I have the #2 overall pick in my first fantasy draft tonight.

    I don't like picking #1 or #2 overall in a snake draft.
After I pick #2, I don't have another selection until #23, then #25, etc. etc.

    Having said that, no brainer.

If #1 takes Trout, I take Miggy
If #1 takes Miggy, I take Trout.

I love Trout, love him to death, but I have no problem getting 'stuck' with Miggy

This particular league has no individual pitchers, just entire team pitching staffs.

    I'll post the results here.

    5pm EST draft time

I agree with you on not liking being stuck on one side of the draft, makes it easy for you to miss out when there is a run on a certain position.

Let's say the person with the first pick doesn't select Cabrera or Trout.

Who will you take if this scenario presents itself?

Good Luck in your draft tonight, Nasher!

I'd rather have Miggy. Trout will not have as good of a season as he did last season.

McCann replaces AJ when he's 100 percent.

I got power at every mother freaking position. Plus the best staff in baseball

No paper doesn't always win, even though I didn't plan on a power laden team, I fell into it, and I like the looks of it.

Pretty good looking roster on paper for a 12 team league. I also like the idea of having entire pitching staffs instead of individual pitchers. Cuts down on the total draft time significantly I'd imagine.

Those are the 2 best hitters last year. Most likley it will be different. Watch out for Teixera and Cano.

Depends on scoring system. If it is Rotisserie, then Trout is the OBVIOUS choice over Miggy. If it's based on raw stats then it's tougher. You can't pass up a 5-tool guy like Trout in a Rotisserie system.

Granderson, Kinsler, Teixeira? not a fan

teixeira is an average fantasy 1B at this point

he's been crap as a Yankee anyway and he's turning 33 at the beginning of the season

bizarre draft. Three overdrafted but you did get some late which should've gone much earlier

    these were steals:

    11 Brian McCann (C, U, ATL)
    12 Ryan Howard (1B, U, PHI)

Tex in the fifth round is where you should have drafted him. The first and second tier first basemen were gone.
Grandy will be around 40 homers this year.

Cano went fourth pick first round, Pedroia went second round, Kinsler in the third round is fine.

Good luck on your season. Definitely worked yourself into a power hitting team. I've never done entire pitching staffs before. That is an interesting thought.
