What is so Great about Fantasy League Play??

I played on Fan Duel and it sucks to me.. I have to pick different players different teams and make only $75 in a BS pool of people.. Cmon seriously

My only fantasy is to hit a 12 team parlay and call it a day

At least the $75 is real money. That 12 team parlay never hits and will always be a fantasy...

Things are great Op, couldn't be better. Just bustin your chops because it is so easy to do.

Not to worry, I am not a fantasy guy, or one of the lemmings. Reality suits me just fine.

Actually, I've never played fantasy anything before this week. But I'm an avid sports fan, so I look forward to learning more about it.

    Good luck.

Ain't a damn thing wrong with it really. Great way to get in depth without spending a ton of cash. Some of my best capping info comes from some of the fantasy sites.

Involvement in fantasy leagues a bit too time consuming for a serious capper but can promote great balance to gaming for others.

Enjoy! Learning anything is always good.

you pick a random team total tonight in bases, you are 50/50 to win.

you pick a random hand to go all in with in poker who knows what you are, but there is a good chance everyone folds or a small percent you win with a random hand.

you enter a random team in fantasy baseball and you have no fukkin shot. weather, lineups, injuries are just the beginning of it. you enter a random team, i bet half your guys dont even play.

that's why you need to check lineups. no different than betting. you're not playing scrub players that don't make a difference so if said player is not playing then you'd want to know that info for placing your bet as well because that player probably would have a significant impact in the lines, especially for sports like nba.

sounds great, but all of that is factored in the line you are betting. its not in fantasy.

i'm talking about when lines change last minute. not anything laid out overnight. if you're starting players that aren't playing then likely it's a last minute change to the lineup d/t injury/sickness/personal/etc. if you're relying on that player for good production then vegas is changing those lines to reflect that player being out as well

lineups are posted on espn at least an hour before play starts, and on other sites well before that

    I think it's too boring
More for a real fan although fans don't usually bet on sports therefore fantasy sites are small stakes

They do make a lot of money but juice is a joke, i might take it more serious if the juice was similar to sports. In baseball you can shop different books you probably can't scalp but you can bet one team -122 and the other team +120 so almost no juice fantasy juice is like -125 on both sides.

I'm happy to hear it's treating you well

My skills are in the 're-development' stage - I took a hiatus from BBL after the last strike and am slowly returning.

Just to be clear - I was not 'dissing' them, just saying that they are very different from the real game.

How about you keep your yap shut regarding fantasy sports? In case you haven't noticed, we're trying to get a fukkin fantasy forum rolling here on SBR. We'd appreciate you not bashing the idea.

I'll play again when NFL rolls around. Was my first time last year and it was a lot of fun. Can't imagine playing MLB though when games are every day. It was hard enough for me to keep up with teams playing once a week.

How about fantasy sports is legal in the US and you know that you'll get your money. Baseball is probably the least fun but I don't have to sweat about making a deposit or think that someone is looking over my shoulder
