Anyone hear Spencer Tillman??? He claims right now... it should be

    1. Georgia
    2. Alabama
    3. Ohio State
    4. Michigan

He also claims... if Georgia beats Alabama.... Alabama should still be in the playoffs (even with 2 losses.) lol

Where do people come up with this sh#$?

They need Georgia to beat bama.

If bama wins then both Georgia and bama at 12-1 get in.

Then B1G champion 12-1 ohio state or mich.

Then oklahoma state would very likely jump into the 4th spot if they win the big 12 at 12-1.

    Trust me.

Only georgia, bama, mich and Ohio state control their destiny.

Ok state and cincy and ND need some help.

Ok state sitting in the best spot outside the top 4. Hosting sooners next week then can go win the big 12 title game and they are very likely in the CFP field of 4.

Cincy needs Georgia to beat bama.

Cincy ugly wins over navy tulane and Tulsa look very large.

    Just trust me.

Of course they won’t. They’ll move up the minimum this week. I’m talking about beating Oklahoma state 2 straight games in theory, with neither being at home. That would get respect.

You may have a point with the ugly wins. The big 12 team would have to look damn good though twice and Cincinnati would have to get 2 ugly wins. Still seems more likely they would stick a one loss Oklahoma in over them than a one loss Oklahoma state, since Oklahoma is the brand. I actually don’t think those bad wins in the past will matter nearly as much as these 2 weeks will. But yes, if they eke out the last 2 then they could possibly get left out if everything else breaks perfectly against them. I think if they look good these last 2 games they will be fine though. The win at ND is still going to hold a ton of weight since it looks like it will be NDs only loss.

I agree about Georgia being the only complete team and that D will travel anywhere and dominate. They are incredible.

If they bring even their B game vs bama, they win by 14.

Give Michigan credit for a nice year but they still lack secondary speed and losing to Sparty showed they can thrown on.
Line opened at 7.5 I doubt it stays at that very long. Might get to -10 by Saturday.

streaks are meant to be broken. who cares where the line goes? we know that in general, bettors lose long term so i don't really care where the line goes.

expected to be 36 degrees in ann arbor on saturday. that will help michigan more than high flying ohio state.

Michigan needs a ridiculous... unbelievable performance by their QB. It's college kids... anything can happen. But... that's exactly what Michigan needs... and feed off of the 100,000+ fans to have any hope.

Again... weak schedules by Michigan and Michigan State this year didn't test them early. Played weak tit teams.

3 things working for MICH in this game:

    1) at home
    2) cold weather which can slow down the tOSU passing game
    3) tremendous O-Line and running game

the game plan is simple - make the game an extremely physical, phone booth type of game, 3 yds and a cloud of dust, move the chains and play keepaway. limit Buckeye possessions.

the Mich run game vs the Ohio State D is an advantage for the Wolverines. don't look at yesterday's result - look at the ohio st v purdue game and also v penn state. Buckeye D not that great.

both teams played Sparty, i know, but UM had to go to east lansing, which is a huge difference than getting them at home. UM dominated that game for 3Q but made two big errors by a frosh QB.

point is, this is FAR from david vs goliath. UM can really win this game, i am not kidding. styles make fights and styles make CFB matchups. UM matches up really well with tOSU.

don't forget that the Buckeyes lost at home to Oregon, but again, it was a long time ago.

Very bold and ballsy. You know I live about 25 minutes east of Ann Arbor... and I don't think Ohio State is that kind of team... that walks into Ann Arbor and is scared shi#less. The stadium used to have that vibe.... when you feared it. Nobody fears it anymore. If you are wagering money on Michigan + the points I'll wish you luck. I never want to see anyone lose money. I will always root for anyone who has money on a game.

Low Vig had Ohio State -7.5 +112 early line.... and I'm mad at myself for not taking Ohio State -7.5 when I had the chance.

did you see Ok State at #7?

if they beat #10 OU and then #8 Baylor in the Big 12 title game, it will be extremely difficult to keep them out.

Georgia needs to beat Bama or schools like Cincy or Ok State will get screwed.

