NFL Player News - Week 6

    Courtesy of Footballguys.com

ARI - RB David Johnson could sit Week 6?

    Source: ESPN.com - Josh Weinfuss

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson (back) will be monitored throughout the week, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury, who added 'there's always a chance' Johnson won't be available in Week 6 against the Atlanta Falcons due to his back.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Keep an eye on this situation as the week of practice goes on. Johnson's back reportedly locked up on him versus the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5. All Fantasy GMs need to add Chase Edmonds as a handcuff to Johnson or as a player to plug in as a RB2 or flex option if Johnson has to miss some time.

PIT - QB Mason Rudolph in concussion protocol

    Source: ESPN - Brooke Pryor

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mason Rudolph (concussion) was placed in the league's concussion protocol after being removed from the game in Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rudolph took a big hit in the game against the Ravens and was replaced by Devlin Hodges. There's no telling how long Rudolph will miss due to this concussion. He'll have to be cleared from the protocol before he gets back out there on the field. Hodges is expected to start in Week 6 against the Chargers.

KC - QB Patrick Mahomes tweaked ankle

    Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) tweaked his ankle in the Week 5 game Sunday, Oct. 6, but he expects to be OK. 'Just reaggravated it a little bit there in the first half and then got stepped on in the second half,' Mahomes said. 'Obviously it's going to be a little sore tomorrow.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mahomes has been banged up a little this year, going back to the opener against the Jaguars. The Chiefs need to do a better job of protecting him going forward. Mahomes was sacked a season-high four times against the Colts on Sunday night.

NYJ - QB Sam Darnold to undergo tests Tuesday

    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (illness) is scheduled to undergo tests Tuesday, Oct. 8, to see if he will be cleared to play in Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Jets offense hasn't been the same without their franchise quarterback. He should return to the lineup soon. Head coach Adam Gase said Darnold will start if he is cleared.

NYG - RB Saquon Barkley listed as limited

    Source: Giants.com

New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) was limited during practice Monday, Oct. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's unbelievable that Barkley could be back in the near future. Barkley's practice status needs to be monitored closely this week. The Giants play the Patriots on Thursday night.

PIT - Devlin Hodges likely to draw Week 6 start

    Source: ESPN - Chris Mortensen

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Devlin Hodges is expected to serve as the starting quarterback in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Chargers while Mason Rudolph (concussion) recovers from the concussion he suffered in Week 5 versus the Baltimore Ravens. QB Paxton Lynch is expected to be elevated from the practice squad to serve as his backup.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Expect the Chargers defense to be in a lot of lineups in Week 6. Hodges is athletic and keeps plays alive but he doesn't have the strongest arm and is limited in the throws he can make and the plays you can call.

LAC - TE Hunter Henry may practice this week

    Source: ESPN.com - Eric D. Williams

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry (knee) may try to participate in practice this week and his status for Week 6 is uncertain, according to head coach Anthony Lynn.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Chargers need more playmakers in the passing game. Getting Henry back would be great. Lynn said Hunter was moving around well while working with trainers last week.

WAS - QB Dwayne Haskins not a starting option

    Source: ESPN.com - John Keim

Washington Redskins QB Dwayne Haskins will not be a candidate to start in Week 6, according to interim head coach Bill Callahan. QB Case Keenum or QB Colt McCoy will be the starting quarterback against the Miami Dolphins.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The team has stressed they won't rush Haskins and they need to be patient with his development. If he's not starting against the hapless Dolphins, Haskins may not be starting at anytime in the near future.

CIN - WR A.J. Green to miss at least one more week

    Source: ESPN.com - Ben Baby

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) will not practice again this week or play in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens, according to head coach Zac Taylor.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Green should be getting closer to a return but there has never been a clear timetable. He's in the final year of his contract so don't expect him to rush back out there if he's not 100 percent. We'll have to wait another week for an update.

BAL - WR Marquise Brown's dealing with minor ankle injury

Source: The Athletic - Jeff Zrebiec

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (ankle) suffered an ankle injury in Week 5 versus the Pittsburgh Steelers, but head coach John Harbaugh deemed it 'nothing serious' when asked about it Monday, Oct. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Brown could be limited in practice as he deals with this minor ankle injury. Fantasy GMs can start him as a 'what the heck' flex based on his big-play ability and upside on a weekly basis. It would be nice if his usage was a little more consistent. In each of the last three weeks his targets have gone down (9,7,5).

PHI - RB Jordan Howard taking control of backfield?

Source: Philadelphia Daily News - Les Bowen

Philadelphia Eagles RB Jordan Howard is trending toward getting the bulk of the carries in the backfield, according to comments made by head coach Doug Pederson.'I think as we go, Jordan has been kind of the lead back the last couple of games, for sure. ... I think moving forward it's kind of going that way. I can't sit here and say that if Miles (Sanders) has the hot hand one day that (Howard) gets more touches, but that's kind of the trend,' Pederson said.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Eagles have found a formula for victory with Howard leading the way on the ground. Now, there's going to be plenty of change-of-pace snaps/touches/targets for rookie Miles Sanders but Howard is the battering ram this team needs.

NYJ - TE Chris Herndon not a lock to play Week 6

    Source: ESPNNewYork.com - Rich Cimini

New York Jets TE Chris Herndon has completed his four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on substance abuse, but head coach Adam Gase told reporters Monday, Oct. 7, that he will need to see Herndon in practice this week before activating him to the 53-man roster.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gase with some likely coach-speak here. Herndon is a weapon the team has been sorely missing....along with QB Sam Darnold. Fantasy GMs need to add the athletic tight end via the waiver wire if he's out there.

ARI - QB Kyler Murray making history

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Mike Jurecki

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray is the first player in NFL history with more than 1,300 yards passing and 200 yards rushing through his first five career games, according to AZCardinals.com's Mike Jurecki.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Murray knows the offense well. He's come in and immediately been able to run the scheme true to form. We're excited to see Murray as he gets more comfortable with the pro game and adjusts to the speed and discipline pro defenders play with.

PHI - WR DeSean Jackson nearing return?

Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is 'still rehabbing' and 'going to do more this week,' according to head coach Doug Pederson. However, The Philadelphia Inquirer's Jeff McLane believes Jackson 'is unlikely' for Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll see Jackson's practice reports this week before getting excited about his return. When he gets back out there, Fantasy GMs know that he has plenty of flex appeal as the favorite deep target for Carson Wentz.

