NFL Player News - Week 11

    Courtesy of Footballguys.com

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski deadline looming

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Former New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski has until Nov. 30 to inform the NFL if he plans to return this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy GMs and Patriots fans have their fingers crossed here. It seems like a long-shot as Gronkowski has now moved on to be a TV analyst. When he retired, Patriots owner Bob Kraft did tell him that he wanted Gronkowski back for the team's playoff run. Gronkowski seems very much retired, but a call from Tom Brady might change his mind. It probably won't happen, but a TE-desperate Fantasy GM can dream, right?

CIN - WR A.J. Green to test out ankle Wednesday

    Source: ESPN - Ben Baby

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) is 'day-to-day' and will see if he can run on his injured ankle without experiencing swelling on Wednesday, Nov. 13, according to head coach Zac Taylor.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Green was supposed to be back last week but was unable to play. We're excited to see him return to the field...eventually...but we won't get too excited until it seems more likely Green is actually going to get back out there. We'll know more about his status later in the week.

CLE - RB Kareem Hunt to remain heavily involved

Source: Akron Beacon Journal - Nate Ulrich

Cleveland Browns RB Kareem Hunt will 'continue to get opportunities,' and head coach Freddie Kitchens expects Hunt's role to continue growing after playing well in Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hunt played 38 snaps in Week 10 and he got 11 touches (4 carries, 7 receptions) in his first game with the Browns. That's something we should see continue going forward. Hunt has plenty of flex appeal for Fantasy GMs with this role.

WAS - QB Dwayne Haskins earns promotion

    Source: ESPN.com - John Keim

Washington Redskins QB Dwayne Haskins has been named the starting quarterback for the remainder of the season, according to interim head coach Bill Callahan.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That's the only move that makes sense for Washington. Haskins is rough around the edges as a quarterback but he needs time and experience starting in the NFL if he's going to be their franchise quarterback.

PIT - RB James Conner should return in Week 11

Source: Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - Gerry Dulac

Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner (shoulder) is tentatively expected to return from a two-game absence and play in Week 11 versus the Cleveland Browns, according to comments made by head coach Mike Tomlin on Monday, Nov. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Steelers rushing attack is better when Conner is on the field. When he's back, the Steelers won't have to rely as much on Jaylen Samuels as a ball-carrier. We'll see what Conner's practice status is like this week.

ATL - TE Austin Hooper to miss time

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Atlanta Falcons TE Austin Hooper (knee) will have an MRI on his knee Monday, Nov. 11, and he's expected to miss time. The MRI will determine how much he'll miss.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bad news for Fantasy GMs here. Hooper has scored more fantasy points at the tight end position this year than anybody else in the league. He's obviously a big part of what the Falcons do through the air. Luke Stocker is next in line behind Hooper, but he's mostly known as a blocker. In crazy deep dynasty formats, we're watching 2018 UDFA Jaeden Graham who might get an opportunity with Hooper down. Graham was a star at Yale, and he's certainly got more of a pass-catching/athletic profile than Stocker.

ATL - RB Devonta Freeman to have MRI

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (foot) will have an MRI Monday, Nov. 11, to determine the severity of his foot sprain.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

All Fantasy GMs need to make Brian Hill a priority on the waiver wire this week. Hill is a good runner but he's also a reliable receiver out of the backfield. His all-purpose skill set means he doesn't need to come off the field that much if at all. Rookie Qadree Ollison is a big back who could get some playing time as well if Freeman has to miss time.

IND - QB Jacoby Brissett may start in Week 11

Source: The Athletic - Zak Keefer

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett (knee) likely will be the starting quarterback for the Week 11 game if he is able to be a full participant during practice Wednesday, Nov. 13, according to head coach Frank Reich.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It was bad enough for Colts fans on Sunday that they were chanting for Chad Kelly. Brissett was close to returning last week, but the team chose to go with Brian Hoyer against the Dolphins in Week 10. It sounds like Brissett should be back this week.

HOU - Jordan Thomas designed to return

Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson

Houston Texans TE Jordan M. Thomas (ribs) has been designated as one of the players to return from the Reserve/Injured list this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy GMs need to be dialed in here. Thomas is a huge target who could dominate in the red zone due to his size and strength combination. The Texans passing game is one to collect pieces of, and Thomas could be their top tight end when he's out there. Monitor his progress in practice and add him if you need TE help in deeper leagues.

CLE - WR Antonio Callaway expected back

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

Cleveland Browns WR Antonio Callaway's benching was only for the Week 10 game, and he will return to the lineup for Week 11, according to head coach Freddie Kitchens.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Callaway is the No. 3 receiver for the Browns when he's not a healthy scratch. His return means Rashard Higgins would have fewer snaps and less of an impact. We'll see if Callaway and Kitchens worked out whatever went on between the two that caused the young receiver to be deemed inactive in Week 10.

CAR - Carolina claims RB Mike Davis

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Former Chicago Bears RB Mike Davis was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Panthers Monday, Nov. 11, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Davis didn't do much with the Bears this year, leading to his release. The Panthers add him as veteran depth behind superstar Christian McCaffrey.

