If Georgia wins, they go to #1. ACC champ will probably be in, Miami would probably be #4 behind at-large Bama, Again that avoids all-SEC semi.

You are overrating Big Ten, Bama would be double-digit fave over Wiscy, maybe -6 over Ohio State. And Wiscy being undefeaed merits no consideration with their schedule.

Yes this is where the loser of their conference championship plays themselves out of everyone's thoughts, that game is a curse if youre in contention and not having one is a benefit if youre banging on the door of top 4.

so who gets snubbed? Big 10 or big 12? Id say big 12 gets snubbed at this point. you agree? Oklahoma fans will riot if Ohio st wins the big. 10 and gets in over Oklahoma.

Early season losses are not as important as late season do or die situation losses........
Especially in Auburn's case because if you knock 2 #1 teams off their thrown
in do or die situations late in the season,, you are #1, ..............................

If Miami beats Clemson witch is highly unlikely they should be #2..
But that pitt loss looks bad
This would be another shake up for sure....

Clemson lost to Syracuse which is bad as losing to pitt..

They could beat the Patriots and it doesn't overcome the fact they have two losses.

They have to beat Georgia again to get in, they made their bed now have to lay in it.

It's going to be Clemson, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Auburn followed by Georgia and Bama. Winner of the Auburn/Georgia game gets in. If Wisconsin loses the Big 10 championship game then Bama gets in.

Again, you are totally ignoring SOS, which the committee will not. Simple fact that Ohio State is favored next week says it all. Would there be any doubt about Bama getting in over Wiscy if Badgers had one regular season loss before winning Big Ten?

Big 10. Oklahoma won't get snubbed, they destroyed Ohio State in Columbus.

If you had to pick a team (by force betting your entire life savings) to win the championship,
    who would it be?

Obviously, is anyone saying otherwise? And having two losses is the only reason I think the committee will place them #2.

Bama had very weak non-conference SOS, but they have more quality wins inside SEC than Wiscy does overall.

    Um.....NO!

Big Ten is top heavy, middle tier SEC teams would destroy middle tier B1G teams. The "numbers" are skewed due to Bama cream puff non-conference slate.

    I have no conference affiliation.

    MAYBE at 4.

This is how I see it. With any upset Bama is in. Winner SEC in. Wisconsin in if wins or Big 10 gets left out.

    Clemson
    OU
    Wisconsin
    Bama
    Auburn
    Georgia
    Miami
    Ohio State
    Penn State

They will be #1 after they beat whoever gets in their way.........

I hope they use the rankings for motivation, because they believe they are #1
and since they will be disrespected if not in #1 position come Tuesday or
whenever the Playoff rankings come out, they will be fired up.......

We all know if they make less mistakes than their opponent, nobody's gonna beat em.........

Out of all those teams Clemson has played the hardest schedule, 12th ranked in the country. Next closest is Oklahoma 34th ranked scheduled.

Although I agree that Auburn would have the best resume if they win next week and that by rights rankings should be 1-Auburn 2-Clemson 3-Oklahoma 4-Alabama, I already gave couple of reason why I don't think committee would put Auburn #1. I think committee will do its best to avoid SEC semifinal, and it is easier to justify Auburn #2 citing "two losses" than it is to move up at-large Alabama ahead of good conference champs.
