    Akron Zips -1

Really like Akron in this spot, as much as you can like a winless team anyway. Playing at home against an equally bad Buffalo team who just lost their home finale last week to Eastern Michigan (one of the worst FBS teams in the nation). The Zips will do everything they can to get in the win column for the first time while closing out the season at home.

Akron has been much improved over the last 2 weeks, narrowly losing at home to MAC title contenders Miami OH 19-14. The Zips drove deep into Miami territory on their final drive and were in a position to actually win the game, but coughed up a fumble to end it. The week before Akron lost in overtime on the road to Ball State, an admittedly bad team this year but far better than Buffalo (beat them 20-3).

On the other hand, Buffalo is in a tailspin and has little to play for. They havent won since October 2 against fellow MAC doormats Bowling Green, with their latest loss coming to Eastern Michigan last week at home.

Both teams have horrible offenses, two of the worst in the nation averaging around 15 points a game each. As I said though, Akron has been showing signs of life lately and is starting to move the ball a bit. Both teams have decent defenses (for the MAC) and this should be a relatively low-scoring affair.

A little surprised by the Ohio - 3.5 / Kent St 2H line...trap? Down 11, Ohio should at least make a game out of this, if not win straight up.
