Of those 24 starts, he will win 10, no more than 11 games. You can pretty much make book on that.
He will be a 16 game winner, maybe 17 game winner.
Lohse WH/IP ratio is 1.21 right now, and his ERA is 3.36
I expect those numbers to inch up some, and after 35 starts should end the season with 16 wins, 1.26 WH/IP ratio and ERA of 3.41
Those are three categories you need to win, and he gives you that. Wins, WH/IP and ERA
What Lohse won't give you is King Hernandez type strikeouts, Lohse will not help you in the strike out category, he doesn't close, so saves you have to throw out.
Lohse will help you in 3 out 5 pitching categories, not help in the K department.
Lohse is one of those pitchers that you need on your staff if you want to win a fantasy league, because you can't all have a staff of Verlander, Kershaw, etc. etc.
Regarding Pujols, he hits .330 + every year, he hits 30 + homers every year, that's a given, obviously he will fall short of those numbers, however he is at .243 right now and climbing, he has 8 homers now and that will climb, he is too good a hitter not to improve on those numbers, and history proves he is capable.
I expect Albert to hit about 23 or so more homers to finish around 32 or so, he will hit about .320 going forward to finish the season, I am guessing around .288? He'll drive a lot more runs going forward now.
Pujols from June 1 onward will be a force I believe, he will give you major HR points, RBI points, BA points.......
Cuddyer is a nice player, vastly underrated, he's at .282 right now, and will finish right around there.
He'll give you 11 to 14 more homers from June 1 onward, and he'll drive in maybe 62 more to wind up in the mid to upper 90's RBI's.
Pretty close trade, edge to the Pujols side, but know this, if Pujols has to go 30 day disabled list at anytime, that person's season is screwed, done, no chance.
But edge to Albert.