PHI - RB Darren Sproles week-to-week

Source: The Philadelphia Inquirer - Jeff McLane

Updating a previous report, Philadelphia Eagles RB Darren Sproles (quadriceps) suffered a quadriceps injury in Week 5 against the New York Jets and is considered week-to-week, according to head coach Doug Pederson.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The veteran back may have to miss some time with this injury. In the meantime, we should see more Miles Sanders as the team's change-of-pace back behind starter Jordan Howard.

JAX - James O'Shaughnessy done for the season

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

Jacksonville Jaguars TE James O'Shaughnessy (knee) suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in Week 5 against the Carolina Panthers and will miss the remainder of the season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

O'Shaughnessy is shut down for the year, so the Jaguars are going to turn to rookie Josh Oliver in his place. The third-round pick out of San Jose State has a ton of athletic ability to go along with a strong work ethic. He can line up all over the formation and runs the full route tree. Oliver needs to work on his blocking to stay on the field all three downs. We'll see Oliver and veteran Geoff Swaim as the TE corps for the Jaguars.

NE - WR Phillip Dorsett week to week

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) suffered a minor hamstring injury in Week 5, and he's considered week to week.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A hamstring injury is especially devastating for a speedy receiver like Dorsett. It's considered minor but we are unlikely to see Dorsett on Thursday against the Giants. Jakobi Meyers will get more work with Dorsett out.

Mahomes looked human on Sunday for once. He tears up zone defenses and Indy played ~75% man to man defense, expect a lot more of that going forward vs KC.

    Wednesday Update

CAR - QB Cam Newton to miss another game

Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero

Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton (foot) will not travel with the team to London to play in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Newton is on track and has shed his walking boot as he comes back from a 'mild' Lisfranc injury. The Panthers have a bye in Week 7 and that might be the return date for the veteran quarterback. Kyle Allen continues to start for the team in the meantime.

PIT - RB Jaylen Samuels out a month

Source: The Athletic - Mark Kaboly

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Jaylen Samuels (knee) will miss a month of action following knee surgery Tuesday, Oct. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Steelers roll on with James Conner as their lead back. When he needs a breather, we could see more from rookie Benny Snell. The fourth-round pick from Kentucky is more of a downhill grinder and not the all-purpose weapon that Samuels is as a runner or receiving threat. Expect Conner to get as much work as he can handle.

NYJ - QB Sam Darnold will return

    Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (illness) will return to start in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for the Jets offense here. Darnold's return helps guys like Robby Anderson and Jamison Crowder. Add in the potential return of TE Chris Herndon this week, RB Le'Veon Bell (of course) and you can see a more exciting Jets passing game on the horizon.

CAR - QB Cam Newton sheds boot

Source: The Athletic - Joseph Person

Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton (foot) was at practice Tuesday, Oct. 8, without a walking boot.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for Newton here as he comes back from a 'mild' Lisfranc injury. The Panthers have a bye in Week 7 and that might be the return date for the veteran quarterback. Kyle Allen continues to start for the team in the meantime.

CHI - Optimism QB Mitchell Trubisky returns after bye

Source: Chicago Tribune - Brad Biggs

Chicago Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky (elbow) is hopeful to return Sunday, Oct. 20, against the New Orleans Saints in Week 7 following the team's Week 6 bye, according to head coach Matt Nagy Monday, Oct. 7. 'He's feeling good,' Nagy said. 'I felt like the last couple days he's been in a good place. He's been a part of all the meetings, a part of practice mentally. Because that's just as important, staying involved mentally with your guys and with us. And now we'll just kind of see here, again the bye comes at a unique time. Here he is, he gets injured, so here's the bye. Now, he's able to use this and see if he's able to come back or not for the next game.'I hope he's back. But I don't know that. It could be something where it goes longer than that. I don't know.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Bears are holding their breath here that Trubisky can give them enough stability at QB to let the rest of the team do what they're capable of. We'll see.

DEN - QB Drew Lock sheds thumb brace

Source: The Athletic - Nicki Jhabvala

Denver Broncos QB Drew Lock (thumb) threw on the field for the first time in over a month prior to the team's Week 5 game and no longer needs to wear a brace on the right thumb he sprained in late August.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Lock can resume practicing this week. If the team wants, they can designate him to return off Injured Reserve in Week 9. The Broncos only have one win this year and could be turning to look at the future if they don't put together a few more wins before Lock is available.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski return put to rest?

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Former New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski was hired by FOX to appear as a regular analyst on FOX NFL Sunday.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Guys can always leave TV gigs to get back to the NFL if they really want to (see Jay Cutler a few years ago). Patriots fans and some Fantasy GMs will still hold out hope that Gronkowski returns later in the year, but this tends to happen with beloved veterans when they retire (remember people thinking Calvin Johnson would come back?). We're excited to see Gronk on TV because of his personality and you never know what he's going to say or do.

NYG - TE Evan Engram in jeopardy

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (knee) is in danger of missing Week 6 due to a sprained medial collateral ligament, according to sources.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Giants are hurting in this matchup against the Patriots in Week 6. They'll be without Saquon Barkley, Sterling Shepard, Wayne Gallman and Engram. That doesn't leave rookie QB Daniel Jones much to throw to against a stout Patriots defense.

NYG - RB Saquon Barkley unlikely for Week 6

    Source: ESPN.com - Jordan Raanan

New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) is unlikely to return Thursday, Oct. 10, to play in Week 6, according to sources.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Giants are likely to be without backup Wayne Gallman too. That means we could see Jon Hilliman as the lead back.

    Thursday Update

LAR - RB Todd Gurley misses practice

    Source: TheRams.com

Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Keep an eye on this one as it seems to have come up unexpectedly. Let's see what he's able to do Thursday.

PIT - QB Mason Rudolph officially limited

    Source: Steelers.com - Teresa Varley

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mason Rudolph (concussion) was officially listed as limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Earlier reports had speculated that Rudolph may not miss any time due to this concussion. We'll see if that's the case as the week of practice goes on. The Steelers travel to face the Chargers on Sunday night. Devlin Hodges would start if Rudolph has to miss more time.

DAL - WR Michael Gallup gets in full practice

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

Dallas Cowboys WR Michael Gallup (knee) was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gallup's return last week was a boost for Fantasy GMs who trusted him, even though his production came in garbage time. We see the young receiver as a WR3 or flex option against the Jets in Week 6.

