I have been looking over some players for this weekend for some daily contest and I am leaning towards Andre Roberts from Arizona at WR. His price tag is cheap, he has become the teams 2nd go to guy and with Larry Fitzgerald seeing most of the double coverage Roberts has strong upside. It helps they are playing Buffalo this weekend who has allowed 2.4 passing touchdowns per game this season ranking them 30th in the league in that category.

Still looking over some players nothing in stone yet just wanted to throw Roberts out as a possibility.

Here is the team I submitted as of right now. This could change though.

QB: Matt Ryan, Ryan has been a beast all season long. Atlanta is a pass first team so Ryan will get his chances and it will be against a struggling pass defense from Oakland. Ryan averages 40 pass attempts per game in which he averages almost 3 TDS per game through the air with a 68.34 completion percentage.

RB: Darren McFadden: Oakland needs to control the clock and keep the high powered offense of Atlanta off the field. McFadden is going to be that guy to do it. Oakland needs to lean on him this game to get after this Atlanta defense that has struggled against the run this season at times.

RB: Reggie Bush: Bush is having an outstanding season. He is proving that he can be the number one back on a team and carry majority of the load. One of the things I like about Bush is not only his ability to pick up nice runs but his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. With a rookie QB at the helm that at times will find himself in trouble check downs to the RB is his savior. Bush is well rounded and is a major piece to this Miami offense.

WR: Andre Roberts: Roberts has turned into an outstanding number 2 WR. He sees plenty of targets due to most teams trying to focus on trying to stop Larry Fitzgerald. Buffalo has a poor pass defense so Roberts should see plenty of action in this game.

WR: Julio Jones: Jones and Ryan have built a great relationship. Some people question if Atlanta made the right move to give up so much to move up and take Jones a few years back but he is showing that he is well worth it. Like I said Oakland struggles against the pass so Jones should be able to put up nice numbers against this Raiders D.

WR: DeSean Jackson: I like the price tag on Jackson and he is playing a Lions secondary that he has enough speed to get past. We could see some big plays from Jackson this weekend. I am a Lions fan and I have no faith in this secondary. Don't be fooled by the numbers from the Lions secondary. They have yet to see a QB that can throw the deep ball like Vick. This could get ugly for Detroit.

TE: Tony Gonzalez: Gonzalez is the ageless wonder. This guy continues to play at a high level each year as he gets older. This right now seems to be the best season he has had to start in his career. He plays in an offense that passes the ball and he has a great QB to get him the ball.

Kicker: David Akers: Akers is just money when it comes to kicking. This guy continues to hit longer and longer field goals. SF does not have a high powered offense which does give Akers plenty of shots for FG's.

Defense: Miami Dolphins, Miami's defense average 1.4 INT's per game, 1.6 forced fumbles per game, and 3 sacks per game. They will face a Rams team that allows 3 sacks per game, Throws 1 INT per game and averages 1 fumble per game. The Total set on this game is 38. Odds makers don't expect a high scoring game which helps when it comes to points allowed for Miami's defense.

Right now this is what I have submitted. This could change by game time tomorrow, I will still look to see if I find anything else I like a bit more.

I am a Lions fan too and I am also worried about Sunday's game. There isn't a greater feeling when you pick players in fantasy from the team you support and they do great, but for Detroit fans it has been tough so far.

Noles, I guess great minds think alike.

allin, I can't believe I found another lions fan. It was nice last season but it has been far from smiles for us this year.

why is it so hard to believe?

even last season could have been better if it wasn't for so many errors, but the start of this season left me speechless. I hope they will bounce back ...

So do you actually pick DeSean Jackson for tomorrow even though you are a Lions fan? if he does bad and Lions win you are happy, if he does good and Lions lose, at least you score some fantasy points... of course he could be bad and Lions still lose, that would be an ugly Sunday.

allin, Outside of Detroit you don't seem to many Lions fans. I live in Pennsylvania and I might be only 1 of the 10 Lions fans in the area I live in, the area I live is the third largest in the state. I grew up watching Barry Sanders wreck havoc on teams and I don't know if we will see another NFL back with his kind of skills.

Yeah I am going to go with Jackson. I like his price tag and his big play making ability which should come out against this Lions team. I may be a Lions fan but like I said in past post my concerns are who covers the line and who scores the most points in fantasy for me.

Oiler, I just need McFadden for one day. If Oakland goes about the game plan for this game like I think they should he should see plenty of carries and even some screens which could turn out for a hell of a day from him. I just think the Raiders need to establish the run in this game to set up the pass and take a lot of time off the clock by doing this. That is how you are going to have to compete with Atlanta by wearing down their D and keeping the Offense off the field. There D is not all that great. But then again I am not an NFL coach so maybe I don't know what the hell I am talking about.

I am going to stick with my original lineup for today. I really like the matchups these guys have. The one guy I though about maybe taking out was Reggie Bush. But I am going to stick with my gut from the original lineup I put together and see what happens.

    Good Luck everyone!
