Texas Tech vs TCU Over 56

Opened at 59, showing 94% on Over, yet it’s down to 56....

Why was I wrong to pull the trigger on the Over 56???

Yeah I know that’s what it is. But Texas Tech is at home and they will sling the ball. Kingsbury has been focusing on defense this year, but they know the offense has to be prepared for this game.

Could be wrong, as there appears to be a lot of money on the under.

    We shall see.

Liking Texas tech to cover the spread. Don’t know about the total.

Probably fly over that total if tech can put up a few tds but what do I know I thought the Sooners/tcu total would hit as well. Those bastards scored 52 first half and 6 points combined 2nd half.

The deal is this. TCU has some major injuries in the offensive backfield. I am unable to check now, but if you go to the injury reports, I believe it says that their starting QB is out. That means the ONLY way TCU keeps their dream of a rematch against OU in the Big 12 CC game is depend on their defense to hold the scoring down.

I think you're fine here. I like some obviously "square bets", especially in CFB.

TCU's defense is good for a Big 12 defense, which is great and all, but it's nowhere near defenses like Georgia, Bama, or even NCSt.

And TTech's D got a lot better this year, but it still went from an F to a C-.

I think the game goes into the 60s.

Hill is out, yes, and I think that's why the total got as low as it did. Possibly too much so.

Not only is Hill out, but their PK and RB are also out. Unless T-Tech's defense is a total disaster (certainly possible in the Big 12) TCU is not going to score a lot of points and the only way they can advance is to win. It will be up to their defense.

If Texas Tech D is what I have to worry about, I feel good.

I don't think having TCU's RB out is as big of a deal as it is in some places. Their scheme is what puts up yards, not the individual.

Kind of like anywhere Gary Kubiak has been in the NFL, you see total bums having monster seasons (Foster, Forsett, every Denver RB back in the day, etc.) It's the scheme.

The scheme will not work if two of its starting players in the backfield are not playing. Now I am not saying that the game goes over or under. What I want is a TCU loss so we can have a rematch of Bedlam. I really do not care what the final score is. The more points scored in the game, the better chance T-Tech has of pulling an upset if the came is close. If it is not, then the total number of points do not matter.

Texas Tech has a good chance to pull off the upset here.

My guess is that it will probably be a better game than some 17-9 Wisky win over Michigan would be.

Backup RB is senior Kyle Hicks, who rushed for 1042 yds last year, and caught passes for 417 yds. He's filled in nicely this year for Darius Anderson (OUT). Things drop off pretty steeply after Hicks, though.

Tex Tech should be more motivated and bring strong def. Hard to predict. TCU has a way of getting wins.

Seems often times after a team like tcu gets their high hopes shit on the previous week they struggle in following game. See pen st after blowing the osu game!

Maybe you will luck out and it more of a goalpost to goalpost wind where team with the wind can accomplish some things and make long fgs! Hopefully it not a cross wind, think I read swirling which not good.

I am gonna go ahead and put the same amount on Tex Tech +200.

Two of my kids’ are having a surprise bday party today during this game. I have to take them to the bounce house while my wife sets up for the party. Hopefully I can stream on my phone.

As you can tell my nephews have had a party there I attended once, lol. luckily there was a Applebee's or something in same plaza so I was mostly there until party was done bouncing and joined me

There is a zip line place I take them to every once in a while that serves beer, but that’s a little too far for today.
