    input on this baseball trade

hey fellas, love the fantasy forum i really hope this takes off...i know we have some bright minds at SBR so i wanted to seek an opinion on this trade offered to me:

he trades: ryan dempster and tommy hanson
    i trade: curtis granderson

this could really be a big hit to boost my pitching staff, only problem is i have no outfielders really (berkman and brett gardner on the DL, other guys are marlon byrd, allen craig, angel pagan...not exactly worldbeaters lol)

my top pitcher is cliff lee (also DL) and i also have ricky romero, masterson, zambrano, jaime garcia, lilly and D lowe

what do you guys think? any input is much appreciated

I don't like the trade. Your OF needs more help than your pitching staff.

I'd hold onto Granderson with that short porch at Yankee Stadium and your current OF situation.

Person who gets the player in fantasy trade usually means they won the trade...in Fantasy, Grandy is probably best player of the bunch....although, more specific to your situation, I'd keep Grandy because if/when Cliff Lee does come back your pitching staff isn't too bad at all for starters. Between Lilly who is on fire early in year and R. Romero and Garcia, you're ok. at pitcher actually...also depends on what kind of league it is. H2H each week or what....either way, I'd probably stand pat as your OF is your weakest link it looks.

thank you guys for all the input, its 12 man a daily h2h league...and yes you guys are right i think i have to keep granderson, my outfield will be better with big puma and brett gardner back but still granderson is the best one i got...as for pitching i think i am looking too much into ryan dempster's hot start, he wont get a ton of wins and he definitely wont keep pitching like he is now (guy can be a gascan/walk machine) so i think i'll stand pat...thanks for all the advice!

Dempster isn't that reliable and Granderson is solid looks like your outfield needs moree help then your pitching staff, I say stand pat.

Since his outfield is weak I would suggest scouring the the waiver wire to see if Matt Kemp, Ryan Braun or Josh Hamilton are available instead.

I think this is solid advice! I would also pick up Jose Reyes off the waivers.

I agree with what's been said.

You shouldn't do it. You'd have to drop a guy, plus the starting pitching you're getting isn't that good. It would make your OF weak.

You should try and get Matt Wieters. He's a catcher for the Baltimore Orioles.

Actually, I did some research and he's been the starting shortstop for the Yankees for the last 17 seasons. I'm not that good at this fantasy baseball thing.
