    they wont ever do that, INDY maybe just because they did with Xfinity and was the best race of the entire 2017 season

    they are very necessary at the super speedways Dega and Daytona...those would be un-watchable without them

    but def not cookie cutter tracks and wont happen

    but I and have to admit the best race in xfinity of all last year to watch was Indy when they did it

    with little hindsight, running packs at texas 15 mph less speed would probably be more exciting than seeing guys doin' 190, spread out, fearful to make moves due to the speeds involved....

    Awe fuk that, with the safer barrier walls and giant roof flaps, not to mention these guys are basically strapped into a welded roll cage, I say turn 'em the fuk lose and may the driver with the most balls win! They would still be running in packs, at least the the good cars would. These cars are already equal enough engine wise, the aero package is about the only dynamic of difference left, and hell, Nascar is try'in to control that too.

    maybe alternate a plate race among all the mile and half tracks each year, such that once every 15 yrs or so each track would run it....

    You guys ever watch any of those old vintage Nascar races, where guys would climb in a car with a basic helmet and nothing else. It's amazing that any of them survived. I've glad for all the safety features we have now, but man, choking off an engine with a restrictor plate just seems sacrilegious.
