NFL Player News - Week 10

    Courtesy of Footballguys.com

CIN - No surgery for WR A.J. Green

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green (foot) will not need surgery on his injured foot, but he will miss at least two games before his foot is re-evaluated to determine when he can play again, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No surgery is great news for Green...but Fantasy GMs are still bummed he's going to miss a couple of games. We should see quite the increase in targets for Tyler Boyd while Green is out of action.

WAS - Season over for WR Paul Richardson

    Source: Redskins.com

Washington Redskins WR Paul Richardson (shoulder) will miss the remainder of the season with an injury to his AC joint, according to head coach Jay Gruden.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Dating back to his days at the University of Colorado, Richardson has been a gifted but oft-injured player. Washington added him in free agency earlier this year but Richardson caught just 20 passes for 262 yards and two touchdowns in seven games. Maurice Harris looks to have a larger role with Richardson done for the season.

    PIT - Le'Veon Bell remains a no-show

    Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell has not reestablished contact with the team as of Monday, Nov. 5 - leaving him eight days to report before he becomes ineligible to play for the remainder of the 2018 season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Who in the world knows what Bell is going to do. He was supposed to report weeks ago according to some reports and that is long in the past. Now, he's got to report over the next week or so in order to earn an accrued season and hit free agency in 2019. Stay tuned.

JAX - RB Leonard Fournette practicing

    Source: ESPN.com - Michael DiRocco

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) was a full participant in practice Monday, Nov. 5.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The plan was to get Fournette back after the Week 9 bye and his practice status on Monday reflects that all is going according to plan. He's appeared in only two games this season and has 20 carries for just 71 yards on the ground. If he's able to play against the Colts, Fournette has RB1 upside but obviously carries an injury risk.

SEA - RB Chris Carson day-to-day

Source: The Seattle Times - Bob Condotta

Seattle Seahawks RB Chris Carson (hip) is considered day-to-day because of his hip injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mike Davis could get the start this week against the Rams with Carson not able to finish the game in Week 9. The Seahawks should be cautious with Carson to avoid getting stuck in this pattern.

CAR - TE Greg Olsen a limited participant

Source: Charlotte Observer - Jourdan Rodrigue

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen (foot) was limited during the team's walkthrough Monday, Nov. 5.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Olsen has been a strong play in recent weeks. There's no reason to leave him out of your top 6-8 tight end plays this week.

CAR - WR Torrey Smith misses practice

Source: Charlotte Observer - Jourdan Rodrigue

Carolina Panthers WR Torrey Smith (knee) did not participate in the team's walkthrough Monday, Nov. 5.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It doesn't look like Smith is going to be ready for Thursday night. Curtis Samuel and DJ Moore could hit in Week 10 as boom/bust WR3/Flex plays.

NFL - QB Sam Bradford officially a free agent

    Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates

Free-agent QB Sam Bradford (Cardinals) cleared waivers Monday, Nov. 5, and is officially a free agent, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No surprise here. Bradford's immense salary and history of knee problems prevented anyone from putting a waiver claim in on him. He'll be hard pressed to find work in the league again this season and maybe even after that.

DET - WR Brandon Marshall worked out

    Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates

Free-agent WR Brandon Marshall (Seahawks) worked out for the Detroit Lions Monday, Nov. 5, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Lions are just updating their emergency list here. They traded away Golden Tate (Eagles) last week and might be looking for some veteran depth at the position. They're pretty inexperienced behind starters Kenny Golladay and Marvin Jones Jr.

GB - WR Geronimo Allison could go to IR

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (core) is expected to undergo surgery for a core muscle injury after consulting a specialist, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The recovery period is around six weeks, making Allisson a candidate to be placed on the Reserve/Injured list. Grab rookie Marquez Valdes-Scantling off the waiver wire if you can.

BUF - QB Derek Anderson set to start?

    Source: ESPN.com - Mike Rodak

Buffalo Bills QB Derek Anderson (concussion) will start in Week 10 if he clears the concussion protocol and if QB Josh Allen (elbow) is not ready to start.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No surprise here. Nathan Peterman does little to help the team win, and in fact his interceptions are becoming commonplace. We think Anderson starts (so long as he is healthy) until Allen is back.

BAL - QB Joe Flacco won't be benched

    Source: ESPN.com - Jamison Hensley

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco will remain the starting quarterback despite QB Lamar Jackson playing well, according to head coach John Harbaugh.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Baltimore sits at 4-5 after nine games. They've lost three in a row and their offense has been sputtering. Flacco is the starter for now but we think there's a possibility Jackson could get a late start or two (think around the fantasy playoffs) if the team falls out of contention in the AFC playoff picture.

BAL - RB Kenneth Dixon yet to receive league clearance

Source: The Athletic - Jeff Zrebiec

Baltimore Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon (knee) is 'having issues behind our coaches control,' according to head coach John Harbaugh, who added the team has to wait for the league to clear him to practice and he has yet to receive clearance.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is a mysterious situation to monitor if you're a Ravens fan. As a Fantasy GM, you've got no interest in Dixon unless you play in crazy deep dynasty leagues. The Ravens traded for Ty Montgomery last week and he'll start getting mixed into the offense in the near future.

DAL - Dallas talking WR Amari Cooper extension

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Charean Williams

Dallas Cowboys WR Amari Cooper and the Cowboys have already discussed a contract extension. Executive vice president Stephen Jones said he ultimately believes an extension will be achieved. 'We feel like he was worth the No. 1 [draft pick], and I think part of making it worth it is that we eventually sign him to an extension.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A first-round pick in 2015 for the Raiders, Cooper is set to play on his fifth-year option in 2019 and will be a free agent in 2020. The Cowboys gave up quite a bit for the uneven production we've seen from Cooper. They'll work to get him extended and hopefully Cooper starts producing like he did earlier in his career.

