The fact is that 'Bama is the hot team now, so they are going to get all the ink. They are also one of the few positive stories in College Football this season. I mean I would rather hear about Saban than the losers in the Big 10 (Harbaugh and Meyer).

True BigdaddyQH! I live in central Alabama and I'm hearing the noise from Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and Montgomery on a daily basis 24/7. Not to mention that I'm an Auburn graduate!

Never really thought Saban was an elite coach. He has an elite team. There's a huge difference.

Give him the Navy team.... let me see if he can keep it close.

Easy to win games when you have the most athletic player at every position.

The last two posts is a perfect example of why this site is the laughing stock of sports sites. One idiot thinks that a coach going for a record breaking 7th National Championship is not elite. The second one, a total and complete fool who has the most losses of anyone in here thinks that all he's got going for him is being a great recruiter. If you two got into a duel with 6 shooters, you would have to reload your guns 5 times before anyone hit the other. That is how bad you two are.

Well , actually agree with you QH .
Coaching is much more than one simple part of the overall picture . I'm sure , or at least hope you realise that .
It's big time , from donor money to recruiting to coaching games . It's takes all their time to keep it going . I would like to hear who is better than him ? Recruiting is actually a part of being great , no different than draft picks , that's what makes most NFL teams step from average to great , ask the Rams . Those draft picks are finally starting to Pay off .