CLE - WR Odell Beckham Jr. practices in full

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. (hip) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy GMs are seeing their patience tested with Beckham. The Browns are reeling after getting embarrassed on Monday night against the 49ers. We still have Beckham as a low-end WR1 in Week 6 against the Seahawks.

HOU - RB Carlos Hyde fully practices

    Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans RB Carlos Hyde (shoulder, thigh) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hyde should get plenty of work against the Chiefs in Week 6. Fantasy GMs know the upside is there with a good gameplan, making Hyde a RB3 or flex option.

HOU - WR Kenny Stills limited

    Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (hamstring) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Watch for Stills to fully practice later in the week. If he can't play against the Chiefs, it would mean more for Keke Coutee.

KC - WR Tyreek Hill a limited participant

    Source: Chiefs.com

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hill is getting closer to a return. The Chiefs have a short week after they play the Texans on Sunday as they'll travel to Denver to take on the Broncos on Thursday night in Week 7. We'll see if Hill is active this week or if they save him for the divisional game against Denver.

BAL - No practice for TE Mark Andrews

    Source: BaltimoreRavens.com

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews (shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Just keep an eye on the second-year pro as he's a bit banged up. We'll know more about his playing status on Friday.

DAL - WR Amari Cooper limited Wednesday

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (ankle/quad) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cooper is likely to be limited at least part of the week. We're expecting him to be a full participant on Friday. Check back at the end of the week to see if that's the case.

NYJ - WR Robby Anderson gets in full practice

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (back) was listed as a full participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Things are looking up for Anderson. Not only because of his practice status, but mainly due to the return of QB Sam Darnold. We see Anderson as a WR4 or deep flex option this week against the Cowboys.

TEN - TE Delanie Walker out of Wednesday's practice

Source: The Athletic - John Glennon

Tennessee Titans TE Delanie Walker (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Walker has a great matchup this week against a Broncos defense that historically struggles against the tight end position. We'll see if he can practice later in the week. If not, Jonnu Smith would make for a 'what the heck' tight end play of DFS play in Week 6.

TB - WR Chris Godwin limited Wednesday

    Source: Buccaneers.com

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin (hip) was a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Godwin has been limited in practice for some time now...and he goes all out on Sunday. Keep starting him as a WR1 and the best part of the Buccaneers offense, especially with Mike Evans getting so much attention from opposing defenses.

LAC - TE Hunter Henry to practice in limited role

Source: The Athletic - Daniel Popper

Los Angeles Chargers TE Hunter Henry (knee) will practice in a limited role Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We'll see if Henry can do more later in the week. He might not play in Week 6 on Sunday night against the Steelers, but Henry might be able to play in Week 7. Either way, the talented tight end is getting close to a return.

NE - WR Phillip Dorsett will not play

    Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9, and has been ruled out for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Patriots should be able to have their way with the Giants on Thursday night. Without Dorsett, we could see more from undrafted rookie Jakobi Meyers.

CLE - WR Rashard Higgins a full participant Wednesday

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) practiced in full Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Higgins didn't play on Monday night against the 49ers, and he hasn't seen the field since Week 1. Perhaps they'll get him back on the field this week against the Seahawks.

CAR - No practice for RB Christian McCaffrey

    Source: Panthers.com

Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (back) did not participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCaffrey needs a breather after getting a huge workload against the Jaguars in Week 5. Monitor his practice status during the week but he should be good to go on Friday and for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers in London.

WAS - QB Case Keenum likely to start

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Washington Redskins QB Case Keenum (foot) will start this week if his foot injury allows him to play, according to sources.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The team is not yet going to start 2019 first-round pick Dwayne Haskins. In an easy matchup against the Dolphins, Keenum could be worth streaming or in 2-QB leagues.

KC - WR Sammy Watkins out of practice

    Source: KCChiefs.com - B.J. Kissel

Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) is out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Watkins is talented but oft-injured. Now, Fantasy GMs are watching his practice status closely. We are expecting a great game between the Chiefs and the Texans on Sunday. Watch to see if Watkins can practice on Friday.

NYG - WR Sterling Shepard out

    Source: SNY - Ralph Vacchiano

New York Giants WR Sterling Shepard (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Giants are going to be missing a ton of weapons on offense against the Patriots in Week 6. Without Shepard, the Giants will use more of Golden Tate and Darius Slayton.

NYG - RB Wayne Gallman out this week

    Source: SNY - Ralph Vacchiano

New York Giants RB Wayne Gallman (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gallman is one of many players on offense who are going to miss the game against the Patriots. We will see Jon Hilliman as the starting running back for the Giants. New England's defense is 3rd-best in the league, allowing an average of 78.0 rushing yards per game. Hilliman is nothing more than a RB3 or deep flex play at best.

NYG - RB Saquon Barkley ruled out

    Source: SNY - Ralph Vacchiano

New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) was ruled out for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Barkley is getting closer but he's not ready yet. Jon Hilliman is going to be the Giants starter in a tough matchup against the Patriots on Thursday.

NYG - TE Evan Engram out for Week 6

    Source: SNY - Ralph Vacchiano

New York Giants TE Evan Engram (knee) has been ruled out for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Giants are hurting big time on offense for this game Thursday night. Without Engram at tight end, Rhett Ellison will be the starter but only super desperate Fantasy GMs should be considering him.

PHI - WR DeSean Jackson remains idle

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen) remains out of practice Wednesday, Oct. 9.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy GMs are waiting patiently for Jackson's return. Check back later in the week on his status to see if he can play against the Vikings on Sunday. Eagles coach Doug Pederson said they'd try to get Jackson to begin outdoor rehab off to the side on Wednesday.

MIA - QB Josh Rosen entrenched as starter

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Miami Dolphins QB Josh Rosen will remain the starter the rest of the season, according to head coach Brian Flores.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Dolphins are looking at potentially landing the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, so they have to see what they have in Rosen. If he plays well over the rest of the season, perhaps Miami would be convinced to keep him as their starter and go in a different direction in the draft. If not, expect the Dolphins to spend their 2020 first-round pick on a quarterback.

PIT - WR James Washington out a few weeks

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Pittsburgh Steelers WR James Washington (shoulder) is expected to miss a few weeks due to a shoulder injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Washington had a season-high three catches for 52 yards before leaving the Week 5 game against the Ravens with this shoulder injury. Without him on the field, the Steelers should turn to Johnny Holton and Ryan Switzer as the No. 3 and No. 4 options at the wide receiver position.

