Game: Kansas State at Syracuse (Friday 12/31 21:20 CET)
These two teams have both ended regular season with 7-5 SU record and however theoretically they're both similar in terms of quality plus it's more a home game for Syracuse (played at Yankee Stadium), I'm giving an edge for the Kansas State and definitely -2.5 spread was closer to mine projected than current +1.0. First of all it'll be very hard for Orange to stop opponents potent offense, no matter the fact they've been allowing low number of points during season. They're in worse division and had an easier schedule for me, so with their terrible offense, I can't see them scoring much and I'm aware of the fact that K-State defense is light. X-factor in here will be Thomas, who's really one of the best quarterbacks in the college football at the moment. I don't know what happened that public shifted the line so much but I don't care - better team should win in here. Orange lost last two games in a row and score 6 and 7 points respectively against Boston College and Connecticut, so there's no reason to believe they'll explode offensively. Pick: 1 unit on Kansas State +1.0 @ 1.926