NFL - RB Chris Johnson ready to walk away

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Darin Gantt

Free-agent RB Chris Johnson announced his retirement from the NFL on Monday, Nov. 5.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

CJ2K will always be remembered fondly by Fantasy GMs who had him when he was at his best. Johnson, a first-round pick in 2008 out of East Carolina, had the best season of his career in 2009 when he had 12 100-yard games and rushed for 2,006 yards on the season. He had six 1,000-yard rushing seasons during his career and was one of the fastest running backs to ever play the game. Johnson held the Scouting Combine record with a 4.24 40-yard dash until John Ross (4.22) beat that mark in 2017.

MIN - WR Adam Thielen slowed by calf injury in Week 9

Source: Minneapolis Star Tribune - Ben Goessling

Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen (calf) dealt with a calf injury all week and was heating it on the sideline between series during the team's win against the Detroit Lions, according to FOX Sports sideline reporter Jen Hale.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

For the first time this year, Thielen was held to under 100-yards receiving on the day. He shared an NFL record with eight 100-yard receiving games to begin the season, tying the mark of Calvin Johnson. Thielen has a bye week to get healthy before the Vikings get back in action against the Bears in Week 11.

ARI - WR Kendall Wright returns to Arizona

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

Free-agent WR Kendall Wright (Cardinals) signed an undisclosed contract with the Arizona Cardinals on Monday, Nov. 5.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Wright was signed to the Cardinals roster back in early October but barely lasted over a week with the team before getting released. Now he's back, and the Cardinals could use depth at the WR position...but Wright is not any sort of fantasy option at this point of his career.

HOU - D'Onta Foreman return date still up in air

    Source: HoustonTexans.com - Deepi Sidhu

Houston Texans RB D'Onta Foreman (Achilles') is 'trending upwards,' but the team is still unsure when it plans to activate him off the Physically Unable to Perform list.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

As soon as he starts practicing again, the Texans will have a three-week window to decide whether or not to activate him. The power back could help the Texans offense, but Lamar Miller and Alfred Blue are getting the job done (for the most part) now. There's no need to rush Foreman back, and he'd be a deep bench stash only if he does get on the field in 2018.

IND - RB Robert Turbin back at practice

    Source: IndySportsCentral.com - Mike Chappell

Indianapolis Colts RB Robert Turbin (shoulder) participated in practice Monday, Nov. 5.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Colts had a bye in Week 9 and they get to face the Jaguars at home in Week 10. So long as Marlon Mack is healhty, Turbin doesn't have much fantasy value if he's on the gameday roster.

IND - RB Marlon Mack limited to side work Monday

    Source: IndySportsCentral.com - Mike Chappell

Indianapolis Colts RB Marlon Mack (undisclosed) was spotted working on the side with trainers Monday, Nov. 5.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

An ankle injury limited Mack's practice availability in Week 8. The Colts had a bye in Week 9 and are back on the field this week against the Jaguars in Week 10. They should limit Mack's availability once again, and we'll get a status update on their lead back when Wednesday's practice report is released.

LT you think Nick Chubb is going to start breaking out? He had big day Sunday but I am thinking he might bet even better. Should he be a sure starter for me from now on?

He is certainly the lead back and I like him, but it is CLEVELAND after all so who knows, especially with defenses keying on him.

    Wednesday Update

PIT - Le'Veon Bell may not report after all?

    Source: 1 No Source

Updating previous reports, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell is reportedly contemplating whether or not he will show up by the Nov. 13 franchise tag deadline based on newly learned information from the collective bargaining agreement that would allow him to be deemed a third-year franchise player in 2019 rather than revert to the second year, even if he doesn't report.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The latest report in the Bell saga reminds us nobody knows anything. At this point, it seems like anything is possible. Stay tuned.

TEN - WR Tajae Sharpe hurt but should play

    Source: TitanInsider.com - Terry McCormick

Tennessee Titans WR Tajae Sharpe (undisclosed) 'tweaked something' during a pre-game warmup in Week 9, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Only dynasty GMs should be monitoring Sharpe's progress. Vrabel said Sharpe was close to full health and expects him to be able to play this week.

PIT - QB Ben Roethlisberger misses practice

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (finger, coaches' decision) was held out of practice Tuesday, Nov. 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Steelers play on Thursday night at home against the Carolina Panthers. Giving Roethlisberger as much rest as possible is always a great idea. He should play in Week 10 and is a QB1 for Fantasy GMs anytime he's out there.

PIT - WR Antonio Brown limited Tuesday

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (coaches' decision) was limited in practice Tuesday, Nov. 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Steelers have a short week as they play against the Panthers on Thursday night. They'll limit Brown on Tuesday and we think he might actually be limited Wednesday too. Either way, Brown is on track to play and locked into Fantasy GMs lineups as a WR1.

GB - WR Geronimo Allison goes to IR

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers WR Geronimo Allison (core) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Nov. 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

In five games this year, Allison flashed some potential with 20 catches for 303 yards and two touchdowns. He'll now undergo core surgery and wait to see what his future holds with the team as he's an ERFA in 2019. The Packers move forward with rookie Marquez Valdes-Scantling getting the largest boost with Allison on IR.

SF - Nick Mullens starting Week 10

Source: NBC Sports Bay Area - Matt Maiocco

San Francisco 49ers QB Nick Mullens was informed by head coach Kyle Shanahan that he will remain the starter this week.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That makes two weeks in a row for Mullens as the team's starter. Last time out, Mullens had three touchdown passes and caused quite a stir in the fantasy community. This week we can recommend Mullens as a QB2 or streaming option. The 49ers play on Monday night against the Giants.

CAR - TE Greg Olsen still limited

    Source: Panthers.com

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen (foot) was limited in practice Tuesday, Nov. 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Olsen is going to be limited all season long in practice with this foot injury. He'll especially be limited this week in practice as the Panthers have a short week. They travel to play the Steelers on the road this Thursday night in Week 10.

