    Trading Cole hammels

Cole is undroppable for me, as the highest drafted players in my league are undroppable.

I got a guy willing to trade Matt Cain to me.
    I think it's a good deal.

    What are youir thoughts?

both are really struggling to start the year...i do like cains team and home ballpark much better, but the K edge goes to hamels. it is a fair trade i will say that

fair trade and think cain's slump at the beginning of the season is at its end and he will be his usual self the rest of the season.

At this point it's a crap for crap deal. They'll probably both turn it around.

I'd make the swap. Two struggling pitchers. One of them if not both are bound to turn it around.

I think Cain will turn in around more so than Hammels. If you can make the trade do it.

    good job fellahs,

one of the reasons why it's a good trade, for me, is that I really want Cole Hammels off the team and h'es undroppable.
The only way I can get rid of him is if he goes on the dl, or by a trade.

In the league I'm in, we get scored on losses.
I'm in last place in losses and Cole hammels is 1-9. If I didn't have Cole hammels, I'd be in 1st place in losses.
I got 30 losses, and 1st place has 24 losses in my rotisserie league

Cain will get it together for a contending team, so more wins!

24 more hours till the trade can officially go through.

we don't have a waiver process, but we have a 72 hour trade approval process

The fact that losses count changes this from an even trade to Cain having the edge, so do it if it's a straight one-for-one swap.

on a side note, crazy how cain was perfect for 5 out of 6 innings last time out, and in that one other inning he let up 7 runs. wtf?? how does that even happen...hopefully its just a bump in the road for him

In a league Im helping out in, someone swapped Hamels for Stanton this week. You can keep 6 players a year.

There are a lot of pitchers than can shut down the Marlins right now.

yea but I don't think that many did that cause I don't think that anyone thought that they would be this bad. Astros was the fade team talk before the year started.

That's not quite true, there was early talk about the Miami offense possibly being one of the worst of all time this year and that was even WITH Giancarlo.
