McHugh should qualify for the ERA title by the end of the year, he would be sixth in the American League right now at 2.79 along with a 1.04 WHIP and the excellent K/BB ratio I posted earlier. Most importantly has has now allowed two runs or less in eight straight starts including allowing one run in six of them. Far from sucking balls.

McHugh took a comebacker off the bat of Lonnie Chisenhall to force his exit. He was in the midst of another excellent outing, yielding just one unearned run on five hits and no walks while striking out seven. The Astros expect McHugh to be ready for his next start.
