    BtCL thanks to late bookeeping

This should really be in the newbie forum but I have over 100 posts, so I apologise if this sounds like an amateur question.

If you're constantly btcl, you're expected to profit long term, right?
If you find a bookie that's always late with their lines, and you can beat the closing line this way though not by much, are you still expected to win long term?

Any "ifs and buts" to this would be appreciated because I know this sounds too simple.

    Define "not by much".

The least amount I guess, if it doesn't turn into steam. So in basketball this would be .5 point maybe 1 point. The bookie that I'm with isn't that late, but late enough.

I don't have enough knowledge on this subject yet, so for me this still remains to be seen.

a 1/2 point would give you a vig free bet and a full point would give you a +eV bet. This is a generic answer, diff points hold diff values.

Make sure you beat the no-big closer not just the closer. And what you're doing is called betting steam. It's profitable but annoying.

He means no vig closer. He has a typo there.