DEN - QB Drew Lock set to return

    Source: The Denver Post

Denver Broncos QB Drew Lock (thumb) is expected to return to practice at some point this week after spending his entire rookie season up to this point on the Reserve/Injured list.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Lock hasn't been seen on the field since injuring his thumb in mid-August. He could be the quarterback of the future, but the Broncos aren't going to put him in there as the starter if he's not ready. Lock has to show 'he belongs' with 'quality quarterback play' according to Broncos head coach Vic Fangio. The Broncos now have 21 days to decide whether or not to activate Lock from the Injured Reserve list or shut him down for the entirety of his rookie season.

NYJ - TE Chris Herndon dealing with another injury

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

New York Jets TE Chris Herndon (ribs) is expected to miss 'an extended amount of time' with a fractured rib, according to head coach Adam Gase.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy GMs have moved on long ago. Herndon returned from his six-game suspension and promptly injured his hamstring. That kept him out even longer but Herndon did get back to action in Week 10, catching one pass for seven yards. Now, he's dealing with a somewhat serious rib injury. The Jets will use Ryan Griffin as their starting tight end.

TEN - TE Delanie Walker hoping for Week 12 return

Source: The Athletic - John Glennon

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (ankle) was spotted running on the field Monday, Nov. 11, and anticipates returning to action against the Jacksonville Jaguars following the team's bye week.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Walker has been dealing with this ankle injury for a few weeks. The Titans have Jonnu Smith starting in his place, and Smith plays like a younger version of Walker. We'll see if the seasoned veteran is ready to return after their bye.

HOU - WR Will Fuller back at practice

Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (hamstring) returned to practice Monday, Nov. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fuller always has flex appeal (at least) if he's on the field for the Texans. That deep speed is a great asset to feature opposite of superstar DeAndre Hopkins. We'll see if Fuller can practice fully later in the week.

    Wednesday Update

NFL - QB Colin Kaepernick to work out for teams Saturday

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Free-agent QB Colin Kaepernick (49ers) is scheduled to hold a private workout for NFL teams in Atlanta on Saturday, Nov. 16. The session will reportedly include an on-field workout as well as an interview.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Reports indicate there have been several teams interested in Kaepernick's football readiness. He hasn't played a down of football since 2016, but there might be a team interested in finally signing him.

SEA - WR Tyler Lockett update

Source: The Athletic - Michael-Shawn Dugar

Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (shin) had to be treated immediately for a bruise on his shin that caused swelling, but head coach Pete Carroll expects Lockett to be fine.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Carroll initially said Lockett was dealing with a "pretty severe situation" as he was hospitalized with this injury. But things appear to be better now. The Seahawks have a bye and don't get back to the playing field until Week 12 against the Eagles. We'll know more about Lockett's status next week.

SF - WR Dante Pettis falling out of favor?

    Source: ESPN.com - Nick Wagoner

San Francisco 49ers WR Dante Pettis is running out of time to prove his worth in head coach Kyle Shanahan's offense. 'The more he doesn't take advantage of his opportunities, the less opportunities he gets,' Shanahan said Tuesday, Nov. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Emmanuel Sanders was banged up with a ribs injury on Monday night and it didn't matter for Pettis. He was targeted three times but he was held without a catch. The 49ers gave Kendrick Bourne a larger opportunity than Pettis.

DEN - QB Drew Lock returns to practice

Source: The Associated Press - Arnie Stapleton

Denver Broncos QB Drew Lock (thumb) returned to practice Tuesday, Nov. 12. A decision will need to be made by Dec. 3 to activate him from injured reserve. CB Bryce Callahan (foot) also returned to practice Tuesday. He has remained on the 53-man roster.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Lock was supposed to be the quarterback of the future for the Broncos, but a thumb injury suffered in the preseason has had him sidelined on Injured Reserve. The Broncos have a 21-day window now to decide whether or not to make Lock one of their two 'designated to return' players.

SF - San Fran hopeful for TE George Kittle in Week 11

Source: San Jose Mercury News - Cam Inman

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (knee) is day-to-day, although head coach Kyle Shanahan is 'hopeful' Kittle will be able to play in Week 11 against the Arizona Cardinals.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll see if Kittle can get in a full practice later in the week. The offense may be without WR Emmanuel Sanders as he deals with a ribs injury. Getting Kittle back would be a great benefit.

SF - WR Emmanuel Sanders could be game-time call

Source: NFL Network - James Palmer

San Francisco 49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (rib) is day-to-day and could end up being a game-time decision for Week 11 versus the Arizona Cardinals, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rib injuries come down to pain tolerance. We'll see Sanders out or limited during the week of practice with an eye on having him ready for the game. Just make sure to have other options if you wanted to play Sanders in Week 11.

SF - RB Matt Breida may miss time

Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero

Updating previous reports, San Francisco 49ers RB Matt Breida (ankle) may miss time to let his aggravated ankle sprain heal. He'll seek a second opinion on the injury, which doesn't sound like a bad one.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The 49ers are deep and talented at the running back position, so they could give Breida some time off or limit him to get this injury right for the postseason run. We'd see more of Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson if Breida has to miss time.

