DEN - Big role for Royce Freeman?
Source: NFL.com - Bucky Brooks
Denver Broncos RB Royce Freeman has a chance to do 'Kareem Hunt type things,' according to Bucky Brooks of NFL.com.

Brooks called Freeman one of his favorite sleepers in the 2018 NFL draft. Freeman is going to have a chance to lead the way on the ground for the Broncos. They've been saying for months that they are going to be a run-heavy team...and it fits their strength (playing defense). Freeman will have to prove himself in pass protection and show better than incumbent Devontae Booker in training camp. There's some RB2 value for fantasy owners in Denver's backfield.
JAX - RB Leonard Fournette the focal point?
Source: ESPN.com - Mike DiRocco
Jacksonville Jaguars OG Andrew Norwell's signing is an indication that the offense will be built around RB Leonard Fournette and the running game, according to Mike DiRocco of ESPN.com.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That's not exactly a hot take, but it's the right thing for the Jaguars to do. They've got some new weapons in the passing game for QB Blake Bortles, but this team goes as far as Fournette and that world class defense can carry them. Fournette is a top-10 fantasy RB option and a late first round pick in most any format.
CIN - WR A.J. Green content with contract
Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Mike Florio
Cincinnati Bengals WR A.J. Green reportedly supports Atlanta Falcons WR Julio Jones' quest for an 'updated' contract, but he has no plans to do the same and appears happy to play under the current terms of his contract ($10.55 million for 2018 and $11.976 million for 2019).
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Green is currently the sixth-highest paid WR in the league, and if Jones gets a new contract then that will push the Bengals veteran further down the list. He's had over 1,000 yards receiving each season of his career except one (2016) when he was hurt and only played in 10 games. If healthy, Green should once again surpass the 1,000-yard mark as the centerpiece of the Bengals passing attack.
JAX - QB Blake Bortles feeling more comfortable
Source: Orlando Sentinel - George Diaz
Jacksonville Jaguars QB Blake Bortles recently told The Orlando Sentinel he feels like he is 'owning the offense' and has a better understanding of it this season after admitting he was working at more of an 'elementary level' at the start of last season.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Jaguars are built to make a Super Bowl run...if Bortles can get them over the top. They fell just short last year, losing to the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game where Bortles played a good game with 293 passing yards and a touchdown. The defense can take them far, but a more comfortable Bortles should help the offense play with more efficiency and effectiveness. The new weapons around Bortles should help him too. From a fantasy perspective, Bortles is a bye-week filler and QB3 who is going undrafted in most 12-team leagues.
WAS - WR Jamison Crowder making favorable impression
Source: ESPN.com - John Keim
Washington Redskins WR Jamison Crowder is healthy after a season in which he dealt with hamstring issues and is focusing on doing more of the dynamic lifts in college in order to avoid them this season. He has also 'clearly clicked' with Alex Smith this offseason, according to ESPN.com's John Keim.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It's great news for Crowder, and we'll be watching to see if the chemistry with Smith carries over into training camp and the preseason. Crowder struggled through the hamstring problems in 2017, and he finished the year as a low-end WR3 for fantasy owners. This year, Crowder is poised for a breakout year from the slot as Josh Doctson and Paul Richardson should be attacking from the outside of the formation.
BUF - More of the same for TE Charles Clay?
Source: The Buffalo News - Jay Skurski
Buffalo Bills TE Charles Clay should finish with around 50 catches and 600 receiving yards in 2018, according to Jay Skurski of the Buffalo News.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That's a reasonable expectation for Clay provided he stays healthy. The Bills offense is going to once again run through RB LeSean McCoy, and the passing attack is going to have inexperience at QB no matter if rookie Josh Allen, free agent addition A.J. McCarron or second-year pro Nathan Peterman starts. He's a low-end TE2 for fantasy owners.
BAL - WR Chris Moore taking the next step
Source: BaltimoreRavens.com - Garrett Downing
Baltimore Ravens WR Chris Moore has been 'consistently getting open and making the plays' during practices, wide receivers coach Bobby Engram said.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Moore is a deep threat and that's the best part of his game. That's what he was in college at Cincinnati A fourth-round pick in 2016, Moore is competing for pecking order on the Ravens depth chart behind Michael Crabtree, John Brown and Willie Snead. We'll continue to monitor his progress in dynasty formats.
