Are we looking at the same teams? WVU is 14th overall offensively and Utah is 32nd.

I hate betting favorites in these bowl games. They’re not covering. Hell theyre not even winning. Every team that looks better on paper is losing. I do agree that Utah seems like the better play, but Just can’t pull the trigger on them. We don’t know how WVu will come out with a new qb who has had 3 weeks practice with the first string. He may look great. He may look crappy. I’m staying away.

BUT, on the backside of the defense WVU has some of the worst tackling DBs you will ever see. Utes are a far superior team in the Special teams department. It comes down to if WVU can establish the run and get to Utes QB. I think they can do that. I'm taking the 7 pts.

I watched him the entire game against OU. He could not pass at all.

Maybe the long layoff will help him since he has had more reps.

There is a ton of misinformation in this thread. I don’t feel confident in either side.

It’s a crapshoot trying to cap these trash exhibition bowl games. A lot of it just comes down to motivation.

Utahs’s coach always has them motivated in games like this but it seems like SBR is on Utah.

Now West Virginia is no bargain package, but they do have wins against Iowa State, Texas Tech, and Kansas State. This game is for the absolute degenerates out there, and all of the air bettors. Giving 7 points is ridiculous. Wagering on this game is desperation. And you guys wonder why you lose so much.

A QB is the leader of the offense so if he isn't tough the offense is probably not going to do much. A 6-6 team being a 7 point favorite vs a 7-5 team? They lost by 1 to USC on the road and lost by 3 at Washington. Good luck. We shall see
