    Half Point Calculator

Is anyone aware of any link to an explanation of how the half point calculator works? I understand, for example, at an 8 point spread, -110, -110 that the game has a 1.66% chance of tying and the disadvantage is 4.55%. But what does the line before, and line after, mean? For example, it lists 7.5 -113.9 and -106.2. Does that mean that to get an equivalent 4.55% disadvantage you should not lay more than 113.9 if buying a 1/2 point?

    Thanks,

Exactly, they are line equivalents. Do not put much stock in those numbers when you stray 2 or more points from the original line though.
