My Top 10 College football Rankings

    1.
    USC (4-0 )

    2.
    LSU (5-0)

    3.
    Florida (4-1)
I know they lost, but I can't really drop the Gators that much. I still feel they're one of the most talented and best-coached teams in the country. If Percy Harvin hadn't ran backward on the first play of Florida's final drive, the Gators could be 5-0. I also think Florida was guilty of looking ahead to LSU. I'll shut up if the Tigers win next week, but I have a feeling LSU will lose to Florida.
    4.
    Caliornia (5-0)

    5.
    Boston College (5-0)

    6.
    Kentucky (5-0)

    7.
    Oklahoma (4-1)

    8.
    Oregon (4-1)

    9.
    South Florida (4-0)
Why would anyone think South Florida's victory over a very lackadaisical West Virginia squad is a bad thing for the Big East? First of all, someone had to expose the defensively challenged Mountaineers. And with Rutgers, Louisville and West Virginia losing recently, the Bulls are the top team in the conference

    10. Ohio State (5-0)

Skip the rest of the ranks. went to the top 26 to 36

    ranks from 26 to 36
    (Alphabetical Order)

Alabama Arizona State Boise State Cincinnati Florida State Hawaii Louisville Penn State Purdue Texas A&M

all Florida teams are great this year.

They're good. I think the teams from 20-50 are pretty much even with each other. I'll give some of those other teams a nod for now as Illinois has sucked pretty bad for a while. If they can knock off Wisconsin they should jump in there.

    nep,

Not a bad list. The main ones I disagree with are Michigan, Tennessee and Navy being too high, Arizona St, Missouri and Duke too low.

Michigan and Tennessee are probably a little too high. My problem with Arizona St and Missouri is that it seems every year those 2 start out 5-0 and end up 7-5.

My rankings are more for me to help pick games than to determine who should be playing for the BCS title.

Purdue falls into that Arizona St/Missouri category with me. They look great so far, I am just not convinced it will last.