SEA - RB Chris Carson retains control of backfield

    Source: Football Outsiders

Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson played 62 offensive snaps in the Week 5 victory over the Los Angeles Rams Thursday, Oct. 3. Rashaad Penny played just 12 snaps in his return from injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Penny should get worked in a little more as the season rolls on. He played a season-high 26 snaps against the Steelers in Week 2. Carson is still the lead back, but Penny should be getting some more work provided he can stay healthy.

    Friday Update

LAR - RB Todd Gurley's Week 6 status in question

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley (quad) is not expected to practice for a second straight day Thursday, Oct. 10, and his status for Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers is reportedly 'very much up in the air,' according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gurley has had a week since the Week 5 loss to get ready to play and he doesn't appear to trending in the right direction. Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson would both be flex plays or emergency RB2s if Gurley can't go.

TB - Tampa Bay preaching patience with TE O.J. Howard

    Source: Buccaneers.com - Scott Smith

Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE O.J. Howard's 'time is coming in this offensive system,' according to offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich, who added he wants the transition to happen naturally.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Howard is barely rosterable right now, but it is at least encouraging to hear the offensive coordinator say something optimistic about his outlook. He might be on your waiver wire but is only worth adding if you have nothing at tight end.

ARI - RB David Johnson a no-go again Thursday

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson (back) did not practice for a second straight day Thursday, Oct. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Chase Edmonds is set up for a start if Johnson isn't ready, although he is an established player who could still play without any practice this week if he feels good on Sunday. Edmonds is worth a flex play at worst.

PIT - QB Mason Rudolph remains in protocol

    Source: ESPN - Brooke Pryor

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mason Rudolph (concussion) is still working through the league's concussion protocol Thursday, Oct. 10, and offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner said Thursday he isn't sure who the team's starting quarterback will be in Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rudolph appeared to suffer a very serious concussion with extended loss of consciousness, so let's hope the team errs of the side of safety with their current starting quarterback. Devlin Hodges looked ready for NFL action when he relieved Rudolph last week.

NO - QB Drew Brees pushing for Week 8 return?

Source: Yahoo! Sports - Charles Robinson

New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees (thumb) wants to return prior to the team's Week 9 bye, according to Yahoo! Sports' Charles Robinson, who writes that Brees has been 'living in the training room' in hopes of an early return. The team, however, appears to be targeting Week 10 for Brees' return.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Brees is going to push to get back ASAP but the Saints are winning with Teddy Bridgewater and there's no need to rush Brees back. He's trending in the right direction and we'll see Brees soon.

NE - Optimism WR Phillip Dorsett misses only one game

    Source: NESN - Dakota Randall

New England Patriots WR Phillip Dorsett (hamstring) isn't expected to miss more than one game after being ruled out for Thursday, Oct. 10's game against the New York Giants, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Dorsett should return just in time for a second half schedule that will force the Patriots to be more aggressive in the passing game against teams with actual viable offenses.

DAL - WR Amari Cooper a limited participant

Source: 105.3 The Fan - Mike Fisher

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper (ankle, quadriceps) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The maladies are piling up for Cooper, but he is red hot and can't be benched going into a good matchup with the Jets. The Week 8 bye should be very welcome for the Cowboys #1 receiver.

PIT - TE Vance McDonald still sidelined

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers TE Vance McDonald (shoulder) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McDonald returned and he was productive last week, but he might not be ready for Sunday night's game. He has had trouble staying healthy in the past, so this isn't a shock. New acquisition Nick Vannett would start if McDonald can't go vs. the Chargers.

HOU - WR Kenny Stills remains limited

    Source: HoustonTexans.com

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (hamstring) remained a limited participant in practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Stills isn't over his hamstring issue yet and it makes sense for the Texans to be cautious with him since Keke Coutee is healthy and had a big play last week. We'll probably have another game time decision with Stills this week.

KC - WR Tyreek Hill stays limited

    Source: Chiefs.com

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (shoulder) got in another limited practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hill isn't a sure thing for Sunday, but he's closer to playing than Sammy Watkins. His return would be a boon for Patrick Mahomes, who is in a slump right now.

KC - QB Patrick Mahomes stays full participant

    Source: Chiefs.com

Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (ankle) practiced in full once again Thursday, Oct. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If Mahomes ankle is going to limit his play this week vs. Houston, it isn't showing in his practice participation.

CIN - WR A.J. Green will not be moved

Source: The Athletic - Paul Dehner Jr.

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green will not be traded before the trade deadline, according to head coach Zac Taylor.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It might not be Taylor's call but it is at least positive to hear the head coach acknowledge Green's immense talent. We'll see if the team follows through on his words and then if they sign him to a long term deal before he becomes a free agent next year.

ARI - WR Christian Kirk logs second straight practice

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

Arizona Cardinals WR Christian Kirk (ankle) practiced for a second straight day Thursday, Oct. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kirk is worth a WR3/Flex play against the horrid Falcons pass defense as long as he is active and his presence would improve Kyler Murray's already bright outlook.

GB - RB Jamaal Williams out of concussion protocol

    Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky

Green Bay Packers RB Jamaal Williams cleared the concussion protocol Thursday, Oct. 10, and returned to practice.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Williams should get back in action Monday night, but Aaron Jones will remain the first option at the goal line. Keep Jones in your lineup, but check if Williams is out there an injury upside hold in deep leagues.

BAL - WR Marquise Brown sits out Thursday

    Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (ankle) was not spotted on the field during the open portion of practice Thursday, Oct. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The team has downplayed the severity of his injury, but we can't count on Brown playing this week and it might be wise to sit him in what should be an easy game against the winless Bengals. Willie Snead would become a good sleeper if Brown can't go or is limited in this one.

DET - TE T.J. Hockenson a full go Thursday

    Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman

Detroit Lions TE T.J. Hockenson (concussion) was a 'full go' at the team's open practice Thursday, Oct. 10. Hockenson remains in the concussion protocol after being injured Sept. 19.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hockenson's status was actually limited officially, but the signs are pointing to a return for Monday night's game. Hopefully we will get word before Sunday kickoffs to know if we can use him this week in lineups because tight end has about six reliable options right now.

KC - WR Sammy Watkins still sidelined

    Source: Chiefs.com - B.J. Kissel

Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (hamstring) remained out of practice Thursday, Oct. 10, for the second straight day.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Watkins looks like he's on the doubtful side of questionable this week. If he and Tyreek Hill both sit, all of Mecole Hardman, Demarcus Robinson, and Byron Pringle become viable WR3/Flex plays.

