Who is closing for Colorado this weekend?

Axford threw 60+ pitches in the last 2 days and they're gonna need to rest him.

Who to pick up on free agency for the weekend, if the Rockies have a save situation?

As a result, I went and did my research. Looked like Tommy Kahnle was the best one to be a save guy.

What happenes: Rockies lead at the end of 8 innings, 6-3. Kahnle goes to warm up for the save. However, Rockies bat in the top of the ninth, and score two runs, lead 8-3-save chance no longer there.
Kahnle was up and warming up, so he throws the ninth and gives up 3 runs-jacking my WHIP/ERA.

That's the kind of shi+ that drives us rotisserie owners angry.

Does Colorado ever have save situations?

They have 16 saves as a team.

At this point of the season in rotisserie, I look for tired closers and try to see if I can scoop up a save from somebody that would, definitely, be in free agency.(mid- reliever)
Then I scoop up the free agent and discard them right after the save because we know the normal closer will be back to saves.

I was....or at least I could have been. I got the same number of saves as whoever was closing for them.

Mid-season is among us, we should probably start a thread for mid-relievers.

This guy is my avatar since when I sign-up forum so you guys can guess how I like him...and it seems I'm so lucky because as an European person , I should stay for six weeks in colorado for a special business travel. More interesting point that will be my first USA travel and he plays for Rockies at that time in MLB !!!

Axford has been a good addition for the Rockies but he hasn't had the save opps that he might have on a better team.
