Less than 5% chance for college football this year

    Who are we kidding?

Does anyone really believe kids will be on campus this fall?

Several FCS conference have already canceled football.

    Keep voting for those democrats!

    i agree

the closer we get i believe we have college football in the spring assuming a vaccine comes out. this only conference games thing will not fly.

i do not see the kids playing. all a school would need is one kid catching it playing a game and the publicity would be horrible.

Mark Emmert. “This document lays out the advice of health care professionals as to how to resume college sports if we can achieve an environment where COVID-19 rates are manageable. Unfortunately nothing in college sports will happen unless colleges make students/players sign waivers that they are not responsible for anything that may happen

I personally think hospitalizations and ICU/venilator capacity are more important but cases and deaths will strain my metrics too.

Either way, it's all about the trend and the trend is not our friend right now.

Herd immunity not really going to be a thing here Shute, possibly.

It's entirely possible that immunity will last even less time than the other deadly SARS, MERS, etc.

We're talking months or less before you can be reinfected again.

Herd immunity to any degree of effeciveness just MIGHT be a pipe dream.

Still so much to learn about this virus and what it does and for how long.

Some discoveries sound pretty scary, even if rare. Let's see what happens.

I agree but on johns hopkins and worldometers the numbers most prevalent are new cases and new deaths. The new cases show the virulence and velocity of this beast.

I fully believe the case count is the main number the power 5 conf's are focused on. My opinion

Got the antibody test with my gf. We each had covid in early March. I flew back and forth ny to la a few times. Guessing I got it traveling. I had a fever and felt like crap for a few days. Wasn’t that bad. I was pumped to find out I already unknowingly conquered this facker. Lame immunity only last a few months apparently. Oh well. It’s a lil vagina virus for 99.9% of healthy ppl. Soccer games happening all over the world flawlessly. I’ve lost a ton of respect for our country during this bs pandemic.

Also, for those doubting the coverage has nothing to do with the election need to start paying attention. CNN is a joke. Conveniently forgot about covid during the weeks of protests. Democrats Pretty much joined the BLM movement in defiance of Trump and vice versa with him downplaying covid and not wearing a mask. Rest of the world has to be laughing at us. Pathetic response by our government.

Getting Covid in the past basically means nothing you can still get it again so it’s a wasted test

Would be even worse! 60+ million US cases of H1N1 under Obama/Biden watch, just 3.5 million Covid so far. H1N1 obviously not as deadly as Covid, but I wouldn't want Sleepy Joe in charge with that track record!

Some of these colleges are going to try to get their students to test a vaccine and use it on the players in some type of deal.