GB - WR Davante Adams improving

    Source: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) is 'getting a little bit better each and every day,' Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Thursday, Oct. 10. Adams will try and practice later Thursday as he deals with a turf-toe injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Adams didn't sound like a player who expected to play this week when he was interviewed. He said he isn't coming back until he is 100% and gave no timeline. Expect him to sit on Monday night.

CAR - RB Christian McCaffrey will play

    Source: Panthers.com - Max Henson

Updating previous reports, Carolina Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey (back) is fully expected to practice Friday, Oct. 11, and play in Week 6, according to head coach Ron Rivera.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCaffrey is getting a huge workload the Panthers need to monitor so they don't wear him out. He's a no-brainer RB1 for Fantasy GMs every week.

NYJ - TE Chris Herndon likely out two weeks

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

New York Jets TE Chris Herndon (hamstring) is out for Week 6 and likely out for Week 7 because of his hamstring strain.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Herndon was supposed to be back from his suspension this week but Fantasy GMs will have to wait. The Jets are glad to have QB Sam Darnold back in Week 6, and he'll be glad to have Herndon out there at tight end eventually.

PHI - WR DeSean Jackson likely out again

    Source: ESPN.com - Tim McManus

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (abdomen) is likely out again in Week 6, but he's hoping to return for Week 7 against the Dallas Cowboys.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Eagles are being wisely cautious with the veteran here. Getting back for a huge divisional contest against the Cowboys would be huge. We'll see what his practice status is like next week.

CLE - QB Baker Mayfield expected to be fine

    Source: BrownsZone - Scott Petrak

Cleveland Browns QB Baker Mayfield (leg, shoulder) had his leg and shoulder wrapped after the Week 5 game against the Sean Francisco 49ers according to reports. However, head coach Freddie Kitchens doesn't expect the issues to linger. 'I am sure he was bumped and bruised,' Kitchens said Wednesday, Oct. 9. 'He got hit more than I would like him to get him, but he will be fine.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mayfield is fine physically but we're worried about him 'seeing ghosts' on the football field. The pressure is getting to him and his decision making is not on point in 2019. We'll see if the Browns can better protect him and we'll see if Mayfield starts making better throws going forward.

    Saturday Update

LAR - RB Todd Gurley listed as doubtful

    Source: TheRams.com

Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley (quadriceps) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is listed as doubtful for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Malcolm Brown is facing a tough run defense but is at least a flex consideration on volume and touchdown opportunity. Darrell Henderson should also finally get a chance to show what he can do on a regular season NFL field.

SF - Questionable tag for TE George Kittle

    Source: 49ers.com

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is listed as questionable for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The team has said they expect Kittle to play but it's probably best to roster another tight end if he is the only option on your roster.

NYG - Jon Hilliman gets the boot

    Source: Newsday - Tom Rock

New York Giants RB Jon Hilliman was waived Fri, Oct. 11. Free-agent RB Javorius Allen (Saints) was signed to an undisclosed contract to replace him on the roster.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Allen could be set up to start against Arizona next week if Saquon Barkley isn't ready and Wayne Gallman is still in concussion protocol. Hilliman was a disaster as a starter vs the Patriots last night.

PIT - QB Mason Rudolph will not play

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Mason Rudolph (concussion) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 11, but has been ruled out for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Devlin Hodges will get the start. He was a prolific FCS passer and has some running ability, so he's worth a look in Superflex/2QB leagues or as a cheap DFS option.

NYG - RB Saquon Barkley working toward return

Source: NFL Network - Kimberly Jones

New York Giants RB Saquon Barkley (ankle) could return in Week 7, head coach Pat Shurmur said Friday, Oct. 11. 'We'll see,' Shurmur said. 'He's made good progress. He was out there running around (Friday). We'll see what the week brings.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Giants got nothing from their running game vs New England but should get Wayne Gallman back from his concussion at worst. Barkley is the most important player in the offense so the team will conservative with his return.

NE - WR Josh Gordon injury likely not serious

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

New England Patriots WR Josh Gordon (knee) departed with a knee injury in the second quarter Thursday, Oct. 11, but the issue isn't believed to be serious, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gordon has an extra-long 11 days between games with Week 7 a Monday night game vs the Jets. He has been a disappointment this year, but shouldn't be dropped.

WAS - QB Case Keenum to start Week 6

Source: The Washington Post - Les Carpenter

Washington Redskins QB Case Keenum (foot) will start in Week 6, interim coach Bill Callahan said Friday, Oct. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is good for Terry McLaurin, especially if Xavien Howard is out. Paul Richardson is also a desperation play with some upside in this matchup.

KC - Optimism builds for WR Tyreek Hill return

    Source: NFL.com - Kevin Patra

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (shoulder) has a good chance to play in Week 6, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Friday, Oct. 11. Rapoport said Hill will have his injured clavicle scanned Friday, and if everything looks good, he will be cleared to play Sunday, Oct. 13.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hill is a game time decision and one that you have to plug into your lineup when he is active. Mecole Hardman, Byron Pringle and Demarcus Robinson are all what the heck flexes if Hill is in and upside WR3/Flex plays if he is out.

ARI - RB David Johnson has a chance to play

Source: The Arizona Republic - Bob McManaman

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson (back) 'has a chance to play' in Week 6, according to general manager Steve Keim.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This seems to indicate that he's on the doubtful side of questionable since Keim's phrasing suggests the more likely outcome is that he doesn't play. Chase Edmonds should be in lineups either way as the team has been preparing him as the starter against the woeful Falcons defense.

NYJ - Questionable tag for WR Demaryius Thomas

    Source: NewYorkJets.com

New York Jets WR Demaryius Thomas (hamstring, knee) was limited during practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is listed as questionable for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

If Thomas is out, Jamison Crowder might get more snaps outside to hurt his outlook, but the team could also use more of Vyncint Smith, a size/speed prospect they recently claimed from the Texans practice squad.

CLE - WR Rashard Higgins not on injury report

    Source: Seahawks.com - John Boyle

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Higgins is ready to play, but there are some indications that he might be a healthy scratch. He and Baker Mayfield have excellent chemistry so the team lacking confidence in him is odd.

NO - RB Alvin Kamara listed as questionable

    Source: NewOrleansSaints.com

Updating a previous report, New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Oct. 11, and is listed as questionable for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kamara is shaping up as a true game time decision. If he can't go, Latavius Murray will be a strong RB2.

