample number. Since all the odds are different, I was not sure how to do it. I guess I will just keep tracking.

i'm with LT, still uncertain as to what you want to do. but if i am following it correctly, sounds like you want to follow ML and win. my suggestion here is it is much easier than you think, just change the way you are looking at it.

follow those openers through maturity. now, if the nba market is efficient, you will see the closers generate less positive or even negative return compared to the opener. so your task is to learn the market, track the market, shop for the best number at multiple outs and beat the market to the closer. long term winning.
