My bad and I shouldn't get high so early in the a.m. lmao I was confusing it with parlays. Don't care what people say about sucker bets, every dog has his day and even I went 11-2 once this season. I was really baked last night and bet 2 8 team parlays. I bet 2$ on each and would win $300 on either in a miracle. So as stupid of a play it is, I lose the cost of a pack of smokes and I quit last month anyway

It's not that we are not playing straight bets, it's just fun to bet a few dollars on like 10 teams and hit a few bucks. Now, I would not do this everyday, but, once a week with a few will not hurt you.

I do really well with teasers. I always bet all my plays as teasers using round robins of all my plays for every number of picks from 2 to total number of teams.

I don't want to do all that typing, so I just put the largest teaser here.

All you have to do is have a winning percentage including the additional points and this pays off. Then on the days when you go 8-0, 7-0, etc, it REALLY pays off.

I really like the teasers with hockey, those extra 5 pucks can win a lot of games LOL

For college basketball I make a list of all the road teams that are winless on the road and if they are playing anyone decent I bet against the road team. This has won TONS in teasers. Straight betting the spread still works, but not as effective because even these bad college teams can cover a 30 point spread. LOL But I have noticed that they don't cover the spread and 5 points as often.

I'm doing this mostly to hedge other plays. I also have a huge rollover to meet so I am looking for angles that have a positive expectation overall. Teasing these bad NCAAB teams has been positive so far. I also do 2,3,4,5,6,7,8, and 9 pick teasers of these same teams. So, what happens is when it works you win HUGE. When it doesn't work the 2 and 3 pick teasers usually make up most of the losses because the overall win % of teasing these games is always > 50%.

I don't know how to calculate a teaser. But, I have seen other people post 10 pick teasers at The RX forum and they had similar payouts.

Are you saying that a teaser is a parlay with the odds adjusted for the 5 points first? So, you calculate it the same way you calculate a parlay?

Basically a teaser is a parlay of adjusted lines. The extra points you get obviously increase each pick's chances of winning. The actual win probabilty of each is somewhere in the 65-70% range. Your book put the lines at -210 each. And -210 equals a 67.74% win expectation (210/310), so I went with that number.
