    OU Defense ready to roll

Was at the OU game yesterday. The Offense was so-so. It looks they finally added some passing plays for AD which is good so that he does not stay one dimensional.

The QB were both alright. Nothing very great cept Bomar had one good TD toss. He still plays with too much emotions sometimes as was evident from the back to INT's (the first was called back due to def. holding, even though the call was very suspect to me). He is gonna have to let the game come to him or he gonna be in trouble in Eugene and Dallas.

The D was def. better than last year and they will be the D of old Stoops teams. Alot of young players so its gonna be some time b4 they become household names. Reggie Smith is really looking like the shutdown DB he was labeled to be in HS.

The front line is hard to tell as of now because of the O line.

The O line was letting anyone and everyone through to the QB's. Bomay may end up scrambling more than he would like this season if this unit does not start to hold its own. This will the be the teams BIGGEST problem along with the fact that Stoops let the punter go a few days ago. A non-experienced punter will be playing for OU so that will be interesting to see how he handles pressure in Dallas and places like Oregon.

The turnout was a lilttle dissapointing as it seemed only 25k showed up. Alot of former Sooner greats were on hand so that was good to see.

Right now, I like the under in Dallas for the RRS. Maybe a game similar to the 14-3 Superman game courtesy of Roy Williams.
