    Tom Brady or Josh Freeman?

    Tom Brady against Houston
    Josh Freeman against the Eagles

Also do I start Darren Sproles this week over any of the following:

    Ryan Matthews
    Vick Ballard
    Benjaruvs

    Never bench your studs.

    Sproles only maybe in ppr.

Never bench Brady for Freeman. I'd take Mathews out and put in Sproles, regardless if it is ppr or not. Mathews is going up against one of the best run defenses in the NFL.

Yeah, of course you start Brady. That's fairly obvious.

I'm going with the consensus here that you should start Tom Brady.

    Good Luck!

Same ole. I'd obviously go with Brady here. If it is PPR, then I'd go with Sproles, but not worth it if it's not.

People really think Mathews should be ahead of Sproles even in standard? I'll take Sproles over Ryan Mathews anytime the Chargers are at Pit.

    Seriously?

Brady runs up the score. How can you not want that in your line-up?

Is this a joke? Matchups should only be taken into account if it's a close call between two players. You NEVER bench first round draft picks that have not given you any reason to bench them regardless of the matchups

Houston's D will be running man-to-man so Brady will kill them with the deep ball and put up huge numbers.. look for a high scoring game

If Houston didn't have a track record of the occassionally let down, I'd say you could consider going with Freeman. But games like the one from Aaron Rodgers vs. them just make you start Brady no question. I'm a firm believer of not over-thinking matchups this late in the season too. With fantasy playoff implications and things, just roll with who got you there for better or worse....CERTAINLY in cases like Brady, Rodgers, Brees, Rice, Foster, etc.

I own Ray Rice and the Ravens have made me hate them and Flacco. Flacco is trying to be Tom Brady, and passing all the damn time. It help cost them the game last week against the Steelers.

2nd and goal at the 4, and the pass twice. After Rice gains six on first and ten, and Leech had a wicked lead block. They settle for FG.

RUN THE DAMN FOOTBALL! Use your best player more damn it.

I have Sproles, and kinda concerned with the way he is being used now. Not the same as before he broke his hand. He isn't returning Kickoffs, only punts. Doesn't seem to be on the field all that much, like before. Officials taking his TD's away doesn't help either.

Brady has been the most consistent qb in the nfl if you ask me.
Has he had a game under 250 yards with 2 tds or less?

This thread is relevant once again this week as Brady faces SF and Freeman facing a lackluster NO pass D. What do you guys think?

im not sure this thread will ever really be relevant...i thought the lesson to take away here is you have to go with brady regardless of matchup...texans D has been dominant all year and look what he did...stevan ridley, i would say he is not a good start this week because of the 49ers stout D...but that only makes brady a better play...

I know its not really. I started Brady last week and will start him this week. Really just looking for someone to present some legitimate reasons on why Freeman will trump Brady THIS week.

no i understand, the problem there is you will drive yourself crazy if you think of every "what if" and "why not x instead of y" its just not worth it...you start brady every time, and you dont want to second guess yourself. of course there is always a possibility that freeman can outscore him, shit, mark sanchez on any given sunday could outscore brady in fantasy..there are so many things that play into someone getting points...but brady gives you the BEST POSSIBLE chance to win

    Tom Brady or Josh Freeman

This is a no-brainer if there ever was one ----> Take Tom Brady