DET - Detroit brings back RB Zach Zenner

Source: NFL Network - Andrew Siciliano

Free-agent RB Zach Zenner (Lions) was re-signed by the Detroit Lions Tuesday, Nov. 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Zenner had a back injury that prevented him from making the 53-man roster for the Lions earlier this season. He'll bring some value to special teams but shouldn't touch the ball much on offense.

DET - Detroit adds WR Bruce Ellington

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Free-agent WR Bruce Ellington (Texans) was signed to an undisclosed deal by the Detroit Lions Tuesday, Nov. 6. RB Ameer Abdullah was waived in a corresponding move.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Lions are looking for help at the no3 wide receiver position. They traded away Golden Tate (Eagles) last week and didn't get much production from T.J. Jones on Sunday. We'll see if Ellington, coming off a career high 29 catches for the Texans in 2017, can work his way into the mix behind starters Marvin Jones Jr. and Kenny Golladay.

NO - WR Michael Thomas excelling as top target

    Source: Pro Football Focus

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas has been targeted by QB Drew Brees on 29.6 percent of his passing attempts this season entering Week 10, the highest target percentage any receiver Brees has thrown to since arriving in New Orleans in 2006.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thomas has caught 88.6 percent of his targets, ranking first among receivers with at least 15 targets this season. Fantasy GMs are locking him every week.

NE - RB Sony Michel likely to return Week 10

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel (knee) is likely to return in Week 10, a source said Monday, Nov. 5.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That means Cordarrelle Patterson will get less work in the backfield as a running back. Michel will first need a good week of practice participation. Keep an eye on his status as the Patriots prepare for a road game to play the Titans in week 10.

NYG - Kyle Lauletta avoids suspension

    Source: Giants.com

New York Giants QB Kyle Lauletta will not be suspended for his Oct. 30 arrest in a traffic incident, head coach Pat Shurmur said Tuesday, Nov. 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Shurmur said he has spoken to Lauletta numerous times since the event, and the quarterback is facing 'internal consequences.'

NYG - QB Eli Manning remains N.Y. starter

Source: New York Post - Paul Schwartz

New York Giants QB Eli Manning will start in Week 10 against the San Francisco 49ers, head coach Pat Shurmur said Tuesday, Nov. 6.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Shurmur insisted that Manning was going to start in Week 10...but beyond that his future remains unclear. The Giants will likely be moving on from Manning this offseason so at some point they'll want to see what they have in rookie Kyle Lauletta.

DAL - QB Dak Prescott endorsed by Jerry Jones

Source: Fort Worth Star-Telegram - Clarence E. Hill Jr.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was endorsed as the quarterback by owner Jerry Jones. '(Prescott) is young, and he is going to get extended,' Jones said.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ah, the dreaded vote of confidence. The Cowboys have to support Prescott because they don't have any other option to turn to. They need to build confidence with their young starter and get back on the winning track. That might have to happen with a different coaching staff in 2019.

NE - QB Tom Brady intends to play in 2022

Source: NBC Sports - Peter King

New England Patriots QB Tom Brady told NBCSports's Peter King after the game Sunday, Nov. 4, he fully intends to be playing in 2022, which is the next time he would face the Green Bay Packers in the regular season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That sounds a bit extreme, but with Brady you just never know. Brady is 41-years old right now and in the 2022 season he would be 45 years old. The Patriots are in another Super Bowl window and the Packers playoff chances are up in the air this season. A Brady vs Rodgers matchup would be great in the Super Bowl but it doesn't seem like that's a possibility based on the way Green Bay is playing.

MIA - QB Ryan Tannehill injury update

    Source: ESPN.com - Cameron Wolfe

Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) has been 'inconsistent' throwing with trainers, according to head coach Adam Gase, who added that some throws have been good while others he feels discomfort.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The hope was to get him back after the bye week but now that doesn't sound like a guarantee either. In the meantime, the Dolphins can always continue rolling out Brock Osweiler as their starter while Tannehill remains out.

    Thursday Update

NO - WR Dez Bryant agrees with Saints

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Free-agent WR Dez Bryant (Cowboys) agreed to a one-year deal with the New Orleans Saints Wednesday, Nov. 7. Financial terms weren't disclosed.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bryant has been out of action all season long as he was looking for the right landing spot. He gets that with a great opportunity in New Orleans. His signing is bad news for rookie Tre'Quan Smith. We should see Smith's targets go down when Bryant is up to speed. Bryant could produce like a WR3 or flex option with upside for Fantasy GMs.

NYJ - QB Sam Darnold ruled out

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

Updating a previous report, New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (foot) is dealing with a 'significant' foot sprain and will not play this week, according to sources.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It's said to be 'significant' but with a couple of weeks off we could see Darnold back in action. Josh McCown is the team's starter with Darnold out.

SEA - WR Doug Baldwin limited Wednesday

    Source: Seahawks.com

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (groin) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This is a new issue for Baldwin. He's dealt with knee problems this year but this groin injury is something to monitor. Check back to make sure he's at least limited on Friday.

OAK - RB Doug Martin a limited participant

    Source: Raiders.com

Oakland Raiders RB Doug Martin (hip) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Martin is the lead back for the Raiders and has RB2 or flex appeal in Week 10 against the Chargers.

TB - RB Peyton Barber limited Wednesday

    Source: NFLCommunications.com

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Peyton Barber (ankle) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

At home against Washington this week, Barber has flex appeal for Fantasy GMs. Make sure he practices later in the week as he deals with this ankle injury.

WAS - Limited practice for TE Jordan Reed

    Source: NFLCommunications.com

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (back) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

After getting targeted 12 times in Week 8, Reed only saw six targets come his way last week. It seems like Alex Smith preferred going after Vernon Davis instead of Reed. With Paul Richardson done for the year, Washington could distribute targets differently this week on the road against the Buccaneers. Reed is still a TE1 for Fantasy GMs.

