    Yeah, no one said that was the only factor although it was a big one, but beating a team at home with a hurt quarterback doesn't make you the fourth best team in the country.

    Not by itself. Their record does tho. Obviously comes down to them vs Clemson but as of now after last 2 weeks they have earned one of those spots.

    They have 1 win against a ranked team, Virginia Tech won't be ranked after this week. Not a top 4 team.

    UM not commenting, as of yet, on swirling message board rumors that Jeff Thomas has left team. But it's known around team that Thomas has clashed with coaches, has been unhappy and there was issue yesterday. UM scheduled to practice in a few hours.

    This is Miami's slot receiver and probably best playmaker, on offense or special teams.
