okay have looked into some earlier games and these picks are what I really like:

Fresno State +1 over Northern Illinois 1.1 units to win 1

I think Niu has little to play for after their heartbreaking loss to Miami Ohio. Fresno is coming off a huge win vs Illinois and have a lot of confidence in themselves. Also line has moved from 3 to 1 and the public is on NIU.

BYU -11.5 over Texas El-Paso 1.1 units to win 1

BYU has been playing really good football as of late and has a lot of confidence. They have won 5 of their last 7 and almost defeated Utah away (lost by one point). UTEP hasn't beatin a good football team all year. I expect BYU to win by atleast 14.


Thats all I have so far. Will see how I do and update later. I am very excited to see how these games playout because I have a lot of confidence in these picks.

You do realize that Fresno State suspended players for this game, right? Your Auburn play looks like an "all in" play. 22 units and most of your games will be for 1?

You do realize if you lose the Auburn game you would have to win 22 one unit games to break even.
Let's say you bet $50 per unit.

22 wins = + $1100
1 loss = - $1210

Twenty two wins and only one loss and you are losing money. Makes alot of sense to me.....this unit crap.

Its because look at history The SEC dominats in national Championship Games The Games are not even close... u can even go back to when TENN played a damn good FSU Team with a so called great defense.. key was it was not sec tested same with there offense... an TENN torched them an beat them up all game.. The SEC defensive wise is so much faster then any other conference an hitting is at a whole nother LEVEL...If u dont understand turn on the auburn south carolina game an watch how physical they were..The Ducks defense is used to having teams run around them an try to get to the edges... how do you normally do in the Bowls? last year i did real well and to be honest i agree with 3 of your picks. dont know anything about the TCU game yet... I tend to agree with you that Auburn is the correct side, but I keep wondering that Auburn's defense is pretty average for a top SEC school. When I think about the champion defenses from prior years at Bama, LSU, Florida, I think that was a significant component in the SEC's victories. Auburn does not play that kind of defense, they allowed 43 to Arkansas, 31 to Georgia, 31 to Ole Miss, 34 to Kentucky. They did play good defense against LSU and S. Carolina, but those two schools, in my opinion, do not have great offenses. And for 35 minutes they did shut down Bama. I just think for you to be right and to have this big a wager on this game that Auburn will have to beat up Oregon in the first half, because if they don't it seems like the game could be a track meet and thus there would be some doubt as to the outcome.

dngf I agree with you.... however, auburn has a better defense and offense than oregon. They have played in much more difficult games this year and are much more prepared. Im sure they will be up a couple tds after the first half and will come out firing.

One thing I have learned in this goofy game and there is no such thing as a lock.

And while the SEC has been rock solid in the National Titles games---that has little relevance to this year. Roster turnover in the college game is too varied to place value in such recent trends.