WAS - RB Adrian Peterson listed as limited

    Source: NFLCommunications.com

Washington Redskins RB Adrian Peterson (shoulder) was limited during practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Peterson has been limited with this shoulder injury for some time. He's a low-end RB1 against the Buccaneers in Week 10.

NE - RB Sony Michel does limited work

    Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel (knee) went through a limited practice session Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Michel should be back on the field for the Patriots this week. If he does return to play against the Titans in Week 10, that means WR Cordarrelle Patterson would get less work out of the backfield as a runner.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski works on limited basis

    Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle, back) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gronkowski's status is not yet clear. Fantasy GMs are nervous about starting him...and for good reason. Check back on his status to see what he can do on Friday.

NE - WR Julian Edelman does limited work

    Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (ankle) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Check back to see what Edelman can do at Friday's practice. Against the Titans in Week 10, Edelman is a WR2 for Fantasy GMs.

KC - WR Tyreek Hill logs full practice

Source: The Kansas City Star - Brooke Pryor

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (groin) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Hill should go off against the Cardinals this week. This full participation on Wednesday shows that he's on track to play.

CIN - RB Giovani Bernard limited in practice

    Source: Bengals.com

Cincinnati Bengals RB Giovani Bernard (knee) was listed as a limited participant in practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Bengals might get Bernard involved more as a receiver if he can play in Week 10. They're down WR A.J. Green for quite some time and they'll be searching for other pass-catching options. Bernard might be worth a 'what the heck' flex against the Saints.

NO - WR Cameron Meredith misses practice

    Source: NewOrleansSaints.com

New Orleans Saints WR Cameron Meredith (knee) did not practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

There's a reason why the Saints added Dez Bryant. They don't have much behind Michael Thomas other than rookie Tre'Quan Smith. Meredith has been a disappointment with the Saints this year.

JAX - Full practice for RB Leonard Fournette

    Source: Jaguars.com

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) took part in a full practice session Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fournette should be back for the Jaguars this week. That means he's in your lineup as a RB2 with upside. The Jaguars travel to play the Colts in Week 10.

MIN - Minnesota claims RB Ameer Abdullah

The Minnesota Vikings claimed RB Ameer Abdullah off waivers from the Detroit Lions Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Vikings add Abdullah and let go of Roc Thomas in a corresponding move. Abdullah failed to impress with the Lions after they took him in the second round of the 2015 NFL draft. He'll serve as a change-of-pace back and veteran depth behind Dalvin Cook and Latavius Murray.

BUF - WR Kelvin Benjamin limited Wednesday

    Source: BuffaloBills.com

Buffalo Bills WR Kelvin Benjamin (knee) was limited in practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We can't trust Benjamin as anything more than a WR5 or deep flex play in Week 10. The Bills travel to play the Jets this week and they've got Derek Anderson as their starting quarterback.

CAR - TE Greg Olsen fully practices

    Source: Steelers.com

Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen (foot) practiced fully Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

On a short week, Olsen is good to go. The tight end position is brutal this year so consider yourself fortunate to be able to start Olsen as a TE1 every week.

PIT - WR Antonio Brown puts in limited practice

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Antonio Brown (coaches' decision) practiced on a limited basis Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Steelers are getting Brown a bit of extra rest on a short week. He'll play against the Panthers on Thursday night and is a lock for any lineup.

PIT - QB Ben Roethlisberger has full practice

    Source: Steelers.com

Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger (finger) put in a full practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

He's good to go for Thursday night against the Panthers. Start him as you normally would with QB1 projections and expectations.

MIA - QB Ryan Tannehill back in two weeks?

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill (shoulder) plans to be back in action by Week 12.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Dolphins continue with Brock Osweiler as the starter while Tannehill remains out. He will sit out this week and the Dolphins have a bye next week.

KC - WR Sammy Watkins not practicing

    Source: KCChiefs.com - B.J. Kissel

Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) was not able to practice Wednesday, Nov. 7.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Keep an eye on Watkins status during the week. The Chiefs play the Cardinals in Week 10 and Watkins would certainly have plenty of fantasy value if he is out there. If not, then Chris Conley or Demarcus Robinson could produce like crazy deep 'what the heck' flex options.

PHI - RB Darren Sproles expected back

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Updating an earlier report, Philadelphia Eagles RB Darren Sproles (hamstring) is expected to return in Week 10, according to head coach Doug Pederson.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Sproles has only played in one game this year, but he looks to finally be on track to return from this hamstring injury. The veteran will likely get on the field as the primary third-down back for the Eagles and that gives him RB3 or flex value for Fantasy GMs in PPR leagues.

The NFL is a circus, how can they allow Le'Veon Bell to miss 9 weeks? They should be a clause that allows a player to decline a franchise tag and seek a better contract elsewhere instead of this madness... And the funny thing is that the players don't realize he's doing the right thing and only think of 'team' when there's no team in contract negotiations

    Friday Update

JAX - Full practice for RB Leonard Fournette

Source: The Florida Times-Union - Phillip Heilman

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette (hamstring) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fournette is on track to play this week for the first time since Week 4. Fantasy GMs should consider him a RB2 with upside this week against the Colts.

NO - WR Dez Bryant's Saints debut up in air

    Source: NFL.com - Herbie Teope

New Orleans Saints WR Dez Bryant has begun work with his new team after signing Tuesday, Nov. 6, but head coach Sean Payton declined to commit to Bryant playing in Week 10. 'We'll see,' Payton said on a media conference call Thursday, Nov. 8. 'It would be hard for me to comment not having had a practice yet. But we'll take a peek and see how he does today and tomorrow, and then we'll fill you in Sunday.'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bryant would be a boom/bust WR3/Flex if he does play, but Cameron Meredith was not getting much in the way of targets or snaps in the role and Bryant would be eased in with his conditioning and familiarity with his role unknown.

