Gleyber Torres for the Yankees plays shortstop, just got called up
One of the articles I read about him makes him sound like the second coming of Derek Jeter
    Proceed with caution
And if he works out for you you're welcome

It’s Ronald Acuna day...I’m sure he’s not available in any leagues (maybe 10 team leagues). I wanted to draft him but someone always took him way early in my leagues. Wonder if he will live up to the hype.

If you were able to get him, hopefully you can get some production, sooner than later

The other guy I wanted was David Dahl. But he was also held onto in all of my leagues.

Looks like a good steaming option
Definitely not a keeper. He won't get regular at bats.

well it sounds like Ender Inciarte must already be taken in your league? I'm not just mentioning him because he is the current MLB leader in Steals.....his batting average is also DOWN currently from his career average, and I'd think that he catches up as the season goes along. Atlanta seems like a team with playing style that will allow him to keep attempting steals as well.

Stolen bases are at a premium
I even offered Kenly Janson for Ender Inciarte and got rejected
Think about that for a second
you know Janson is good for at least 30 more saves
Inciarte is not going to have that many more stolen bases- still couldn't pull the trade-off

    Andujar now 60% owned
    Pitchers haven't figured him out
Sometimes it's hard to find a 3rd baseman that can make a lot of contact

Looking at stats this morning and 5 weeks into the season there have only been 9 complete games. What a bunch of wussies.

Padres OF Franchy Cordero can fill the stat sheet. He has a few absolute bombs the past couple of weeks and is a 5 tool talent. He strikes out a lot and that is his major weakness but he has power and speed. He hit a 489 foot bomb off the scoreboard in Arizona last week and another 450+ shot off a lefty last night(he bats left-handed).

that is rough. How bout another Royals guy, Alcides Escobar? He's at the bottom of the lineup, but only hitting .204 although I'd expect him to bring that up some as his career average is above .250. Last year he only got 4 steals all season, which was far down from his previous years, so that was concerning.

Jonathan Villar from the Brewers would be a better choice for a guy hitting low in a batting order, but I'd assume he's unavailable based on what you said.

call-ups probably don't get the green light to steal much. Plus, I guess in most cases when looking for steals, it kinda limits you to National League teams and ruling out AL teams.

I don't even know how the points system / scoring works for the types of rotisserie league you're in. Probably different formats too. Still seems like too much work to do.

take a look at this page. It seems to concisely (as possible) describe every scenario of Disabled List designations.

Once again hot cross thanks again for posting the disabled list information
    I bookmark that

The sun just Rising here and I'm still pissed because I lost too much money on the Vegas golden knights
    Still can't get to sleep
Just reading a bunch of baseball stats

Outfielder Abraham Almonte shortstop Alcides Escobar first baseman Lucas Duda all have really good numbers against Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Mike Fiers
They're all less than 10% owned
Mike Fiers has a career batting average allowed of 337 to Kansas City Royals hitters

Personally when it comes to gambling I've been as cold as hell and I know I may be venting but I've had like the worst month in sports gambling in the month of April and it still continue through May
March was one of the best months I've ever had

Kansas City Royals money line is probably the play

Also, before I left the casino last night I didn't overnight bet on the Arizona Diamondbacks
Some of the Diamondbacks hitters have really good numbers against Alex Wood
Shortstop Nick Ahmed who's probably available in most leagues is one of them
Patrick Corbin is also one of the hottest pictures of major league baseball right now as well Diamondbacks should win

Outfielder for Toronto Curtis Granderson 14%
Plays a double-header against the Indians
I know Carlos Carrasco is a badass pitcher but I do have to mention that Curtis Granderson is five for 12 lifetime against him with two home runs

Trevor Williams starting pitcher for Pittsburgh looks like a good option at first
But Jeremy hellickson of Washington has very good pitching numbers against Pittsburgh hitting
My guess is those two pitchers will not have a decision it will be a battle of the bullpens

you mentioned having a very good month, followed by a horrific month.

I find this to be true because of the Law of Averages. I'm a .500 percent handicapper.

I tend to look at my play on a day-to-day basis, and find one great day is often followed by a bad one. The converse is also true, generally speaking.

We are in this for the long-term, and must constantly think of ways to improve. One method is to carefully and deliberately spead the amount of units risked on each play.

Another, perhaps more powerful method is to play less often, less volume, more selectively pick your spots. I have a difficult time remaining that disciplined.

When things are going very bad, take a break from real money wagers. But during that time, don't be complacent, continue to make picks and track the results on paper. Study why your picks won or lost. After your confidence is restored, it'll be time to get after it again.

Taking a chance on streaming CC Sabathia
    Not a lot of strikeouts.
    But you can win
he has great numbers against the Cleveland Indians lifetime
    Currently 30% owned

The 2 Brandon's in San Francisco have a lot of home runs and nearly a batting average of 500 against Mike foltynewicz of Atlanta
Brandon Belt first baseman Brandon Crawford shortstop 9% owned

Francisco Liriano has pretty good lifetime numbers against the Kansas City Royals and definitely a live dog if you want to bet them
    18% owned
Ian Kennedy for the Royals has been pretty shaky this year

Start your Mariners and Angels batsu
Mike Leake of the Mariners has terrible numbers against the Angels, over 300 lifetime batting average
Garrett Richards numbers against the Mariners bat just as awful
Personally if I would have won my bet by the Diamondback and Astros I would bet the total at over 8 and 1/2 easily but since those bullpens f***** me over yesterday I'm broke
