If Dumpster is traded shortly that may definitely help his value for sure....guy is probably so lost for motivation after playing for that team for the last how many years....he likely knows he's surplus to requirements at this point as Theo rebuilds that team he knows he's gonna be traded....decent bit to stash him maybe....besides, a pitcher at Wrigley is often in line to get shelled as often as the wind there is blowing out....

Carp might be a decent pickup..he doesn't rely on velocity, so he could be ready to go when he is healthy

How short is this league? 10 team? If you got a monster pitching staff and pretty decent bats you should be in good shape unless your in a fairly shallow league and lots of teams have big squads.

As far as your everyday lineup, this looks like points league so I would see if you could wheel one of your loaded starters for a big stick, your wire seems to adequate guys to choose from for pitchers on a weekly basis.

Dempster tossing a nice gem today as well, hope you had him in.
