When I break this game down, I can't see that KU will not win by at least 24 to 30 points. After being at both games so far this year, I can tell that this KU squad is for real. From the players to the coaches to the fans, there is a different feeling in Lawrence about KU football. A lot of big teams across the country are struggling with smaller schools but this team has been focused for 2 consecutive games and will continue to be for week 3 against Toledo. Even though it was a close game last year, a lot has happened to both teams. Toledo has lost several key players due to various activities (point shaving). KU has done nothing but add talented players at key positions, including the QB spot. KU beat Central Michigan 52-7 and looked flawless. Last week they looked the same as they won 62-0 against SE Louisiana. The key here is that Toledo gave up over 450 yards to Central Michigan and ended up losing by 3 td's. Yes, it was close thru the 3rd qtr, but Central Michigan pulled away late. Toledo did put up a lot of yards as well (400+) but that was against a Central Michigan team who also gave up 538 against KU. My prediction is that KU's defense will shutdown Toledo and the offense will roll with another 40+ point outing. Take KU -22 (45-10)