PIT - More on Le'Veon Bell situation

Source: NFL Network - Aditi Kinkhabwala and Tom Pelissero

Updating previous reports, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell would be franchise tagged at the quarterback level, around $25 million in 2019, not at the lower number he was tagged at in 2018, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. 'I've been told by both league and team sources that neither the NFL nor the Steelers have any plan to argue that the second tag should carry over, should Bell not play this year,' NFL Network's Aditi Kinkhabwala reported. 'They are all in agreement that any potential tag would be the third (or the transition).'

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It sure feels like both sides are trying to find a way out while saving face and not disrupting their plans. James Conner teams should be elated at this news although Bell is in Pittsburgh, so it's hard to say what will happen next. Conner will likely remain fantasy relevant no matter what happens with Bell.

KC - WR Tyreek Hill takes part in practice

    Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill (groin) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

A full participation for Hill is a great sign for his availability against the Cardinals in Week 10. He is a must start (of course) and could finish the week as the top wide receiver in fantasy football.

GB - QB Aaron Rodgers takes part in practice

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Rodgers played without his knee brace last week against the Patriots. He's good to go for this week's game against the Dolphins.

GB - WR Randall Cobb a limited participant

    Source: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers WR Randall Cobb (hamstring) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Cobb is likely to play against the Dolphins on Sunday but he is third in the pecking order behind Davante Adams and Marquez Valdes-Scantling. We see him as a WR4 or deep flex play in Week 10.

CLE - WR Jarvis Landry takes part in practice

    Source: ClevelandBrowns.com

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry (wrist) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Landry is good to go for this week's game against the Falcons. They'll need all the offense they can get if they want to hang with the Atlanta offense. Landry is a low-end WR2 in PPR formats most every week.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski limited Thursday

    Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle, back) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gronkowski is still limited so have another option at the ready. We'll know his status on Sunday morning as the veteran tight end is shaping up to be a game-time decision this week.

NE - RB Sony Michel listed as limited

    Source: Patriots.com

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Michel should return to the field this week for the Patriots. Make sure to check back on his status for Friday's practice. On the road against the Titans, Michel is a RB4 or deep flex option for Fantasy GMs...if he plays.

DET - RB Kerryon Johnson listed as limited

    Source: DetroitLions.com - Tim Twentyman

Detroit Lions RB Kerryon Johnson (ankle) was limited during practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Lions are giving Johnson as much rest as possible during the week. He should be able to play against the Bears and they should use him more for multiple reasons. He's only gotten more than 12 carries twice in a game this year and both times he rushed for over 100 yards. Being committed to the run could also help protect QB Matthew Stafford who was sacked 10 times last week.

IND - Limited practice for RB Marlon Mack

    Source: Colts.com

Indianapolis Colts RB Marlon Mack (foot) put in a limited practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Mack appears to be on track to play, but the fact that he isn't getting in full practices out of the bye leaves open the possibility that the Colts will have to turn to another back before the end of the season.

SF - No practice for WR Pierre Garcon

    Source: 49ers.com - Joe Fann

San Francisco 49ers WR Pierre Garcon (knee) was held out of practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Garcon was building momentum last week and Nick Mullens appeared capable of reviving his value. Hopefully this is just a rest day with an extra day of preparation before Monday night's contest with the Giants.

MIA - RB Kenyan Drake takes part in practice

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Miami Dolphins RB Kenyan Drake (shoulder) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Drake is healthy but who knows what his workload will be with the whims of Adam Gase jerking fantasy teams around week-to-week. He's a high ceiling flex play with the potential for disappointment.

MIA - WR Danny Amendola back on the field

Source: The Miami Herald - Armando Salguero

Miami Dolphins WR Danny Amendola (non-injury) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Amendola has always been known as an injury-prone player, but he has stayed healthy this year despite an increased role in the passing game. He's a high floor flex play in PPR leagues at Green Bay this week.

BUF - WR Kelvin Benjamin takes part in practice

    Source: BuffaloBills.com

Buffalo Bills WR Kelvin Benjamin (knee) fully participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Benjamin might not have Derek Anderson in this one, and Trumaine Johnson is due back for the Jets. He's a low-end desperation play.

NYJ - RB Elijah McGuire has full practice

    Source: NJ.com - Darryl Slater

New York Jets RB Elijah McGuire (foot) put in a full practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McGuire has some flex appeal this week after he looked very impressive in his return last week.

NYJ - RB Isaiah Crowell fully practices

    Source: NJ.com - Darryl Slater

New York Jets RB Isaiah Crowell (ankle) practiced fully Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Crowell is getting healthier and the offense should be more robust with Josh McCown, although the Bills are no pushover. Consider him a flex play or injury/bye RB2 this week with Elijah McGuire also coming on in the RB2 role.

NYJ - QB Sam Darnold will not start

Source: New York Daily News - Manish Mehta

New York Jets QB Sam Darnold (foot) will not start the team's Week 10 game, but head coach Todd Bowles is not ruling out the possibility of Darnold being active for the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This makes it sound more like this injury was an excuse to get him out of the line of fire. It's not an unwise strategy with Darnold appearing to be overwhelmed in recent weeks.

NYJ - WR Quincy Enunwa doesn't practice

    Source: NJ.com - Darryl Slater

New York Jets WR Quincy Enunwa (ankle) was absent from practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Enunwa could play this week and he has an upgrade at quarterback, but the lack of practice is troubling. He's only a low-end WR3/Flex in PPR leagues, and only if he gets in a full practice tomorrow.

