Only teams without 2 losses... who'll remain standing?

    2. Kansas 11-0
    3. West Virginia 9-1
    4. Missouri 10-1
    5. Ohio State 11-1
    15. Hawaii 10-0
    19. Boise St. 10-1

At the end of the night, Boise State will have 2 losses, so you can take them off that list.

Mo beats Kan , then loses to Okla. WVU vs OSU in final. Hawaii goes 13-0 after winning a BCS bowl.

BCS Rank - Team - Record - Games Remaining
    2. Kansas 11-0 (1 + Bowl + 1 potential Big 12 final)
    3. West Virginia 9-1 (2 + Bowl)
    4. Missouri 10-1 (1 + Bowl + 1 potential Big 12 final)
    5. Ohio State 11-1 (Bowl)
    15. Hawaii 11-0 (1 + Bowl)
...All others at least 2 losses

So in theory (mathematically) we could still have a national champion with 2 losses.

Assuming West Virginia completes the blowout...

BCS Rank - Team - Record - Games Remaining
    2. Kansas 11-0 (1 + Bowl + 1 potential Big 12 final)
    3. West Virginia 10-1 (1 + Bowl)
    4. Missouri 10-1 (1 + Bowl + 1 potential Big 12 final)
    5. Ohio State 11-1 (Bowl)
    15. Hawaii 11-0 (1 + Bowl)

...All others at least 2 losses

Mathematically there could still be a national champion with 2 losses.

Teams with less than 2 losses:

Previous BCS Rank - Team - Record - Games Remaining
    3. West Virginia 10-1 (1 + Bowl)
    4. Missouri 11-1 (Big 12 final + Bowl)
    5. Ohio State 11-1 (Bowl)

Likely out of consideration for National Title
    2. Kansas 11-1 (Bowl)
    15. Hawaii 11-0 (1 + Bowl)

All other teams have at least 2 losses.

Mathematically there could still be a national champion with 2 losses.

2-loss teams that might still within range if both West Virginia and Missouri stumble next week:
    - Georgia (Bowl)
    - Virginia Tech (ACC final + Bowl)
    - Oklahoma (Big 12 final + Bowl)

Holy freakin' crap. WVU loses to Pitt, and Missouri is down 11 to Okahoma in the 4th.

NO ONE WANTS TO WIN THE TITLE THIS YEAR. THE 2007 BCS IS A MESS.

As of this moment, looks like Ohio State has grabbed a spot in the title game:

    1. Missouri 11-1 (losing)
    2. West Virginia 10-1 (lost)
    3. Ohio State 11-1 (idle)
    5. Kansas 11-1 (idle)
    12. Hawaii 11-0 (later)

What 2-loss team will they play (if OU holds on)? And what about Kansas? (And at this point, too bad they won't give Hawaii a shot... it's not like anyone else is uber-deserving.)

    4. Georgia 10-2 (idle)
    6. Virginia Tech 10-2 (won)
    7. LSU 10-2 (won)
    8. USC 9-2 (won)
    9. Oklahoma 10-2 (winning)

    It's official. Mizzou loses, too.
