YTD 5-5
UCLA -7
Too much respect for BYU here. UCLA returning 20 starters, playing at home and Max is starting his first game on the road at Pasadena. Have fun.
Penn St -13
While the steam is galore on this game, I have to think Penn St covers this number. They were embarrassed last year at South Bend and suddenly the tables have turned. Claussen catches himself in a pickle making his first start in Happy Valley v a Penn St team who I have picked to win the Big Ten. While I do not think ND is as bad as they played as they showed us last week, I think it is just a bad spot to back the Irish here.
Missouri -5.5
Another line I find off here in Week 2. We should see a crisp performance from Mizzou here instead of the collapse that almost occured v Illinois. Memphis passed for 348 yards on Mississippi, what do you think Daniels is gonna do?
Virginia -16.5
Virginia at home, they play Duke.
Florida St -33
Situational play here. As I watched the Clemson/FSU game, I saw in the second half that the FSU defense shutout Clemson and started clicking offensively making a game out of what appeared to be a lost cause. Fortunately, Clemson won SU giving us a hungry FSU playing their home opener v UAB who was beat up by a physical Michigan St team the week before. FSU's athleticism alone should get them the cover here and week by week we should see Jimbo's results. I had the same situation last year with FSU hosting Rice and the Noles took care of business pounding the Owls 55-7. Rice made a bowl game, UAB will not.