NYJ - WR Robby Anderson still absent

    Source: NJ.com - Darryl Slater

New York Jets WR Robby Anderson (ankle) missed practiced Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Anderson is getting back the quarterback that ignited his breakout 2017 campaign, but he might not be able to harness that this week against the Bills. He could still play with a good week of practice tomorrow, but between this issue and Tre'Davious White on the other side of the line of scrimmage, Anderson won't be suitable in our lineups until after his bye next week.

CHI - WR Allen Robinson claims clean bill of health

    Source: Chicago Sun-Times - Adam L. Jahns

Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson (groin) said he's fully healthy and recovered from his nagging groin injury heading into Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Robinson will be a welcome addition to the Bears offense, but he'll likely see a lot of Darius Slay this week and the Bears offense is overflowing with viable passing game targets in a likely low volume game script.

TB - WR Mike Evans returns to practice

Source: The Athletic - Greg Auman

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans (knee) returned to practice Thursday, Nov. 8, a day after being held out.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Evans might face Josh Norman in this one, but it's a better matchup than it was three or four years ago, and we know Ryan Fitzpatrick is a bold downfield passer. Evans is a borderline WR1 this week.

WAS - RB Chris Thompson remains out

Source: The Washington Post - Kareem Copeland

Washington Redskins RB Chris Thompson (rib) missed his second straight practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thompson isn't going to play this week. Kapri Bibbs is on our desperation play list in PPR leagues in a matchup at Tampa Bay that could force Alex Smith to throw more this week.

NE - RB Rex Burkhead returns to practice

Source: The Boston Globe - Jim McBride

New England Patriots RB Rex Burkhead (neck), who remains on the Reserve/Injured list with a neck injury, participated in practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Burkhead is worth the add in deep leagues and this could throw a monkeywrench into James White and Sony Michel's value for the fantasy playoffs. It sounds like Burkhead should be ready to go in a few weeks.

KC - WR Sammy Watkins remains out of practice

    Source: Chiefs.com - B.J. Kissel

Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins (foot) will miss a second straight day of practice Thursday, Nov. 8, as he deals with a foot injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Watkins is probably not going to play this weekend with a titanic tilt against the Rams up next week and a bye after that. We'll watch the play and involvement of Chris Conley and Demarcus Robinson to see who is worth the pickup if this becomes a bigger issue for Watkins.

BUF - QB Derek Anderson working with trainers

Source: WGR Sports Radio 550 - Sal Capaccio

Buffalo Bills QB Derek Anderson (concussion) was working off to the side with team trainers during practice Thursday, Nov. 8.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Josh Allen might be closer to playing than Anderson this week. The Jets defense is probably a better play if Allen is in, but Anderson has also been generous when facing deficits.

PHI - RB Darren Sproles aggravates injury

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Philadelphia Eagles RB Darren Sproles (hamstring) aggravated his hamstring injury Wednesday, Nov. 7, and he's expected to miss Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This clarifies the Eagles backfield to an extent, but none of Josh Adams, Corey Clement, and Wendell Smallwood are more than desperation plays entering Week 10.

NO - WR Cameron Meredith to IR

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

New Orleans Saints WR Cameron Meredith (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Thursday, Nov. 8, as he is having arthroscopic surgery.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Dez Bryant should take over the slot role with Meredith on injured reserve, but he will have to score touchdowns to be relevant in fantasy leagues. The Bears reluctance to commit money to Meredith in the offseason looks wise in light of this development.

I'm so glad that I don't have Bell in any money league. It seems whoever picked him up in the draft in my leagues is near the bottom of the standings in my league and the guys who snagged James Connor off the wire are near the top.

Seahawks | Doug Baldwin on track to play
Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin (groin) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 9, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.
Footballguys view: Baldwin missed Wednesday's practice and was limited yesterday, but it looks like that was veteran rest more than reason for concern. He has a high ceiling this week with the Seahawks likely needing to open up the offense to keep up with the Rams.

Bengals | Giovani Bernard questionable for Week 10

Ravens | Joe Flacco could be sidelined with hip injury
Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (hip) suffered a hip injury in Week 9 against the Pittsburgh Steelers that has put his status 'in question' for Week 11 versus the Cincinnati Bengals.
Footballguys view: It's not 100% that Lamar Jackson would be the starter according to reports, but it is 100% that he should be picked up in all leagues. We haven't seen a quarterback with his running ability since Michael Vick and the Ravens face a lineup of weak pass defenses after the bye. The team could choose to shelve Flacco in an attempt to get a headstart on the future with the Steelers asserting control over the division in recent weeks.

Patriots | Cordarelle Patterson on track to play
New England Patriots WR Cordarrelle Patterson (neck) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 9, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

Patriots | Questionable tag for Rob Gronkowski
New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle, back) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 9, and is listed as questionable for Week 10.

Packers | Jimmy Graham practices in full
Green Bay Packers TE Jimmy Graham (knee) practiced in full on Friday, Nov. 9 and he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 10 game against the Miami Dolphins.

Patriots | Sony Michel listed as questionable
New England Patriots RB Sony Michel (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Nov. 9, and is listed as questionable for Week 10.

Cardinals | Larry Fitzgerald not on injury report
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (non-injury) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 9, and is not on the injury report for Week 10.

New Orleans Saints WR Dez Bryant (Achilles') suffered an injury in practice Friday, Nov. 9, that we acquired him to be helped off the field. Bryant is expected to undergo an MRI soon, but the team fears Bryant may have suffered an Achilles' tear.
Footballguys view: The team is usually right when they fear this kind of injury, so we can drop Bryant. His 2018 is likely over before it started. Tre'Quan Smith should be added if he was dropped on the Bryant signing news.

He will probably aggravate the injury and be lost for the season.