NYG - TE Scott Simonson signs with NYG

Source: NJ Advance Media - Matt Lombardo

Free-agent TE Scott Simonson (Giants) re-signed with the New York Giants on an undisclosed deal Tuesday, Nov. 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Giants are banged up at the position with Evan Engram and Rhett Ellison banged up. This was a move for depth and that's about it. The Giants have a bye this week and play the Bears in Week 12.

I have a good friend who is a Bronco fan and she feels that Elway needs to step down as GM.

"She"? Yes and she know more about football than most yahoos on this site.

Not into gambling but I have been known to "tap" into her wisdom.

    Thursday Update

OAK - RB Josh Jacobs limited

    Source: Raiders.com

Oakland Raiders RB Josh Jacobs (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jacobs could have a huge game against the hapless Bengals in Week 11. He's getting a bit of rest here, but start him as a RB1.

ATL - RB Devonta Freeman unlikely to play

    Source: AtlantaFalcons.com - Kelsey Conway

Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (foot) is considered a long shot to play in the Week 11 game, according to head coach Dan Quinn.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That's what made Brian Hill the top waiver wire addition of the week. Freeman may miss a couple of games with this foot injury. Hill is a good all-around back who doesn't need to come off the field. We like him as a low-end RB2 or flex play against the Panthers in Week 11.

PIT - RB James Conner not on injury report

    Source: Steelers.com - Teresa Varley

Pittsburgh Steelers RB James Conner (shoulder) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Conner should be the lead back on Thursday night against the Browns. Fantasy GMs should be thrilled to have him back, but consider him a RB2 in Week 11.

SF - RB Matt Breida out at least this week

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

San Francisco 49ers RB Matt Breida (ankle) aggravated a low-grade ankle sprain and figures to miss the next week or two.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's a low-grade sprain so that's a positive for the 49ers and Breida. The 49ers have a deep and talented backfield so they don't need to rush him back out there. We'll see more Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson (in addition to Tevin Coleman) with Breida out.

DET - QB Matthew Stafford out of practice

    Source: MLive.com - Kyle Meinke

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (back) is out of practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Let's watch to see if he can practice later in the week. Jeff Driskel would get another start if Stafford has to miss more time.

IND - QB Jacoby Brissett practicing

Source: The Athletic - Zak Keefer

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett (knee) will practice fully Wednesday, Nov. 13, and he'll start this weekend, barring any setbacks.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Brissett is back and the Colts want to get back on the winning track after losing to the Dolphins last week. We'll see if he can practice fully the entire week. He's back, but just double check on his status on Friday.

IND - WR T.Y. Hilton out of practice

Source: The Athletic - Zak Keefer

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) is out of practice Wednesday, Nov. 13, but there's a chance he could practice later in the week.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It would be great for the Colts and Fantasy GMs if Hilton returned this week. His availability is in question so have other options at the ready. Check back to see if Hilton can practice later in the week.

ATL - TE Austin Hooper out a month

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Atlanta Falcons TE Austin Hooper (knee) is expected to miss a month with a sprained medial collateral ligament.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's a blow to the Falcons offense and to Fantasy GMs who were thriving with Hooper at the position. The Falcons will turn to blocker Luke Stocker as their starter but he's not much of a pass-catching option. We should just see more work for guys like Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage.

JAC - Full practice for WR Dede Westbrook

    Source: Jaguars.com

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook (neck, shoulder) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Westbrook will have a new QB this week with the return of Nick Foles. We'll see who Foles prefers to target in the offense. Consider Westbrook a WR3/WR4 in Week 11 against the Colts.

HOU - WR Will Fuller listed as limited

    Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fuller is working his way back from yet another injury. When on the field, Fuller has WR3 or at least flex value for Fantasy GMs. We'll see if Fuller can get more work in later this week.

DAL - WR Michael Gallup practices

Source: 105.3 The Fan - Mike Fisher

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gallup looks like he'll be good to go for Week 11. He's got plenty of flex appeal against the Lions...especially if he keeps his two-game TD streak alive.

DAL - WR Amari Cooper sits out Wednesday

Source: 105.3 The Fan - Mike Fisher

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (ankle, knee) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cooper is getting some rest here. Check back on his status Friday because he's got tremendous upside against the Lions in Week 11.

PHI - RB Jordan Howard limited

    Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Howard is their battering ram, so giving him a bit of rest isn't a bad idea. He's a RB3/flex option for Fantasy GMs against the Patriots in Week 11.

PHI - WR Alshon Jeffery misses practice

    Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Eagles had a bye last week, so many thought Jeffery would be back out there on Wednesday this week. We'll see if he can participate on Friday.

NYJ - Limited practice for WR Demaryius Thomas

    Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets WR Demaryius Thomas (knee, hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thomas is always limited on Wednesdays. He's a flex play for Fantasy GMs with his current role.

NYJ - Le'Veon Bell misses practice

    Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (ribs, knee, illness) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bell is getting some rest here. He's got a great matchup against Washington in Week 11 and could perform at RB1 levels based on his opponent and his sizable role with the Jets offense.

