    Correct

    if Pirri plays the next 2 games, Vegas cannot send him back down to AHL without him being available on waivers...which he probably wouldnt clear the way he has played.

    Look at the teams Vegas beat in this winning streak tho.... COL, at LAK, at ARIZ, LAK, at ANA, NJ, NYR

    San Jose won 4 in a row, arguably against equally unimpressive opponents except Tampa.... at COL, TB, LAK, EDM

    I might have misunderstood your post, yisman

    Pirri played in Thursday night's game vs. San Jose

    Cody Eakin was scratched for the Knights. Can't remember why the reason they mentioned.

    Anyway, it's all good. I played the Sharks big and they just went up 3-2 halfway into 3p, so hopefully they hang on for me.

    Before tonight’s game against the San Jose Sharks, the Golden Knights sent Brandon Pirri to the AHL and then recalled him within two hours. All along he remained in Las Vegas and eventually played in the night’s game.
    The question is, why?
    There were speculations of trades, belief that salary cap was involved, even the Chicago Wolves schedule came up as a point of conversation. But all along the transaction was simply made to exploit a tiny rule in the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that effectively resets the waiver clock for Pirri.
