    Georgia's A.D. Damon Evaqns resigned today. His arrest for D.U.I. in the company of woman who was not his wife led to the resignation. Look for Georgia to name an "Interem" A.D. until the football season is over.

    The real killer on this one was his 60 second PSA played in the stadium before every game encouraging students not to drink and drive. Perhaps another should have been don't cheat on your wife in public, and don't get caught crying for forgiveness on police video.

    This will have little impact on the football team. He was actually a decent AD though. The first black AD in the SEC...

    Two possible replacements are Greg McGarity, executive senior associate athletic director at Florida, and Billy Payne, Chairman of the Augusta National Golf Club.