DET - RB Ty Johnson sits out Wednesday

    Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions RB Ty Johnson (concussion) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Lions are awfully thin at the running back position. Fantasy GMs in super deep leagues might be considering a Lions back as a 'what the heck' flex but that's about it.

MIA - RB Kalen Ballage practices in full

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Miami Dolphins RB Kalen Ballage (neck) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ballage is not the best back but he's the starter...and he's facing a Bills defense in Week 11 that has been falling apart. Based on his role and the matchup, Ballage might be worth considering as a flex play in Week 11.

MIA - Miami to attend QB Colin Kaepernick's workout

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Free-agent QB Colin Kaepernick (49ers) is scheduled to hold a private workout for teams Saturday, Nov. 13, and Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores said the Dolphins will have a representative at the workout.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Dolphins has looked high and low for quarterback options. They're going with Ryan Fitzpatrick now but they did trade for 2018 first-round pick Josh Rosen earlier this year. Neither one of those guys are likely to be their starter in 2020....Kaepernick may not be either, but they'll do their due diligence.

CAR - RB Christian McCaffrey misses practice

    Source: Panthers.com

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (foot) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's a day of rest for a player who is getting one of the largest workloads in the league.

CIN - No practice for WR A.J. Green

Source: The Athletic - Jay Morrison

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Green was supposed to be back last week but he was not. We're tentative about his return this week too. When Green gets back out there...IF he gets back out there...should first be thought of as a flex play only. We have to see where he's at with his health and how he meshes with new QB Ryan Finley.

PHI - WR Alshon Jeffery day to day

    Source: The Star-Ledger - Eliot Shorr-Parks

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (ankle) is day to day, according to head coach Doug Pederson.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jeffery did not practice on Wednesday which is a bit of a concern since he had the bye in Week 10 to help get healthy. The Eagles have a banged up WR corps and need to get Jeffery right so he can get out there.

CLE - TE David Njoku eyeing return

Cleveland Browns TE David Njoku (wrist) said he is 'very' optimistic that he'll be healthy enough to play when he's eligible to return from the Reserve/Injured list in Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Getting Njoku would be a boost for the Browns offense. He chose not to undergo wrist surgery earlier this year so he could get back sooner. It sounds like Njoku will start practicing in the near future.

I wouldn't hold my breath, he seems to be injured more than he's on the field going back to college.

    Friday Update

CLE - WR Antonio Callaway gets the boot

    Source: ClevelandBrowns.com

Cleveland Browns WR Antonio Callaway was waived Thursday, Nov. 14. OL Drew Forbes was activated from the Reserve/Injured list to take his spot on the roster.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Browns gave Callaway numerous opportunities to redeem himself, but it didn't work out. He might be facing another suspension and could be waiting a while for his next chance.

ATL - RB Devonta Freeman, TE Austin Hooper miss practice

Source: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution - D. Orlando Ledbetter

Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (foot) and TE Austin Hooper (knee) did not practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Neither will play this weekend. Brian Hill will get the start at running back and he's a viable play against a weak Panthers run defense. Luke Stocker and Jaeden Graham will split the tight end work, with Graham the better receiving talent.

ATL - QB Matt Ryan a limited participant

    Source: AtlantaFalcons.com

Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ryan moved well converting third downs with scrambles last week so we wouldn't worry about this injury heading into the matchup at Carolina.

IND - WR T.Y. Hilton still sidelined

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

Indianapolis Colts WR T.Y. Hilton (calf) is day-to-day as he deals with a calf injury, coach Frank Reich said Thursday, Nov. 14. Hilton has yet to practice this week.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hilton has been known to play without practicing, but since he has already missed time with this injury it is a stretch to imagine him playing without reconditioning first. He's almost certainly out this weekend.

MIN - WR Adam Thielen unlikely for Week 11

Source: St. Paul Pioneer Press - Chris Tomasson

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) remained out of practice Thursday, Nov. 14, and it appears unlikely he will play Week 11 against the Denver Broncos.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This was expected as Thielen deals with his 'minor' hamstring injury that seems to be more problematic than 'minor' would indicate. The Vikings have Stefon Diggs as the No. 1 wide receiver with Thielen out, and he's going to draw Chris Harris Jr. on Sunday. Adjust expectations for Diggs accordingly in that tough matchup. Bisi Johnson will get more work with Thielen out, and he'll have a better matchup than Diggs.

JAX - WR Dede Westbrook fully practices

    Source: Jaguars.com

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook (neck, shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Westbrook will be back for an AFC South showdown against the Colts. Westbrook wasn't targeted by Nick Foles before the quarterback was injured in the first quarter of the season opener.

NYJ - Limited practice for WR Robby Anderson

    Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (back, shoulder) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Anderson has been a massive disappointment this year as he has failed to come through in good matchups like this weekend's vs. Washington. He's only a desperation play at this point.

DET - RB Ty Johnson listed as limited

    Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions RB Ty Johnson (concussion) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

JD McKissic's sleeper appeal takes a hit with this news, although McKissic still has a pulse in PPR leagues.

WAS - Washington to move WR Terry McLaurin around?

