Adrian Peterson 50/50 to be Reinstated Next Week (Week 15)...BUT...

BUT even if he is, it does not mean that the Vikings will activate him. They can leave him inactive as healthy scratch (with pay) the last three weeks.

Sports Illustrated's Peter King reports Adrian Peterson is "likely (but not certain) to be reinstated next week."

Peterson's appeal was heard this week, and it's now in the hands of league appeals officer, Harold Henderson. Henderson has rarely, if ever, sided with the player, so it'd come as a surprise to see Peterson win, especially after it was reported earlier in the week that the NFLPA wasn't confident about Peterson winning the appeal. If Peterson wins, it will then be the Vikings' call whether to activate him for Week 15. It's a true toss-up at this point. Stay tuned.

I don't think a fact can be more than 100%.

Doubt he plays this yearthe Vikes would no reason to play him from a winning games standpoint. Draft position more important to them at this point. What makes me laugh is the recent morality police popping up. Saw earlier in the Rice to Donkeys thread say I guess that means Elway supports women beating So fukking dumb Elway is just a business man and all these teams care about is winning and more important $$$$$$$$. Been couple hundred domestic cases in recent years with most of it swept under the rug or just getting the usual 2 game slap on the wrist. And that's where these were headed until public outcry got too loud and more important sponsors chimed in. The Nfl and none of these leagues have much in the morality department. The Nfl stepping it up in these 2 particular cases was them REACTING not taking action. A.P. suits up next year if not for the Queens then someone else.

Really dumb to reinstate him and then have him not play.

Not sure of his contract status but is he locked in with Minny for awhile? Whether it be for trade bait or he comes back why risk getting him injured or Todd Gurley'd in a meaningless year after a long layoff?? Obviously Georgia had reason to bring Todd back but he should have just said fukk you to them.

He should not play. Vikings would be smart to trade him. Dude is going to be 30.

I think he'll be on the Cowboys next season. Dallas running DeMarco Murray into the ground this year and let him walk as a free agent is smart.

2 years sounds about right JJ you would think just because he's a freak. But he's at that age for rb's and has a ton of miles on him. When rb's are washed up they fall off the mountain quick!

That makes a lot of sense. Peterson might set single season rushing record behind that offensive line.

Did your grandma beat your balls like a pinata and stuff leaves in your orifice? That's what AP did, no defense for that.

The Dude smoked weed before a Court Ordered Drug Test!!!!! Damn AP, get it together.

I doubt he will ever play again and if he does, how long can he stay clean?
Isn't he on probation due to his plea agreement?

Adrian Peterson admitted to a staffer he had ‘smoked a little weed’ before the test. As a result of that, the Montgomery County District Attorney has asked the judge in this case to set aside Peterson’s $15,000 bond and have him arrested again.