    (but I started him)

    Sunday Update

PIT - Le'Veon Bell unlikely to report

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell is unlikely to report by the deadline Tuesday, Nov. 13, according to multiple sources, which would make him ineligible to play for the remainder of the season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Make sure to read this for what it is - multiple sources are telling ESPN and Adam Schefter they don't expect Bell to report by Tuesday. The story in the link specifically says however Bell's camp has been silent on this. Adam Schefter is the most reliable reporter in the NFL in our opinion. But understand this is not official yet. With that said, James Conner's value has never been higher. And Le'Veon Bell's value has never been lower this year. Backup RB Jalyen Samuels would also benefit of course if Bell doesn't report on time.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski traveling with team

    Source: ESPNBoston.com - Mike Reiss

New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle, back) is traveling with the team for their Week 10 game, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The Patriots have not officially ruled Gronkowski out...yet. He is still listed as questionable to play and is not expected to be active.

SF - TE George Kittle limited Saturday

    Source: 49ers.com

Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle (chest) was limited in practice Saturday, Nov. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kittle has been limited with this chest injury all week. He'll likely play on Monday night against the Giants and is a TE1 for Fantasy GMs whenever he's on the field.

BUF - QB Josh Allen will not play

    Source: BuffaloBills.com

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen (elbow) has been ruled out of the Week 10 game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Allen is getting closer to a return but there is zero reason for the Bills to rush him back. QB Matt Barkley is expected to be the starting quarterback against the New York Jets.

SF - WR Pierre Garcon not on the field

Source: NBC Sports Bay Area - Jennifer Lee Chan

San Francisco 49ers WR Pierre Garcon (knee) is not participating in practice Saturday, Nov. 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

It looks like Garcon is going to miss the Monday night game against the Giants. Fantasy GMs were not looking forward to starting him anyway, so his absence isn't going to change many lineups out there.

WAS - WR Jamison Crowder to miss Week 10

    Source: Redskins.com

Washington Redskins WR Jamison Crowder (ankle) has been ruled out of the team's Week 10 game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Without Crowder, we'll see Maurice Harris get quite a bit of work from the slot. He's a WR3 or flex play with upside against the Buccaneers in Week 10.

NO - WR Dez Bryant to miss eight months

    Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter

New Orleans Saints WR Dez Bryant's (Achilles) MRI confirmed a torn Achilles' tendon, and he is expected to be sidelined for around eight months, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

This means Bryant will be ready by training camp next year. He signed only a one-year deal with the Saints so we'll have to see if he can generate interest next offseason on the open market...while recovering from an Achilles' injury at 30-years old.

NE - TE Rob Gronkowski not expected to play

Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport

Updating previous reports, New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (ankle, back) is not expected to play in the team's Week 10 game, according to a source.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Against the Titans on Sunday we'll likely see the Patriots without Gronkowski again. They have a bye in Week 11, so that would give Gronkowski an extra bit of rest if he doesn't play this week. He did travel with the team and hasn't officially been ruled out but all signs indicate he's not going to play.

NE - RB Sony Michel expected to play

Source: CBSSports.com - Jason La Canfora

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel (knee) is expected to be available to play in the Week 10 game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

That was the expected outcome this week. After missing the game against the Packers, Michel should be ready to go against the Titans on Sunday. He's a RB3 or flex option for Fantasy GMs in PPR leagues.

KC - WR Sammy Watkins' current injury unrelated to previous one

    Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio

Updating a previous report, Kansas City Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins' (foot) current injury is unrelated to the previous foot problem which bothered him earlier in his career, according to head coach Andy Reid.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Good news for the Chiefs here. Watkins battled a stress fracture in his foot during the 2015 season before undergoing a pair of surgeries to correct the condition the following year.

PHI - RB Darren Sproles could return this season

    Source: NJ.com - Mike Kaye

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson is confident that RB Darren Sproles (hamstring) will be able to return to action this season.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

We're sad that Sproles is going to be out this week after looking like he was going to return for the first time since Week 1 this season. He was considered to be at 100 percent entering the week before suffering a setback during practice Wednesday, Oct. 7.

NYJ - QB Josh McCown to face Buffalo

    Source: SNY - Ralph Vacchiano

New York Jets QB Josh McCown will start Week 10's game against the Buffalo Bills.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

No surprise here. Rookie Sam Darnold has a foot injury that needs to get some rest in order to heal up. The Jets may have Darnold as McCown's backup this week as they only have two active quarterbacks on the roster. They do have Davis Webb on their practice squad but there's no word if they'd activate him to play as a backup or not.

    Monday Update

JAX - Three carries for RB T.J. Yeldon

    Source: ESPN.com

Jacksonville Jaguars RB T.J. Yeldon rushed three times for 12 yards and caught five passes for 51 yards in a 29-26 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Yeldon is still rosterable as a PPR emergency depth back with Leonard Fournette injury upside.

JAX - RB Leonard Fournette scores twice

    Source: ESPN.com

Jacksonville Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette rushed 24 times for 53 yards and a touchdown and caught five passes for 56 yards and another score in a 29-26 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Fournette's wasn't efficient as a runner, mostly because of the Colts effort on defense. He showed good burst and strength and should be treated as a low RB1 against Pittsburgh next week.

TEN - WR Corey Davis has big performance

    Source: 1 No Source

Tennessee Titans WR Corey Davis posted seven receptions for 125 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in the Week 10 game against the New England Patriots.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Davis made multiple impressive plays and had his second game this year that displayed his ceiling as a #1 receiver. He'll be tough to sit against the Colts corners next week, and might get hot down the stretch.

JAX - QB Blake Bortles tops 300 yards

    Source: ESPN.com

Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles completed 26 of his 38 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns in a 29-26 loss to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Bortles is pulling us back into considering him as a streamer with this performance. He benefited from a Donte Moncrief big play and Leonard Fournette's contributions as a receiver. He has some superflex/QB2 appeal against the Steelers next week.

NE - WR Josh Gordon targeted 12 times

    Source: 1 No Source

New England Patriots WR Josh Gordon hauled in four receptions for 81 yards on 12 targets in the Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Gordon had a big gain early but couldn't stay hot in the loss. He's still a high ceiling WR2 after the bye, but he needs this offense to be better to realize his considerable potential.