Ohio State or Michigan at 12-1 wins the Big 10 they are GUARANTEED in.

Georgia is guaranteed in unless they lose to GaTech AND Bama and and are 11-2

Georgia really needs to beat Bama or a smaller deserving school like Cincy or Ok State is gonna get fukkkttt

After seeing the rankings, bama is going to be 5th if they lose to Georgia unless Cincinnati loses or the weekend winners lose in the championship game. They will not have them lose and play Georgia in the 1/4 matchup. They are setting them up to be moved out. If they kept them 2nd, they could have dropped them to 3 with a loss.

If bama beats auburn and Georgia, they obviously should be in. I think 2 losses and no conference title you should be out with only 4 teams unless other teams had 2 losses

16 seasons of BCS title games - only one time a 2 loss team made it (2007 LSU during the mayhem season)

7 seasons of CFP, ZERO two loss teams.

that is 60 teams (32 BCS and 28 playoff) and only one 2 loss team made it.

    1/60 = 1.67% chance

Bama is OUT if they lose to Georgia even if it's by one point IMO

You keep on suggesting cold weather helps Michigan? With all due respect.... I don't see cold weather helping Michigan. Ohio State would beat your ass in Alaska... they really don't care. Ohio State probably has the best 3 WR crew in college football at the moment. Michigan isn't know for DB's... and you can't cover all 3.

Regardless, Michigan hired and paid Harbaugh to BEAT Ohio State... and he hasn't. I don't even think he has a coaching plan to do this. The only way Michigan has a chance... if all these kids play with HEART. The best game of their lives.. it's the only way. It won't be done by coaching.... because Harbaugh doesn't have a plan. C.J Stroud really hasn't shown his ability for speed.... while scrambling and gaining yards. He's been told to stay in the pocket. I have a feeling this is the game.... in which if you find ANY SPORTSBOOK with a CJ Stroud Rushing yards total..... you might want to take the OVER. He's going to be rushing for yards. I don't really know if Michigan is ready for this or not?

Weather is not going to be an issue. Columbus, OH is every bit as midwest as Ann Arbor, MI... Nobody on the Buckeyes is gonna be chattering their teeth. The forecast calls for 35 degrees with no wind, that's downright balmy for late November in the north. You throw on a helmet with a full suit of pads and temperature becomes a complete non factor.

Michigan best chance of winning do like Oregon control the line of scrimmage run it right at them. Have long time-consuming drives keep that offense on the beach as much as possible and win the turn over battle. then maybe

But this really isn't cold weather. CJ may have his hands full on Saturday, but it won't be because of Mother Nature.

I grew up in the Midwest, trust me, 35 isn't cold. If I was fortunate enough to catch a windless, 35 degree day in late autumn/winter, I was at the park shooting hoops, and after about 5-10 minutes of intense activity I was down to shorts and a t-shirt. Literally. It's a nothing burger.

the large margin of victories over Mich State and Purdue the last few weeks have seemingly erased the sloppy victories vs Penn State (gave up 24 pts to a pedestrian O) and Nebraska the weeks prior to that.

i think things are setting up very nicely for UM in this game.

you do NOT lose justin fields and get BETTER.

CJ is going to be a great QB in his career at Ohio State, but he is still a frosh in his first rivalry game of this level, but UM has the veterans in key spots and they are going to get their revenge this Saturday and atone for the last 5 losses under Harbaugh to Ohio State.

MICHIGAN + the points is the play.

wind would be more of a problem than temp 36 degrees will be like 46 when u break a sweat both those teams are cold weather teams and prob prefer it. I think harbaugh said before season they would beat state if I recall games can surprise sometimes mich could break some long runs and get up early will be young osu qb first time in an environment like this but I wouldn’t take um ml or anything

But those "sloppy" victories you speak of still yielded 9 point victory margins which would be enough to cover the spread on Saturday.

This is a much better team they are playing on sat in ann arbor than Nebraska and penn state are.

Mich won close games in lincoln and happy valley but they will be a different beast at home on sat.