BAL - TE Mark Andrews questionable

    Source: BaltimoreRavens.com

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews (shoulder) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 11, but is listed as questionable for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Andrews has been questionable most weeks this year, so as long as he's active you can still trust him. These injuries could accumulate and affect his availability down the line.

BAL - WR Marquise Brown iffy for Week 6

Source: The Athletic - Jeff Zrebiec

Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (ankle) was unable to practice Friday, Oct. 11, for the third straight day, and his status for Week 6 will come down to a game-time decision, head coach John Harbaugh said.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Willie Snead is probably the best pivot if Brown is out, with Seth Roberts likely elevating to #2 receiver and rookie Miles Boykin also getting more snaps. Lamar Jackson's upside would lose some edge if his #1 receiver is out.

HOU - WR Kenny Stills to be game-time decision

    Source: NFL.com - Kevin Patra

Houston Texans WR Kenny Stills (hamstring) will be a game-time decision in Week 6, head coach Bill O'Brien said Friday, Oct. 11.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Keke Coutee is a what the heck flex if Stills is out. If Stills is active both lose luster and become desperation plays despite the good matchup against Kansas City.

TB - Targeting WR Mike Evans a priority

Source: Tampa Bay Times - Eduardo A. Encina

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans is coming off a reception-less game in Week 5, and QB Jameis Winston says that has to change. 'Bottom line, to win football games, we've got to get Mike Evans the ball,' Winston said Thursday, Oct. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Evans has a tough matchup that held him to 4-61 in the first meeting this year, but it will be very difficult to bench him knowing this priority has been voiced.

GB - WR Davante Adams unsure of return date

Source: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel - Jim Owczarski

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) said he's unsure of when he'll be able to return, but his toe doesn't feel the way he wants it to right now. Adams said surgery isn't needed right now, but the injury could worsen or linger. 'There's things I can do, but we'll keep a lot of that in house right now,' Adams said. 'I can move around on it, but me moving around on it and feeling like it's feeling better that day or not in pain just sitting there is a lot different than having to break tackles and cut and release and things like that.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Adams won't play on Monday night and Week 7 is questionable at best. The Packers don't have their bye until Week 11, so they can't take advantage of that get Adams back earlier in the progression of the schedule. You have to hold Adams in redraft leagues, but we're not sure when we will see him again.

    Sunday Update

LAR - RB Todd Gurley will not play

    Source: ESPN.com - Lindsey Thiry

Los Angeles Rams RB Todd Gurley (quadriceps) has been ruled out for the Week 6 game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

As expected, Gurley will miss the game against the 49ers on Sunday. That means Malcolm Brown should be the lead back with rookie Darrell Henderson getting some change-of-pace work. We see Brown as a RB2 with upside while Henderson is more of a 'what the heck' flex.

NO - RB Alvin Kamara travels with team

    Source: ESPN.com - Mike Triplett

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara (ankle) traveled with the team for their Week 6 game and is still listed as questionable for the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kamara might see a slight reduction in work this week if he plays against the Jaguars. They're not calling him a game-time decision but make sure to check on Sunday morning just to be sure the superstar back is playing. Latavius Murray might get more work with Kamara a little banged up.

SF - TE George Kittle expected to play

Source: NBC Sports Bay Area - Matt Maiocco

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (groin) is listed as questionable with a groin injury, but head coach Kyle Shanahan said he expects Kittle to play in Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Even though he's a little banged up, Fantasy GMs should be starting Kittle. He's the type of player who can have a big game when he's not 100 percent. The Rams have an inconsistent defense and they will be missing LB Clay Matthews and CB Aqib Talib on Sunday.

BAL - WR Marquise Brown a game-time decision

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens WR Marquise Brown (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Week 6's game against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The matchup is there for Brown to have a huge game...if he's healthy. Watch his playing status before the game and have other plans at the ready.

CLE - WR Rashard Higgins may be healthy scratch

Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot

Cleveland Browns WR Rashard Higgins (knee) is healthy enough to play in Week 6, but head coach Freddie Kitchens said he is not sure if Higgins will be active for the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is an...interesting...proclamation from the head coach. Higgins is good to go from a health standpoint but he may not play. Have other options ready. If he does play, Higgins will compete with Antonio Callaway for outside duties opposite of Odell Beckham Jr with Jarvis Landry in the slot.

GB - Full practice for RB Jamaal Williams

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers RB Jamaal Williams (concussion) fully participated in practice Saturday, Oct. 12, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Williams is ready to get back on the field for the Packers. In the Monday night game against the Lions, Williams should play as a power change-of-pace option behind starter Aaron Jones.

GB - WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling practices

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling (calf, hamstring) fully participated in practice Saturday, Oct. 12, and is not on the injury report for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That's a good sign for Valdes-Scantling. He's likely the No. 1 wide receiver for the Packers with Davante Adams (toe) out on Monday night against the Lions. Geronimo Allison is the No. 2 receiver behind Valdes-Scantling.

GB - TE Jimmy Graham not on injury report

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (non-injury) was limited during practice Saturday, Oct. 12, but is not on the injury report for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The veteran is just likely getting some rest. The Packers play the Lions on Monday night and Graham is a TE2 with upside for Fantasy GMs in Week 6.

DET - TE T.J. Hockenson questionable

    Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions TE T.J. Hockenson (concussion) fully participated in practice Saturday, Oct. 12, but is listed as questionable for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fantasy GMs want Hockenson to explode like he did in Week 1 against the Cardinals. There hasn't been much production since his 6-catch, 131-yard (and a touchdown) debut. Hockenson is a TE2 for Fantasy GMs on Monday night against the Packers.

DET - Questionable tag for WR Danny Amendola

    Source: DetroitLions.com

Detroit Lions WR Danny Amendola (chest) was limited during practice Saturday, Oct. 12, and is listed as questionable for Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The game is on Monday night, so the veteran receiver has an extra day to heal. The last time he was on the field (Week 3), Amendola had just four catches for 37 yards. Fantasy GMs have better options than the Lions No. 3 receiver.

OAK - RB Josh Jacobs grading out well

    Source: Pro Football Focus

Oakland Raiders RB Josh Jacobs has earned a 85.6 season grade from Pro Football Focus, which ranks as the highest so far among the first-round picks from the 2019 NFL Draft.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Just turn on the film and you can see that Jacobs can play at a high level in the pros. As his rookie season continues, we could see him used more as a receiver out of the backfield. Jacobs is a solid RB2 for Fantasy GMs on a weekly basis.

