    Opposite would be not the same defensive ability as the Bulls employ, not the banging to the boards that the Bulls employ. They have two PF's what do you need Gasol for, makes no sense when, like you said, they could be using that money to get some scoring to that team. They still dont have a solid 3.

    Gasol announces on Twitter that he's going to the Bulls. No contract details yet, but apparently it's NOT a sign-and-trade. Not sure how the Bulls have the cap space to do this without a corresponding move. We'll see.

    They cant sign him currently. The amnesty deadline is Wednesday. They will explore a trade for Boozer up to that point.

    Gasol is actually a great fit for Bulls as they love to run pick and rolls and will provide a perfect rotation and extra rest for Noah. Still doesn;t answer the need at wing though. I doubt this is the last move.

    Obviously much depends on Rose. But outside of Rose's health issues, I think this looks to be better than the Bulls teams of the last 4 seasons, including 2010-2011 when they won 62 games.

    Magic is nuts. Bulls can be the team to beat if Rose is healthy. Cavs will take a while to get chemistry going. LeBron will have to adjust to having to score 50 pts a game again.
