    Common mistake some make in drafts

    Lets say you pick 4th, and its now round 6 and the picks at 1 2 and 3 already have a qb.

    Picks 1 2 3 pick after you. I'll see some teams take a qb there. Mistake. No need to take a qb there because 1 2 and 3 have a qb. Take your rb wr or te and take the qb in round 7. No team at 1 2 or 3 is going to take a
    second qb there. Don't panick if you see rivers, cutler, m ryan, eli left and think you have to take a qb there.

    Qb is very deep,, deepest year ever at qb, wr and te. Don't wait too late but some good qb's will fall to you in the right spot.

    You will find teams will take a qb earlier in ten team drafts and qb's will fall in a 12 team league where you need to start 2 rb 3 wr, te flex.
    If your league starts 2 rb,, 2 wr , te flex, qb's will also go quicker.


    2. Also don't worry about drafting a defense, let some other moron take sf d . Wait till the last 2 or 3 rounds to take your k and d. Do not take 2 d or 2 k. In some cases, i know people that won't draft a k or d at all. Try to make a trade where you trade 2 guys for 1 or 3 guys for 2 and you will then get an open spot to pick up a kicker or defense. You will do very well picking up a free agent kicker or defense every week based on matchups.

    Make sure to know your league scoring and lineup.

    While obviously there are some studs at QB and TE, I think if you take one too high you can really be caught playing catch up the rest of the draft.

    Funny you say that TT. I was drafting 8 last year and probably 7-8th round and about to take Romo but 9-10 had QBs and went with not sure what but idiot at 9 took Romo before filling out a team. Needless to say I took Stafford and the rest is history.
