#3Ive read it. Never put the models into effect, but have used different techniques or strategies from this book in my handicapping.
Whats your question though?Comment -

#4read the book. found some of it insightful and it got me thinking along different lines, which is good.
as for the modeling, anything you can think of data wise to enter and manipulate is already in the line.
think a much better approach would be modeling to price props on your own, as he suggested early in the book.

#5Basically if that college football yards model is worth it and how you do it. What other things have you taken out of this book?Comment -

I disagree, using yards per play and yards per point is something that isn't really factored in sometimes.Comment -

#9I'm wondering where one might be able to get the data that he references in the book. He uses offensive passing and rushing yards per attempt as well as defensive. The most accurate way to do this would be to get team game logs and I can't find a place where I'd be able to get them.Comment -

#11There are some very valuable things in that book when they are applied correctly. Fortunately, it is really easy to misapply things and get mediocre results and abandon the ideas.Comment -

I subscribe to this and have for a few years now. Great box score database, already compiled. I added my own opening and closing lines to it, and now it is perfect.Comment -
