    What We're Doing Here Tonight Gentlemen Is Betting Duke Plus The Points Against The U

    Dookie is a salty team who has compiled a relatively impressive resume thus far this year but, as always, has managed to float under the radar.

    If Kaaya was still under center for the Canes it would give me pause, but Miami is breaking in a new quarterback and this will be his first road test. Hell, it's only Miami's 3rd game overall, whereas this will be game five for Duke.

    I personally have Duke +7 -124 because I bought a half point when it was 6.5 but I'd still take the Blue Devils plus whatever you can get. I expect a tight contest tonight that Duke could very well win outright.

    Playcalling isn't doing them any favors either. Stalling out drives with pass plays needing one yard to convert. These Dookies need to step it up before this becomes an early knockout.

    You forgot to mention M.Rosier started & won on the road vs Duke two years ago for his one & only career road start. I guess he seems to have confidence there.

    Touche... it's not that Rosier doesn't know the system so much, I was more alluding to the fact that Kaaya is gone and his replacement lacks much experience. Even redshirt sophomore Daniel Jones was able to get extensive starting experience last year for Dookie.

    UM's defense has been better though & was thought to have a stellar defense this year, but the two games prior have slighted that assumption for 2017. Maybe they are finding their feet & schemes in this 3rd game.

    I wouldn't say Miami's defense has played better necessarily, but they've played well. Total yardage in this game has to be pretty close to even.

    Duke's defense has been put in some pretty tough spots in this game where Miami getting points almost felt like an inevitability and yet they've turned the Canes away. Miami's best offense in this game has been Walton making individual plays on sheer talent.