WAS - TE Jordan Reed placed on IR

    Source: Redskins.com

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (concussion) on Saturday, Oct. 12, was placed on the Reserve/Injured list with a concussion. In a corresponding move, S Jeremy Reaves was activated from the practice squad.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Reed has a chance to return later in the year but there may not be much of a reason to with the team in a massive rebuilding mode. With Vernon Davis (concussion) banged up and missing the game against the Dolphins in Week 6, Washington turns to Jeremy Sprinkle at the tight end position.

GB - WR Davante Adams ruled out Week 6

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams (toe) on Saturday, Oct. 12, was ruled out of the team's Week 6 game against the Detroit Lions.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Packers play on Monday night and Adams turf toe injury is forcing him to miss another game. There's an opportunity for Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Geronimo Allison. We'll also see Jake Kumerow when the team goes to three-wide receiver sets.

NYG - QB Daniel Jones vows to improve

    Source: SNY - Corey Herssch

New York Giants QB Daniel Jones refused to offer any excuses after completing 15-of-31 passes for 161 yards and three interceptions in a 35-14 loss to the New England Patriots on Thursday, Oct. 10. 'The biggest thing for me is to prevent making a mistake twice,' Jones said. 'I don't think the fact that I'm young or the fact I haven't played as much isn't an excuse. I'm not going to use that to help myself feel better. They're still really bad mistakes, and things I can't afford to do. I need to be able to learn from those and prevent them from happening again.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jones looked like a rookie against the Patriots on Thursday night. It will greatly help the young quarterback when the weapons around him are healthy. Fantasy GMs are only interested in Jones from a dynasty perspective.

CIN - WR A.J. Green targeting Week 7 return

Source: The Athletic - Jay Morrison

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (ankle) sprinted on Wednesday, Oct. 9, which was the first time he was able to do that since getting injured. Green has already been ruled out for Week 6, but he's hoping to return for Week 7, according to The Athletic's Jay Morrison.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Green is getting closer to a return, but he may not be closer to the contract extension he wants. He's set to be a free agent in 2020 and there's no word about the Bengals working on a new deal. When Green returns, it should help QB Andy Dalton and even open things up for Tyler Boyd who would move to the No. 2 wide receiver position.

    Monday Update

TEN - QB Marcus Mariota replaced in second half

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Tennessee Titans QB Marcus Mariota was lifted late in the third quarter of the Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos after going 7-of-18 for 63 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions. QB Ryan Tannehill entered in his place.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mariota has been a limiting factor for the Titans offense despite numerous excuses for him and investments around him. It's unclear whether the team is throwing in the towel, but if they do stick with Tannehill, he'll face the Chargers next week.

MIN - WR Stefon Diggs has monster game

    Source: NFL.com

Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs caught seven passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 6. He was targeted 11 times during the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Diggs made up for many disappointing weeks in one afternoon. Hopefully, you took a chance on him because of the Eagles poor pass defense. He'll have a tougher matchup against the Lions corners next week, but will feel like a much better start than he did going into this week.

MIA - QB Ryan Fitzpatrick posts 132 yards, TD

    Source: ESPN

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 12-of-18 passes for 132 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions off the bench in Week 6 against the Washington Redskins.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fitzpatrick almost did enough to come back and win and ruin the #1 draft pick for the Dolphins. If the Week 7 starter is based on performance, Fitzpatrick should be in against his old Buffalo team.

WAS - WR Terry McLaurin goes for 100 yards, two TDs

    Source: ESPN

Washington Redskins WR Terry McLaurin registered four receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns in Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Case Keenum's return and Xavien Howard being inactive combined to create a big day for McLaurin. Washington has a tough matchup against the 49ers next week, but McLaurin should be a WR3/Flex consideration as long as Keenum is starting.

NYJ - QB Sam Darnold throws for 338 yards in return

    Source: ESPN

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold completed 23-of-32 passes for 338 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in his return in Week 6 against the Dallas Cowboys.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Darnold made a triumphant return from his time off with mono and looked sharp leading the Jets to a dramatic win over Dallas.

SF - TE George Kittle tops 100 yards

    Source: ESPN.com

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle caught all eight of his targets for 103 yards in a 20-7 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kittle came into the game with some questions but delivered with great efficiency turning all eight of his targets into receptions.

DAL - RB Ezekiel Elliott goes over 100 yards

    Source: ESPN

Dallas Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott rushed 28 times for 105 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the New York Jets and he added five grabs for 47 yards on six targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Elliott ground it out against the Jets and was also a factor through the air.

HOU - RB Carlos Hyde runs for 116 yards, score

    Source: ESPN

Houston Texans RB Carlos Hyde rushed 26 times for 116 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs and he added a 14-yard reception on his only target.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Chiefs run defense is the achilles heel and for the third straight week a workhorse back wore them down in the second half. Hyde will face the Colts next week coming off of his best game of the year and Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman will run at a weary Chiefs defense on Thursday.

BAL - TE Mark Andrews flirts with century mark

    Source: ESPN

Baltimore Ravens TE Mark Andrews registered six receptions for 99 yards on eight targets in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals. No other Baltimore receiver had more than three receptions.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Andrews was the main man in the pass offense with Marquise Brown sidelined. He'll be a very strong play against the Seahawks next week.

BAL - QB Lamar Jackson rumbles for 152 yards, TD

    Source: MMQB - Albert Breer

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson completed 21-of-33 passes for 236 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but he had 19 runs for 152 yards and a score. He became the first player in the Super Bowl era to throw for 200 yards and run for 150 yards in the same game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jackson was unstoppable as a runner and looks more aggressive than ever in that aspect of his game. His floor and ceiling are as high as any fantasy quarterback because of it. He might be the most valuable fantasy quarterback heading into a matchup at Seattle.

DEN - WR Emmanuel Sanders suffers knee injury

    Source: DenverBroncos.com - Patrick Smyth

Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders (knee) suffered a knee injury during the Week 6 game and will not return.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Courtland Sutton is the clear #1 receiver now. Sanders is unlikely to be ready for the Thursday night game against the Chiefs. Rookie Juwann Winfree should be active for the game in his stead.

