K St +5.5 for SVP Badbeat

Where to start!? Talk about a bad beat! Kicker misses 53 yard fg in double OT due to so many bad calls and penalties, hits off the post...then Texas 3rd and goal on the 2 and run up the middle, runner being pushed back but refs don't stop forward progress then Warren gets a second push from teammates and goes in to score TD to win by 6!

There was also a missed FG by Texas from about 25 yards out with about 5 minutes left. If they would have made that they would have tied at that point and won by 3 after their second FG is good. As it were, that missed FG kept them down by 3 and the second FG only tied it which lead to the backdoor in OT.

The fact that Texas even kept playing for the touchdown in double OT when all they needed was a FG is almost a bad beat in and of itself because I'd say over 90% of the time the coach would just center the ball for a chip shot, especially on 3rd down.

But apparently Texas's confidence in the kicker was shot by that point and they were still willing to risk a botched handoff or a strip to run the ball up the gut three straight times despite having a gimme FG if they want it.

Then of course that final run where the whole pile was moving backward before it swayed forward and into the end zone. Pretty crazy the refs allowed that whole play to unfold and swallowed the whistle.