    Source: ESPN.com - John Keim

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin is capable of running routes from different spots in the opinion of interim head coach Bill Callahan, who suggested McLaurin will move around the information a little more than he has in previous weeks.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McLaurin is facing a Jets defense that has allowed ten scores to wideouts in the last three games. He's a must play this weekend.

IND - TE Jack Doyle back to work

Source: CNHI Sports Indiana - George Bremer

Indianapolis Colts TE Jack Doyle (shoulder) returned to practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Doyle is a high floor tight end option this week against a Jaguars defense that has been giving up scores to the tight ends at a high rate lately.

PHI - Another absence for WR Alshon Jeffery

    Source: NJ.com - Zack Rosenblatt

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (ankle) wasn't able to practice for a second straight day on Thursday, Nov. 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Eagles are likely to go into the matchup with the Patriots featuring Nelson Agholor, Mack Hollins, Jordan Matthews, and JJ Arcega-Whiteside at wide receiver. Dallas Goedert and Miles Sanders could play larger roles in the passing game.

BAL - WR Marquise Brown sits out Thursday

    Source: WNST.net - Luke Jones

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (ankle) was not seen at practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Brown missed practice on Thursday last week and scored on Sunday, but this is still something to monitor if you are planning on using him in Week 11 vs. Houston. There's no clear wide receiver to pivot to in the offense if Brown can't go.

CHI - RB David Montgomery rolled ankle

Source: NBC Sports Chicago -- JJ Stankevitz

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery (ankle) 'lightly rolled' his ankle in practice Wednesday, Nov. 13, head coach Matt Nagy said Thursday. Montgomery was listed as a limited practice participant Wednesday.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Montgomery didn't practice today and is questionable at best for Sunday night. Because it's a night game, you'll have to have a hedge to play Montgomery, and his ceiling might not be good enough to justify it anyway. Tarik Cohen and Ryan Nall would be see more work if Montgomery can't go against the Rams.

DET - QB Matthew Stafford remains sidelined

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (back) did not practice Thursday, Nov. 14, as he deals with a back injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stafford is almost surely going to be out Sunday, in a blow for Marvin Jones and Kenny Golladay's outlook, and boost for the Dallas defense.

DAL - WR Amari Cooper gets in side work

Source: Dallas Morning News - Michael Gehlken

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (ankle, knee) put in limited work on the side during practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Just check back on Friday to see what Cooper's status is for Sunday. Cooper is expected to be limited during this week but be ready to play in Week 11.

    NYJ - Le'Veon Bell limited

Source: New York Post - Brian Costello

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (ribs) will be limited in practice Thursday, Nov. 14.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bell is just getting some limited work as ribs injuries come down to pain management. It's a great matchup against Washington and Bell should get a healthy workload like he does most every week. Bell is a RB1 for Fantasy GMs in Week 11.

DEN - Denver to check in on QB Colin Kaepernick

    Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis

The Denver Broncos will have a scout in attendance for free-agent QB Colin Kaepernick's (49ers) workout on Saturday, Nov. 13, according to general manager John Elway.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Broncos almost signed Kaepernick years ago after Peyton Manning retired. They are doing their due diligence but at the end of the day have Drew Lock as their potential QB of the future.

SEA - WR Tyler Lockett out of the hospital

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Seattle Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett (shin) returned to Seattle on Wednesday, Nov. 13, after spending the previous two nights in the hospital, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Great news for Lockett here. The injury seems really serious but the Seahawks insist we should see Lockett out there in the near future. Lockett is expected to be ready to play when the team returns from its bye on Sunday, Nov. 24.

ATL - TE Austin Hooper to return sooner?

    Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure

Updating a previous report, Atlanta Falcons TE Austin Hooper (knee) is considered 'week to week' by the team, according to ESPN's Vaughn McClure, who added that head coach Dan Quinn denied an earlier report that Hooper will be sidelined for a month.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hooper is out at least this week, so the Falcons have to find other targets in the passing game. Luke Stocker takes over at tight end but he's more of a blocker. Without Hooper, we just might see more from WRs Calvin Ridley and Russell Gage.

    Saturday Update

ARI - Arizona opting for committee approach at RB

    Source: ESPN.com - Josh Weinfuss

Arizona Cardinals RBs Kenyan Drake and David Johnson will be used in a committee in Week 11 against the San Francisco 49ers, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury, who noted to reporters Friday, Nov. 15, that being named a starter at running back in his offense doesn't matter because of sub-packages.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Drake is the better play with a good performance against the 49ers two weeks ago already under his belt and Johnson looking tentative and slow last week, but neither is a strong play if both are going to be used.

DET - QB Matthew Stafford likely out

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford (back) is expected to miss the game in Week 11, according to head coach Matt Patricia.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jeff Driskel will start again in a blow to the value of Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones. JD McKissic was a common dump off target for Driskel last week but Ty Johnson missed a lot of that game. There isn't a reliable play in the offense in a tough matchup against Dallas.

SF - Doubtful tag for TE George Kittle

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (ankle, knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 15, and is listed as doubtful for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ross Dwelley will get the start in a true test of whether it's a good idea to play any tight end against the Cardinals.

