basic question about parlay play

I'm kind of new to betting. Will a sportsbook allow a money line/spread parlay of the same game?

Fictional ex: Arkansas (+2) at Vanderbilt (-2); Arkansas (+130) Vanderbilt (-160)

if I believe Arkansas will win, would I be able to parlay them to win & cover on the same bet?

Books will not allow bets that are heavily correlated. In your example the bets are 100% correlated.

Occasionally books will make mistakes and you can sneak some correlated plays in, but never in a major sport, obvious spot like this.

They should also offer a parlay where you can take the favorite ATS and the underdog ATS on the same card.

The reason why books wont allow this type of parlay is because if you do your betting correctly you will win every time.

For example:

Buffalo @ Cleveland -4

You bet $100.00 on Buffalo +4 (-110).

Then, on the other side you bet $90.00 on Cleveland -4 (-110) and parlay it with Cleveland ML (-210).

The total sum for these two bets is $190.00.

If Buffalo covers, you get paid $190.91 netting you $0.91.

If Buffalo doesn't cover, you win the parlay which pays $253.64 netting you $63.64.

Every sportsbook in town would have been out of business long, long ago.

Only time Vegas lets you make money is the World Cup. Lines were all over the place for that, because the casinos are making the 10% VIG off of all the money that is being bet. +150 for the underdog at one casino and -140 for the favorite at another casino. I am young so I never saw that before.

Even in my example if Cleveland wins by exactly 4 you still make money on the push.

The Buffalo bet gets your $100 back and on the parlay they still have to pay you for the ML netting $42.86.