NE - WR Julian Edelman hits century mark

    Source: 1 No Source

New England Patriots WR Julian Edelman (ankle) registered nine receptions for 104 yards on 12 targets in the Week 10 game against the Tennessee Titans, but he left the game late with an ankle injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Edelman was the best part of the Patriots offense, but his status coming out of the bye could be questionable. Chris Hogan might have value yet this season.

NE - RB Sony Michel doesn't do much

    Source: 1 No Source

New England Patriots RB Sony Michel rushed 11 times for a team-best 31 yards in Week 10 against the Tennessee Titans and he didn't have any catches or targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Michel was underwhelming as the Patriots had trouble sustaining drives and creating goal line opportunities. He's still an RB2 going in the bye, but we'll need to see more soon to trust him in the fantasy playoffs.

MIA - WR DeVante Parker bangs up shoulder

    Source: MiamiDolphins.com

Miami Dolphins WR DeVante Parker (shoulder) left the Week 10 game against the Green Bay Packers due to a shoulder injury.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Parker was coming on in this game but Brock Osweiler missed him open downfield twice. He was seen with his arm in a sling, so even with a bye up next week it seems like he might not be worth carrying going forward.

LAR - WR Cooper Kupp suffers knee injury

Source: NFL Network - Albert Breer

Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp (knee) left the Week 10 game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a non-contact knee injury. He was assisted by a member of the training staff to the sideline, then to the locker room.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Kupp's injury looked serious. It seems almost impossible that he would be back for next week's game and it would be a win if he isn't out for the season. Gerald Everett, Tyler Higbee and Josh Reynolds all have some waiver wire appeal now.

CHI - Anthony Miller shines in home victory

    Source: 1 No Source

Chicago Bears WR Anthony Miller registered five receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown on six targets in the Week 10 win against the Detroit Lions.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

The rookie has become an integral part of the pass offense even with the return of Allen Robinson. He'll have a better matchup than Robinson against the Vikings next week and now deserves WR3/Flex consideration.

CHI - WR Allen Robinson has big afternoon

    Source: 1 No Source

Chicago Bears WR Allen Robinson posted six receptions for 133 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets in Week 10 against the Detroit Lions.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Robinson is obviously healthy and in much better position to regain his peak form than he was when the Bears offense was struggling early. He'll see Xavier Rhodes next week and be a boom/bust WR3/Flex.

NYJ - QB Josh McCown struggles in Week 10

    Source: NFL.com

New York Jets QB Josh McCown went 17-for-34 for 135 yards, zero touchdowns and two interceptions against the Buffalo Bills in Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCown was no improvement from Sam Darnold which means he was a disaster. The Jets offense is in dire straits no matter who starts after the bye next week.

BUF - Two touchdowns for RB LeSean McCoy

    Source: NFL.com

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries against the New York Jets in Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

McCoy looked like a young back running the ball. Who knows if he can look like this again after the bye, but it's clear that the Bills are still going to have those occasional strong performances and maybe even fuel a big day for McCoy. He's worth rostering through the bye to see if this can continue.

CLE - WR Jarvis Landry quiet in Week 10

    Source: NFL.com

Cleveland Browns WR Jarvis Landry caught two passes for 22 yards against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Landry is a victim of the Browns spreading the ball around. He's not looking like a trustworthy start heading into the bye with the offense making better use of the variety of talents at wide receiver and tight end.

CIN - WR John Ross finds the end zone

    Source: 1 No Source

Cincinnati Bengals WR John Ross posted two catches for 39 yards and a touchdown in the Week 10 loss against the New Orleans Saints with a team-high six targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ross showed some promise and there was room for at least one more big play. He's worth adding in deep leagues, but could still get limited upcoming opportunities with the Ravens up next week.

CLE - RB Duke Johnson reaches end zone

    Source: NFL.com

Cleveland Browns RB Duke Johnson caught four passes for 31 yards and one touchdown against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10. He also rushed for 15 yards on three carries.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Johnson wasn't a big fantasy factor, but he did enough to keep justifying RB2/Flex starts in PPR leagues on the other side of his bye next week.

CLE - RB Nick Chubb has monster game

    Source: NFL.com

Cleveland Browns RB Nick Chubb rushed for 176 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 10. He also caught three passes for 33 yards and one touchdown during the game.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Chubb had the longest run in Browns history - a 92-yard touchdown - to help put this game away. He's surging towards RB1 status with a bye up next week and better playcalling in his offense.

NO - WR Michael Thomas busy in road victory

    Source: 1 No Source

New Orleans Saints WR Michael Thomas registered game highs with eight catches, 70 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 10 win against the Cincinnati Bengals.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Thomas is unstoppable right now. There's nobody in Philadelphia's secondary that will slow him down next week. The Saints playoff schedule bodes well for the teams that he's carrying to the playoffs.

NO - RB Mark Ingram has giant afternoon

    Source: 1 No Source

New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram rushed 13 times for 104 yards in the Week 10 game against the Cincinnati Bengals and he added three receptions for 58 yards and a touchdown on three targets.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ingram was strong early in the passing game with a near walk-in touchdown and strong later in the running game as the Saints put it away with a lot of time to spare. He'll be a solid RB2 despite the tough matchup against the Eagles next week.

ATL - QB Matt Ryan throws for 330 yards

    Source: NFL.com

Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan went 38-for-52 for 330 yards and two touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.

    [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]

Ryan and the Falcons offense had some red zone woes and wasn't as effective as hoped at Cleveland. Ryan's fantasy line was still solid, but could have been better. The Falcons season is on life support with Dallas coming.

The whole offense is a machine. Hard not to play both Ingram and Kamara like I do in one league.