IND - QB Jacoby Brissett returns as starter

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Indianapolis Colts QB Jacoby Brissett (knee) will start in Week 11, the team announced Friday, Nov. 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for the Colts team and offense, although the tight ends Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle are probably the only viable plays from the passing game with TY Hilton out.

CHI - RB David Montgomery back at practice

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Darin Gantt

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery (ankle) returned to a limited practice Friday, Nov. 15, after sitting out Thursday, Nov. 14, with an ankle injury. He is expected to be listed as questionable for Week 11 versus the Los Angeles Rams.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Montgomery could play, but he might be limited in effectiveness and the Bears running game was already having enough trouble getting him going. He's not a good play this weekend. Ryan Nall was just added and could get more work if Montgomery is out Sunday night.

MIN - WR Adam Thielen ruled out Week 11

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (hamstring) on Friday, Nov. 15, was ruled out of the team's Week 11 game against the Denver Broncos.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is no surprise with a bye on the other side of this game. Stefon Diggs has been greatly disappointing without Thielen in the lineup and he could draw Chris Harris a lot in this game to offset the possible extra targets which haven't materialized in previous weeks.

NYJ - Le'Veon Bell limited again

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

New York Jets RB Le'Veon Bell (knee, illness) will be limited again in practice Friday, Nov. 15.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bell is a low ceiling play against Washington, but his team should be competitive throughout, which assures him 20+ touches.

NYJ - Questionable tag for WR Demaryius Thomas

    Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 15, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thomas is a what the heck flex in a matchup against a hapless Washington pass defense. He has looked better than expected during his stint with the Jets.

SF - WR Emmanuel Sanders' status in question

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

San Francisco 49ers WR Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 15, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sanders will be a game time decision and it is basically a pain threshold decision. He'll be at risk of being limited or leaving the game if he's active, but Sanders had a huge game against the 49ers two weeks ago.

SF - RB Raheem Mostert listed as questionable

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

San Francisco 49ers RB Raheem Mostert (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 15, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mostert will be the first back off of the bench if he is able to go on Sunday, although he is unlikely to get goal line carries if past usage patterns hold.

PHI - Questionable tag for RB Jordan Howard

    Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 15, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Howard apparently has not been cleared for contact and can not be considered a play for Sunday unless he's active and new addition Jay Ajayi is a scratch. Even in that case, Howard will be a risk to leave early like James Conner did Thursday night.

PHI - WR Alshon Jeffery to miss Week 11

    Source: PhiladelphiaEagles.com

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 15, and has been ruled out for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Nelson Agholor, Jordan Matthews, JJ Arcega-Whiteside, and Mack Hollins will be the Eagles receivers against the Patriots. Look for Dallas Goedert to play a big role in the passing game as the second tight end.

ATL - TE Austin Hooper to miss Week 11

    Source: AtlantaFalcons.com - Will McFadden

Atlanta Falcons TE Austin Hooper (knee) on Friday, Nov. 15, was ruled out of Week 11 with a knee injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jaeden Graham and Luke Stocker will get more work with Hooper out. Graham is the better receiver but only of interest in extremely deep leagues.

ATL - RB Devonta Freeman ruled out

    Source: AtlantaFalcons.com - Will McFadden

Atlanta Falcons RB Devonta Freeman (foot) on Friday, Nov. 15, was ruled out of Week 11 with a foot injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Brian Hill will get the start and deserves some flex consideration against a mediocre Panthers run defense.

PHI - RB Jay Ajayi returning to Philly

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Free-agent RB Jay Ajayi re-signed with the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday, Nov. 15. Ajayi worked out for the team Friday morning, and a source said the two sides were deep in contract talks afterward.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ajayi should share with Miles Sanders and Boston Scott if Jordan Howard can't go. The Patriots run defense is somewhat vulnerable and Ajayi knows the offense, so he could play a big role in his first game back.

KC - RB Damien Williams excused from practice

    Source: Chiefs.com - B.J. Kissel

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams (non-injury) on Friday, Nov. 15, was excused from the team's practice for undisclosed personal, non-injury reasons.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is probably nothing to worry about, but sometimes this kind of vague absence can portend something more ominous. Check back Sunday morning just in case if you were planning on playing him.

CIN - WR A.J. Green to miss another game

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Darin Gantt

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) on Friday, Nov. 15, was ruled out of the team's Week 11 game against the Oakland Raiders.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It is still no sure thing that we see AJ Green this year. With Ryan Finley at quarterback, he might not be a good play if and when he does return. Moving on to another team in free agency next year would be good for his fantasy value.

kittle looks like he will be out a while himself. the clip the other night on TV showed him celebrating up in the booth (after a TD). if you watch closely you see he struggles to stand up and has to assist himself in being upright. i have a bad feeling about him for the rest of the season.

    Sunday Update

CHI - RB David Montgomery a game-time decision

    Source: NFL.com - Kevin Patra

Chicago Bears RB David Montgomery (ankle) is considered a game-time decision for Week 11's game against the Los Angeles Rams, according to head coach Matt Nagy.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

His status and the matchup make Montgomery a RB3 or flex play...if he plays in Week 11. The Bears might just go with more Tarik Cohen and Ryan Nall if Montgomery can't play.

