    TCU-Wisconsin what to watch for

    1. The entire TCU dance line. All 10's with 10 bodies.

    2. Have no idea who covers.

Happy New Year and good luck with your wagers.

this has been talked about ad nauseum around here

    1) wisconsin's last 3 opponents (indiana, michigan, northwestern) all have terrible defenses. the 3 games before that against decent teams wisc scored 31 31 34 with some kick returns/turnovers in there, not bad but hardly dominating
    2) tcu has the best defense in the country
    3) if all you did was listen to the so-called "experts" you would fail to realize that almost every offensive line in the country is much bigger than the defensive line they are playing against.
    4) if all you did was listen to the so-called "experts" you would fail to realize that TCU HAD MORE RUSHING YARDS THIS YEAR THAN WISCONSIN and about the same strength of schedule

tcu is favored for a reason, computer-wise they should be favored by around 8 but people have misconceptions about these 2 teams and will be in for a shock if/when tcu rolls

This is probably one of the most interesting matchups of the bowl season. It sounds like ppl are betting heavy for both sides, I like overs in this play.

There is no way for a great defense to stop a great offense. Everyone knows that offense wins championships. I remember when the squares were all over NE and I got the Greatest Show on Turf at a bargain (was it -6.5?). Always go with the teams that put up big point totals. It can't fail. Time and again we see great defenses embarassed by great offenses in these big games.

Guess you guys aren't into computer analysis much... Their schedules were very comparable. And no, I am not talking about the BCS "computers". Those rating systems are hamstrung by dumb rules and regulations.

Wisconsin played Ohio State, Mich St and Iowa. All three of which are better than any team TCU played.

I don't care what computers say they base everything off of the teams stats and the teams TCU plays are all garbage stats so I don't respect them. I don't even like the big ten, but since they can't win any big games they seem to always show up and win their bowl games. The big ten takes a lot of pride in the bowl games and it shows every year. The SEC wins national championships but clearly doesn't care about the other bowl games as they are always getting DUI's or in trouble beforehand. Bet on TCU it could win sure, nothing is impossible. Wisconsin is the better team though.

It's not a fact that Iowa is better than Oregon State. Don't look at the BCS or AP rankings. They are a joke. Speaking of schedule strength, Oregon State had the toughest schedule in the country, bar none.

Also, even if your "fact" had been true, it is mostly irrelevant. They both played TWELVE games, not 3. Neither team played a top 50 schedule. Wisconsin's schedule was a little tougher, but not by much. As I said, their schedules are very comparable.

Also, I am at a loss why you would even think that Wisconsin getting handled by Mich State is supposed to impress us. TCU went undefeated you know.
