Some of these states will tax it so much, it'll be nearly unplayable esp at the "cash game" level

Yep. People begging for states to legalize sports betting and there will be -120 lines and collecting tax up front or they will figure out how to pass out W2G's for well under $10K.

They will try that to start with but will soon become consumed with creating greater turnover and will become competitive.

Beginning of the end for sites like FFPC/Rotobowl. Basically, any pay/season long fantasy sports site, will not be able to afford the $55K/yr. Season long fantasy sports, will take a major hit if this starts to filter into every state.

Fantasy sports betting to be legalized in Iowa

Legislation is in the process of establishing taxes and fees to start fantasy sports wagering in Iowa. Lawmakers in the state are working on a bill that is said to legalize fantasy sports wagering in the state. Set to be managed under the purview of the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission that also regulates casinos in Iowa, the proposal to pass the bill is already in process, according to The Gazette.