KC - QB Patrick Mahomes ready to play

    Source: Chiefs.com

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (knee) fully participated in practice Saturday, Nov. 16, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Start Mahomes as you normally would. He was back last week, and while the Chiefs didn't win against the Titans it was not due to Mahomes. We'll be starting him in plenty of leagues once again in Week 11 as the Chiefs play the Chargers on Monday night in Mexico City.

KC - RB Damien Williams officially questionable

    Source: Chiefs.com

Kansas City Chiefs RB Damien Williams (non-injury) did not participate in practice Saturday, Nov. 16, and is listed as questionable for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll see if Williams is going to play on Monday night or not. Fantasy GMs need to have other options at the ready since the Chiefs vs the Chargers is the last game of Week 11. We could see more Darrell Williams and LeSean McCoy if Damien Williams misses this contest. It's worth noting beat writer Adam Teicher said Williams would play but then later walked back to saying "Williams is listed as questionable to play on Monday night on the week's final injury report, so there is some doubt about his availability."

In eight games this year, Hurns has 13 catches for 170 yards and one touchdown. The Dolphins liked him enough to get him an extension and we will continue to see Hurns worked in as the No. 3 wide receiver (he can line up outside or in the slot) with DeVante Parker and Albert Wilson as the top two targets at the wide receiver position.

LAR - RB John Kelly let go

    Source: TheRams.com

Los Angeles Rams RB John Kelly was waived Saturday, Nov. 16.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kelly was a sixth-round pick of the Rams in the 2018 NFL draft. He followed up Alvin Kamara at the University of Tennessee and was a player Fantasy GMs were monitoring in deep dynasty formats. He might land back on the practice squad as the team made room for WR Nsimba Webster on the active roster on Saturday, thus opening up a practice squad spot.

KC - WR Sammy Watkins not on injury report

    Source: Chiefs.com

Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (groin) fully participated in practice Saturday, Nov. 16, and is not on the injury report for Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Watkins should be considered a WR2 for Fantasy GMs in Week 11. The Chiefs play the Chargers in Mexico City on Monday night.

CHI - TE Trey Burton lands on IR

Source: Chicago Tribune - Rich Campbell

Chicago Bears TE Trey Burton (groin/calf) on Saturday, Nov. 16, was placed on the Reserve/Injured list.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Burton was the No. 6 fantasy tight end last year in his first season with the Bears. In 2019, Burton has mostly been a non-factor in the offense and finishes with just 14 catches for 84 yards. The Bears move forward with Adam Shaheen and Ben Braunecker at the position.

HOU - WR Will Fuller to miss Week 11

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com

Houston Texans WR Will Fuller (hamstring) on Saturday, Nov. 16, was downgraded to out for Week 11 with a hamstring injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fuller is trying to come back from this hamstring injury, but the Texans are being cautious with him. He's super fast and can be a big playmaker for the offense when healthy, but Fuller struggles to stay healthy. Without him, we'll see Kenny Stills get more looks behind superstar DeAndre Hopkins in the Texans passing attach.

DET - RB Ty Johnson clears protocol

    Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions RB Ty Johnson on Saturday, Nov. 16, officially cleared the concussion protocol and has been removed from the team's Week 11 injury report.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson should be the lead ball-carrier for the Lions as they play the Cowboys in Week 11. In this tough matchup, and with his lack of production so far as the starter, Johnson is just a deep flex play for Fantasy GMs. J.D. McKissic will get work as the team's pass-catching back.

NYJ - WR Quincy Enunwa unhappy with being fined by team

Source: New York Post - Ryan Dunleavy

New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa (neck) voiced his displeasure with the team on Twitter after being fined $27,900 for missing two treatments for his neck, including one on Veterans Day when he took his wife out to celebrate her service.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He also mentioned that doctors have told him that there is just a 50 percent chance that he is able to resume his career after suffering two serious neck injuries in the last three years.

PIT - WR Diontae Johnson has concussion

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers WR Diontae Johnson (concussion) sustained a concussion in Week 11's game following a hit from Cleveland Browns S Damarious Randall, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It was disturbing watching Johnson after that hit. Johnson was bleeding from the ear as he left the game and has been placed in concussion protocol. He will be monitored closely before the team's next game against the Cincinnati Bengals Nov. 24.

AJ Green will sit out this season, ask for a trade and he will go to a contender next season.

    Monday Update

NE - Rob Gronkowski To Make "Big Announcement" Tuesday Morning

    Source: Dov Kleiman

Dov Kleiman posted on Twitter Sunday: "Former #Patriots TE @RobGronkowski: "I have a big announcement to make. I can't wait to drop it on all of you." "Gronk said the announcement will be Tuesday at 9:00 AM. "Gronkowski must let the Pats know by Saturday, Nov. 30 if he wants to return. Could this be related?"

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Let's be clear: We do NOT know what this announcement is about. It's very likely some sort of promotion for a company Gronkowski is involved with or something about professional wrestling or the like. BUT, the "Gronkowski back to the Patriots" talk will not die. And this COULD be an announcement related to the NFL. If Gronkowski is available in your league and you have the roster room to spare, it might well be worth a Waiver Wire flier just to see how this goes.