CIN - WR Auden Tate leads way again

    Source: ESPN

Cincinnati Bengals WR Auden Tate finished with five catches for 91 yards on 12 targets in Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens, leading the team in receiving for the third time in the past four games.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Tate was making catches in tight coverage and has proven that he belongs on an NFL field. He'll still be a starter when AJ Green returns and projects as a long term starter if the team lets Green walk in free agency this offseason.

CLE - TE Ricky Seals-Jones finds end zone

    Source: ESPN

Cleveland Browns TE Ricky Seals-Jones successfully converted three of his six targets for 47 yards and a touchdown in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Seals-Jones will be a viable desperation play while David Njoku is out, but he can't help fantasy teams while he's on his bye next week.

CLE - WR Odell Beckham Jr. hits triple digits

    Source: ESPN

Cleveland Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. posted six receptions for 101 yards on 11 targets in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Beckham had a few splash plays and reminded us how high his skill level is, but he wasn't able to break through enough to get the Browns over the hump for the win. He's a boom/bust WR1 heading into his bye.

PHI - Five receptions for TE Dallas Goedert

    Source: NFL.com

Philadelphia Eagles TE Dallas Goedert caught five passes for 48 yards against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. He was targeted eight times during the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Goedert is at least in the desperation play zone now with a high target volume in a play from behind game script. He mostly remains on our radar because of his Zach Ertz injury upside.

PHI - WR Alshon Jeffery catches 10 passes

    Source: NFL.com

Philadelphia Eagles WR Alshon Jeffery caught 10 passes for 76 yards and one touchdown against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. He was targeted 12 times during the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Jeffery is no longer a downfield threat, but he racked up short catches in the comeback effort at Minnesota. He'll be a solid WR3/Flex against Dallas next week.

SEA - QB Russell Wilson just misses 300 yards

    Source: ESPN

Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson completed 23-of-33 passes for 295 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions in Week 6 against the Cleveland Browns while running for 31 yards and a score.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wilson brought the Seahawks back from a deficit and overcame the loss of Will Dissly. He is a top five fantasy quarterback right now and a very strong DFS option at home against the Ravens next week.

PHI - QB Carson Wentz surpasses 300-yard mark

    Source: NFL.com

Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz went 26-for-40 for 306 yards, two touchdowns and one interception against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6. He also rushed for 23 yards on two carries.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wentz did the best he could in a game that forced the Eagles to abandon the run. He needs Desean Jackson to flourish against good defenses. The Cowboys defense has been inconsistent and they are up next week. Jackson could return next week.

JAX - QB Gardner Minshew struggles

    Source: NFL.com

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Gardner Minshew went 14-for-29 for 163 yards, zero touchdowns and one interception against the New Orleans Saints in Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Saints defense is for real and it doesn't have any obvious weakness. Minshew was under pressure and the secondary didn't give him anything that was too easy. He'll have a much better matchup and be back in streamer consideration against Cincinnati next week.

NO - RB Latavius Murray posts 79 total yards

    Source: NFL.com

New Orleans Saints RB Latavius Murray rushed for 44 yards on eight carries against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. He also caught three passes for 35 yards during the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Murray had a long catch and run touchdown called back by penalty and looked swift and powerful all afternoon. He might have a larger role going forward with Alvin Kamara nursing an ankle injury.

WAS - RB Adrian Peterson hits the century mark

    Source: ESPN

Washington Redskins RB Adrian Peterson rushed 23 times for 118 yards in Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins and he added two grabs for 18 yards on his two targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This game should be his high water mark on the year. We'll continue to start any running back against Miami, with Devin Singletary getting healthy just in time for the matchup next week, while Peterson gets the stout 49ers run defense.

NO - RB Alvin Kamara involved in run, pass game

    Source: NFL.com

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed for 31 yards on 11 carries against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6. He also caught seven passes for 35 yards during the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kamara was contained by a high effort Jaguars defense, but his PPR result was still acceptable, albeit a floor game. Next week against the Bears should also be a long afternoon and Latavius Murray looked good. Kamara came in questionable with an ankle injury, so perhaps the team should go to a more even split over the next two weeks before the bye.

NO - QB Teddy Bridgewater throws for 240 yards

    Source: NFL.com

New Orleans Saints QB Teddy Bridgewater went 24-for-36 for 240 yards and one touchdown against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bridgewater was safe with his decisions and made an excellent throw above the rim to Cook to account for the game's only touchdown. He has been better than the Saints could have hoped in relief of Drew Brees and will start again next week in a tough matchup at Chicago.

WAS - RB Chris Thompson injures foot

    Source: Redskins.com

Washington Redskins RB Chris Thompson (foot) suffered a foot injury during the Week 6 game and is considered questionable to return.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thompson wasn't his normal reliable PPR play because of the injury and the team being able to establish the run while playing with a lead. Once Thompson gets hurt, he's generally not trustworthy. He can be dropped in short bench leagues.

The billionaire owner wanted the tax payers to pay for his new stadium and the vote didn't pass, then they bailed. They wanted to go to LA for a longtime as it immediately increased the value of the franchise going to a bigger media market. They are getting exactly what they deserve but i do feel bad for the players, it was not their choice.

Pats suspend Michael Bennett for conduct detrimental

The New England Patriots will be without veteran defensive lineman Michael Bennett for their Monday night game against the New York Jets.
The Patriots have suspended Bennett for one week for conduct detrimental to the team, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Giardi report.
He was not at practice Tuesday, per Rapoport and Giardi.
Bennett issued the following statement to ESPN's Jordan Schultz regarding the one-week ban:
"On Friday, I had a philosophical disagreement with my position coach that has led to my suspension. I apologize to my teammates for any distraction this may have caused."
He played 11 snaps in last week's win over the Giants, and just 14 during Week 5 versus the Redskins.
Over six games in New England, Bennett's made one start and has 2.5 sacks.

It never made an ounce of sense for the Chargers to go to LA(other than the team value increasing). The Raiders were in LA all those years and are in the same division. Naturally, LA has a lot of Raiders fans who happen to hate the Chargers. There's also a regional beef between SD/LA. Fact is, LA never wanted the Chargers and now most of the SD fans are alienated so now noone wants them. The owners royally fukked themselves and I'm enjoying it in some ways they were always some of the worst owners in all of sports. I still am attached and root for the players but the owners can burn in hell and i'll never spend a penny on any tickets, gear etc.

How the NFL allowed the move to happen given all the history is beyond me. Now the Chargers also have a massive competitive disadvantage with no home field advantage. In fact, many times the opposing fans outnumber the "home" fans so home games can actually be away games.
