"New York City is a melting pot of college football fans and the heartbeat of America,” said ESPN vice president of production Lee Fitting in a release. “Thousands of alumni gather in the city each fall Saturday to root on their school and we are bringing College GameDay to New York for them!"

This must been the host of college game day begging the head of production to go New York City. I can only imagine these guys saying please we been everywhere else lets go to NY. Seriously guys their are almost no decent college football teams in the NY city metro area or in the northeast.

One wonders if they will actually find real college students to put on the show in NYC. Maybe they will have to hire actors who act like college students.

Ahh no, NYC and jersey is the home of Broadway, cardboard pizza, rap music,Donald trump, chris Christie, the statue of liberty, alec baldwin ,jay z, the yankees, jets and giants, jersey shore, .Did i forget anything? It sure is not the home of college football. You could not get any further away from college football than new york city.

Should be fun to see that crowd. A lot of Cuse fans down there. Rutgers has like 10. Then, hell if I know. A lot of people that moved there, so it will be interesting at least. Maybe get to see some nice fights between Giants, and Jets fans. Can fight about who sucks less.

Maybe the Big 10 Network begged ESPN (or paid them off) to try and get more than 8 people to watch Rutgers football. Isn't that the excuse that theBig 10 gave to taking Rutgers into the conference. They wanted TV exposure. The East Coast, that great bastion of Liberalism, with States like New York, New Jersey, Conn. and Mass. have the absolute WORST College Football teams in America. Teams from the Dakota's and Montana could beat the East Coast teams.
