How Much To Start Up A Daily Fantasy Website

This niche is getting bigger and bigger and I imagine there will be many competitors who figure out how to compete with Fanduel and Draft Kings. Give me some answers on how much you think it costs to start up a fantasy site. From legal, to website, to stats feed, to marketing. All creative answers suggested. And what would you like to see from your fantasy site in the future that is not there now?

Design and programming - start with mid 4 figures, be prepared to spend more

I would say mid to high 4 figures like chili said. Only thing is you probably have to have atleast 50% of what it cost to start on hand to use if anything comes up

Thanks for the replies. In this industry there are about 3-4 PLAYERS and then 20 or so PRETENDERS that have zero volume and languish. Reason why is there is zero creativity in the industry. I have 3 ideas that will help take it to next level.

When you add in legal, technical, servers, website, seed money, marketing, you are probably looking at half million just to get in the game properly. If anyone has been on the inside and knows exactly what it takes please let me know. Question is whether I create my own (with funding partners) or go out and buy a pre existing site that already set things up that is failing miserably. Interject my 3 or so ideas and get it rolling.

    Thanks.

    Bob