IND - RB Marlon Mack out with hand injury

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Indianapolis Colts RB Marlon Mack (hand) suffered a hand injury during the Week 11 game and will not return.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mack was ruled out somewhat quickly, so this could be a multi-week injury. Jordan Wilkins is the between the tackles backup, but he missed this week with an ankle injury. Jonathan Williams was excellent in Mack's place and should be the favorite to lead the backfield in touches at Houston next week with Nyheim Hines getting into flex consideration.

DAL - QB Dak Prescott shreds Detroit

    Source: ESPN.com

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott completed 29 of his 46 passes for 444 and three touchdowns and rushed six times for 18 yards in a 35-27 win over the Detroit Lions in Week 11.

NYJ - QB Sam Darnold tosses four touchdowns

    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold completed 19-of-30 passes for 293 yards, four touchdowns and an interception in Week 11 against the Washington Redskins. He became the youngest player in Jets franchise history to toss four TDs in a game. Joe Namath was nine days older when he did it Nov. 21, 1965.

CIN - WR Auden Tate taken off on stabilzing board

    Source: ESPN.com - Ben Baby

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate (undisclosed) suffered either a back or neck injury in the second half of the Week 11 game against the Oakland Raiders. He was down for several moments before being placed on a stabilizing board to be carted off.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tate had established himself as a starter and one of the most formidable young receivers in the league at the catch point. Stanley Morgan Jr could get more work if he misses extended time.

NE - WR Phillip Dorsett leaves game

    Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (head) left the Week 11 game early because of a head injury and is considered questionable to return.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Dorsett will have to get through concussion protocol to be ready to play Dallas next week. He had a score on a pass from Julian Edelman before leaving the game.

JAX - QB Nick Foles just short of 300 yards

    Source: ESPN

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Nick Foles completed 33-of-47 passes for 296 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Week 11 against the Indianapolis Colts in his return.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Most of Foles damage came with the game out of hand after the Jaguars run defense caved in. He has a great matchup against Tennessee next week and should be considered as a streamer and DFS play.

MIN - WR Stefon Diggs comes alive in second half

    Source: ESPN

Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs registered five catches for 121 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Week 11 against the Denver Broncos, with most of his production in the second half.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Diggs had another big play called back by penalty and scalded Chris Harris on one of his long gains. He is back in our circle of trust heading into his bye.

TB - TE Cameron Brate catches 10 passes

    Source: NFL.com

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Cameron Brate caught 10 passes for 73 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 11. He was targeted 14 times during the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

OJ Howard had a terrible play on an early reception that turned into an interception and Jameis Winston looked Brate's way for the rest of the game. He'll be worth a streaming look against Atlanta next week.

DEN - TE Noah Fant targeted 11 times

    Source: ESPN

Denver Broncos TE Noah Fant ended up with four catches for 60 yards on 11 targets in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fant is in streamer consideration as the Broncos are making him a big part of the passing game as a rookie. He's worth a look against Buffalo next week.

DEN - WR Courtland Sutton hit triple digits

    Source: ESPN

Denver Broncos WR Courtland Sutton posted five grabs for 113 yards on nine targets in Week 11 against the Minnesota Vikings and he also completed a 38-yard pass to Tim Patrick while running twice for 10 yards.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sutton is showing he belongs on the short list of true #1 receivers as he produces with one of the most unlikely NFL starting quarterbacks in a season of long shots getting starts. He'll face Tre'Davious White next week but has to be in lineups.

NO - WR Michael Thomas continues terrific play

    Source: NFL.com

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas caught eight passes for 114 yards and one touchdown against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11. He was targeted 11 times during the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thomas had "only" eight catches as he marches towards the league record for receptions in a season. He's the most valuable wide receiver in fantasy this year.

BAL - RB Mark Ingram has two receiving scores

    Source: ESPN

Baltimore Ravens RB Mark Ingram rushed 13 times for just 48 yards in Week 11 against the Houston Texans, but he added three grabs for 37 yards and two touchdowns on his four targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ingram was nifty in the open field as a receiver and converted his opportunities. He's a boom/bust RB2 with the Rams up next.

CAR - Kyle Allen throws four INTs

    Source: NFL.com

Carolina Panthers QB Kyle Allen went 31-for-50 for 325 yards, zero touchdowns and four interceptions against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Allen is going to make it easy for the Panthers to decide to keep Cam Newton at this rate. He was terrible, missing easy throws and making questionable decisions all day. He's still supporting DJ Moore's value, but he's another potential disaster in the making at the Superdome next week.

HOU - QB Deshaun Watson has ugly afternoon

    Source: ESPN

Houston Texas QB Deshaun Watson completed 18-of-29 passes for 169 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens and he added 12 rushing yards while also losing a fumble.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Watson was frustrated by a burgeoning Ravens pass rush and very strong play in the secondary. One long score on a fourth down was incomplete because of pass interference that wasn't called or reversed on review and it was all downhill from there. He'll look for redemption against the Colts next week after often holding the ball too long in this one.
